He has no insurance on any workers if you look his license up. He cons old people at the Heritage Estates and any old person that will hire him. He starts at a low price then bids up quickly. He won't give you a written bid because he is unethical. He has people doing electrical that are not licensed. Stay away and save yourself your money and the headache. Jose is the worst kind of person out there. He knows exactly the con he is running. He was hired to do our front yard and back yard back in 2022. He did literally nothing except run some sprinkler lines in our front yard and placed boulder rocks on top of them. He quoted us a price and then on day 2 said oh this is too much much we need more money to continue. He is NOT INSURED and has 0 employees working under his license. There were gaps in the sod he installed. He never installed paver stones we requested; just left them in a pile in the backyard. Said he'd come back to cut the grass and check on his work; never did. He didn't clean up all of his mess. The whole project and experience with him was just very unprofessional. He also argued with family members when they called him out on issues. Nothing was ever his fault and he always had an excuse for everything. Talked down and over all the females in our family. Always kept asking for more money to complete the project before it was done, despite having agreed to a set amount before the project was started. Also complained to us about his employees all the time and the problems he was having with them. Would never hire this man to do another project for us and wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

I really didn't know what I wanted in the beginning but just wanted our front yard cleaned up, but the more I looked at our yard I knew I wanted something clean and different with grass. I asked Victor what he was able to do and he pretty much said he can do it all and he did not come up short! He provided me a very reasonable quote to redo the front yard and back. He provided some ideas, but ultimately did what was asked and made it beautiful. He did not deviate from his quote when added material was needed or changes had to be made which made it that much more to appreciate the work done! He and his crew worked very hard, and finished the job in a timely manner despite some raining days. Things he completed: -Removed all plants, bushes, roots. -Removed all rocks top soil and mulch -Dug out a path for the stairs -Cement for the stairs and added curbing to the front and backyard -Completed and added sprinkles and drip system to front and backyard - added new top soil and sod to the front and backyard -removed and hauled away all old material. I am more then pleased the way our yard looks and definitely would recommend him for any job! Worst contractor ever. They started the job on April 27 and finished first week in June they said 2…read moreweeks to complete job . After the first 2 weeks they started another job and were going days at a time not showing up. Also paid 20% up front then the rest when completed but asked for money twice before finished . When they took out my trees they did not take out all of the roots in the ground and did nothing to the dirt to kill weeds etc before putting the cheapest weed barrier down that after 2 weeks were coming through everywhere (see attached pics) . They subbed out concrete work which looked pretty good which was stamped and colored . When concrete was done there were a couple chips and bare patches of color that the landscapers patched with no color ( see photo). Also lost 30 % of plants died which most of them I replaced myself they replaced some of them but took over a month to do. The reason most of them died is because the drip line either wasn't to the plant or non existent to the plant and when they came back to replace the plants they moved rock out of the way to put a better weed barrier down for an hour a day for 1 or 2 days and told me they would fix it all but never came back to finish all of it. There are many things they did not finish that I let go and did myself but the main issue with the weeds I wanted corrected was all I asked for and they couldn't even do that . Look the guys were great and I trusted them at my home and the design we came up with looks great but the quality and follow through of the work was not great at all. Update All my new drip lines are leaking and most plants have died and I have more weeds than the grass that was removed. Also now that rain has came it is flooding everywhere as they took at all my drains in my front and back yard and never replaced pretty awesome waste of money

He gave me the pros and the cons of my ideas and how everything should come together before even submitting his bid. His price competed favorably with the other contractors and his references all gave positive reviews. He also gave me addresses of his most recent jobs to drive by. He supplied his license information, liability insurance, bond and workers comp insurance information. Price is important of course, but there are other items I look for in selecting a contractor. Tom has an extremely low license number meaning he's been around for a long, long time-through good times and bad (since 1997). He also has long-time crew members which say a lot. His crew has an almost 100 years combined experience; two working with him since he got his license. I am a little late in my review as the job was finished in April/2023. He and his entire crew showed up on time every day until the job was finished. They all were thorough, fast as well as neat and clean. There is not much more one can ask for in a contractor.
