We ordered the spinach dip, the Peggy Bundy with chicken, and the Italian Stallion, and finished with the mystery milkshake, a $10 gamble where they pick three random flavors and you try to guess them. Get it right and it's free plus a $20 gift card. The spinach dip comes out hot and bubbling, covered in grated cheese with a thick, creamy texture underneath. The crostini are golden, crisp, and heavily seasoned. Every bite has flavor. For context, my favorite style is New York. Thin, foldable, crisp on the bottom, soft in the middle. This pizza leans a different direction, and it works. The crust reminded me of the bottom of an English muffin. Crispy, slightly fluffy, a little yeasty, with semolina giving it structure. The cheese had a great pull, toppings stayed in place, and every bite held together. And then it hit me. Back to being a kid. That once a month night. Movie rental, pizza, something sweet.
