I used the services of SoCalGunBroker to sell most of my gun collection and had a very good experience. Called and talked to them and sent them a list of what I wanted to sell. They researched what I had, and sent me an estimate of what they thought I'd be able to get for them. Kirk(the owner) called me and we discussed what the process would be to sell my stuff and what they would charge, etc.. And since I had 25 pieces to sell, he agreed to drive 2 hours to my house on a Saturday morning to pick up my guns.(And other businesses I'd talked to weren't willing to pick them up.) It took some time to sell my guns but Kirk and his wife kept in contact with me to keep me up to date on how it was going and what to expect, and what they wanted to do with particular guns. Some were sold through their shop in Ramona, but most were sold through online auctions. They even bought the unused ammo that I wanted to get rid of when I sold my guns, and helped me to sell some reloading equipment I had. Kirk and his wife worked well together to sell my items, and I was very happy with the services I received from them. All in all, they made the whole process very simple and easy for me. They handled everything. It was all documented & done lawfully. And I was paid on time with no hassles. Their prices were reasonable, and less than other businesses I'd talked to. And they're genuine, knowledgeable, honest, friendly, helpful people. As well as good communicators. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again, or recommend them to others who want or need to sell some guns. And after I'd been paid for the guns they'd sold for me- they tempted me with good prices on new guns! From now on this is my one and only gun store to go to! I took my Stoger shotgun in to be cleaned and the owner, Kirk Delph, informed me there was some unfortunate damage to the camo wrap. When he called he was very apologetic and wanted to come down and take a look. It wasn't as bad as I had envisioned and it was an older long used gun. He insisted and took upon himself to order me a brand new gun. He even let me take the newly cleaned gun back for my upcoming dove hunting trip until the new one came in. I now have my brand new gun and am very appreciative. It is rare these days to encounter such great customer service and deal with such an honest and honorable store owner. Kirk and his wife at SoCal Gunbrokers are great people to deal with. Knowledgeable, helpful and prompt in all transactions. I consigned a half dozen firearms and air guns through them and received more money than I expected and in a shorter time than anticipated. A great mom and pop store that has the lowest prices around and will take the time to talk to you as more than just a customer. I loved the fact that they talked me out of buying a gun just to make a sale until I found the gun that I'd be the most comfortable with. For someone who knows nothing about guns, this was the place to go! All of my questions were answered, and I wasn't made to feel stupid. I don't have a basis for comparison to know if their inventory is great, but it seemed pretty substantial to me. Definitely earned 5 stars- probably more. read more
