First time visiting this coffee shop in Lee's Summit. My Valentine's Day drink was delicious, I feel like there was a good balance of espresso, milk, and flavoring. Food - we ordered a sausage burrito, which was very delicious. They definitely give you a lot of meat, which is nice since that's what you're paying for. No potatoes in the burrito, which is another plus in my opinion. Bagel sandwich with added pesto was perfect. The bagel was soft and fresh which I appreciate. Excited to return here again!

Loved this place!!! They had ample street parking, a cute patio out front and on the side of the building as well. The inside was so big with lots of seating options as well! And it was just super cute! I had the broccoli cheddar quiche which was super yummy, it could use a touch of salt for me but I'd give it 8/10! I also had a medium iced Carmel toffee truffle latte, they were able to make it partially sugar free and I had mine with oat milk. They had lots of flavors and non dairy milk options as well. It had a great price point as well, I paid $15 for my order which I was thrilled with. There was a cute little area with "shopping". I also saw they do door dash as well! I would definitely recommend!

Cute little coffee shop with a fire place in the middle and lots of seating areas. Menu is large both for food and coffee. I ordered the Chicken, Bacon and Ranch Burrito, which was a good size and had a lot of flavor. It definitely made me want to check out more of the items on the menu. The coffee was really good as well. Wish it was closer to were I live but I will definitely be back for more!!

I remember the first coffee shop I went to. It was called Coffee Time and it was a sad place, more of a donut shop. It had stained preformed plastic seats, a terrible smell of industrial ammonia with terrible brews with awful day olds. Nowadays, coffee shops have as much sophistication as fancy restaurants. Gusto is one of those spots. It is very spacious, with seating for several dozen people and even has a outdoor seating area that overlooks a very nice field. It has a nice fireplace as well as little nooks and crannies for you to sit in. I give it top grades for store designer. They did a great job. The coffee itself is very good. As someone who is trying to drink coffee black, I have only found a few places were I could do it. However, while the coffee was good enough to drink on it's own, the brew itself was mild and inoffensive, even though I drank the bold Brazillian. The snack I had was called a scone, but it wasn't. It has the taste of a cookie, or those "cookie pizzas" that you see at bake sales. However, no matter, it was good. The one thing secret that you might want to try out is that on Weekdays, coffees are only $0.99 after noon, so my bill for both only came out to $3.09 tax included! I would suggest this place if you aren't too discerning about the brew and just want to get a good cup of coffee. It is worth coming to.

We just love this place! This is my neighborhood coffee shop. The food here is excellent and so is the coffee. The service is outstanding, and the staff is always kind. It's clean and nice and you never have to worry about a thing here. It kind of feels like you're in your house. Every day after 3 PM, you can get a cup of coffee for one dollar which I do frequently because that's when the afternoon sleepies hit. Recently, I brought my wife here and she had a mango smoothie that may have changed my life. It was outstanding! I'm a regular here and I love it!

I come here every once in a while. It can be nice during down times whether you want to work or study. The coffee is decent, with the freshest brew in the morning, although they do try to make fresh brewed coffee throughout the day, and you can get your own refills. As far as noise level, it can be challenging when this place gets crowded. Unfortunately, the most recent times I've visited they've played some religious music, whereas in the past it's been subtle and not as frequent. I am sure it will be worse as the holidays approach. Today, I was disappointed to find that they lacked a full case of baked goods. So, I don't know what happened to their usual supply. I ordered a croissant bacon, egg and cheese, and forgot how the last time the bacon was burnt, and should have ordered something else because, again, the bacon was like bacon jerky or something hard. The one consistent thing I've found is how this place always has nice and very professional staff to keep the place running smoothly.

How do I keep forgetting to rate this place? It's such a great local hangout spot. Perfect for sitting alone in a comfy chair or meeting up with a few friends on the patio or even a business coffee meeting. As a tea lover they have an amazing selection of "fogs" and my favorite happens to be the"Canadian fog"... It has a hint of maple (naturally!) The cold drink fridge has simpler options like juices, sida and chocolate milk so if you're here for a sandwich (breakfast or lunch) you've options! Christopher Elbow chocolates and a good selection of pastries too. What's not to love? They even sell bowties and earrings.

Still exceptional. Service and ambiance is 10/10. Sundays are quieter and laid back. Lots of GF options. Lunch served all day too.

This place has changed since my last visit. The restrooms are still clean, and the door locks are more sturdy. The little table I liked to sit at and chart has become a child's play area/Lego table. The menu has expanded and the food selections are greater. I love that they have cheesecake! Yum! Brewed coffee is a self service bar of single beans in three roast strengths. I am enjoying Nicaraguan dark. They also had a holiday blend, which I believe is flavored. It's right near Longview community College so it has a college vibe.

The space is large, bright and well decorated with plenty of seating - chairs, benches, couches, lounge seats. Some of the seating is sectioned out well and would make for a cozy conversation or study spot. Their pastry options were extensive and unique, both sweet and savory options. I'll have to try one on my next trip. Today, I ordered a pistachio latte that had some pretty excellent foam. They use Monin syrups, which is my preference (second to house made syrups, of course).

I saw that it was a newly opened coffee shop, and I had to give it a try -- and I'm so glad I did! I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte with both hazelnut and pistachio syrups, alongside their chicken and cheese bake. The bake is a warm, doughy pocket stuffed with shredded chicken and cheese. It was very flavorful and very filling. I would've loved it even more if it were piping hot instead of just warmed, but it still got the job done! As for the drink-- The pistachio flavor definitely overpowered the hazelnut flavor, but since I love pistachios, I didn't mind it as much as I would typically. Overall, Geo's Café is a lovely new spot with a great selection of small bites and a very spacious, yet quiet atmosphere that's perfect for anyone looking to work or study. I highly recommend giving it a visit!

It has very much the urban store front feel from that area. I noticed that as I walked in with two doors going opposite direction, a bit quirky for the suburbs but Grandview isn't all suburbs any more either. It's halfway between. That being said, this place is a nice break coffee shop from those that invite nanny-granny conversations and the super-stuffed wannabe types who go to coffee shops with the laptops and act as if it's their personal office space. You know who you are! and this is the coffee shop I wouldn't picture them dropping into. The music isn't too loud and tolerable, if you need to play something to listen to on your device. The music they first played was modern alternative, which was cool, but as I began my review it switched to that Mexican wailing with accordion. It's funny, when in Mexico, the coffee shops will play American alternative, or no music at all. The barista was a sweet gal who made the best Mexican chocolate mocha, so I know where to come and get a good mocha now. I would have ordered a pastry, but there weren't many here, but 3 to choose from, and I didn't see one I wanted to try. I imagined by mention of "Pan de dulce" that I would have enjoyed good Mexican pastries, but oh well, will have to go back to Mexico for that.

I always order a flat white, its my only drink so I like to compare them. That is unless I am in NOLA then I will do cafe au lait, but thats my other reviews. The foam was perfect. A nice microfoam that was smooth and silky and as it settled into the espresso it created a nice creamy smooth drink. The espresso was a touch on the bitter side for me. Maybe a few seconds quicker or a slightly less fine grind. It could have been the coffee beans themselves. I noticed they are using messenger, which is great, but tend to be a bit more bitter due to the roast. Of course, everyone's tastes are different and these are just mine. There was nothing wrong with anything. Overall the milk foam and coffee made for a tasty hot coffee drink to sip. The service was very good and helpful. The barista who made my coffee was very nice and guided us through some of the more interesting menu items, but I am a flat white guy and she nailed it. The place is very small. There are a few places outside to sit but it was hot so we sat inside. A couple of downsides. First, is my wife is a tea drinker and they really didn't have much hot tea. Second, when I order to drink it in the shop I like a real cup instead of paper. Lots of places cater to the take away so I get why they do it, but I really prefer a cup. That being said, if they would have had a great mix of tea drinks I could see this being a regular spot for us. Overall, good place to stop and sip some coffee.
