This place has always been a favorite of mine. Talk about being able to support local! Wow! Customer service through the roof. The manager, Ryan, hooked me up with a keto friendly concoction (which almost every other commercial coffee shop is completely unable to do) - it was a hot vanilla and cinnamon beverage... So delicious! Not only that, he followed up with me, while I was still there, to make sure I liked it; and offered to make something else if not. Seriously?!?! Who does that these days? This is my second review. I enjoy this place in a general way. The store is always well maintained, the service is always great with friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff. I would have to say the real reason for this second review is a bit of a follow up, but more of a praise for their wonderful scones. Wow, I was so impressed with what I ordered. I bought a cinnamon scone that was such a lite and tender treat. The flavor was really nice. It had a subtle richness and the texture was very delicate. This isn't your Star Buck's scone. read more

I absolutely love this coffee shop! The environment is a beautiful blend of international culture and relaxed Christian atmosphere. Their price on drinks is competitive, though their food is a bit high. The ownership and staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They have great wifi. And they have a good location with plenty of seating, even though they are usually busy. The only things that I feel like need improvement are as follows: 1) the size of most their tables are too small to make studying comfortable, and 2) access to power outlets is limited. This is probably my favorite coffee shop besides just regular Starbucks. It's very college esque so it has that young vibe. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the setup make it easy to talk to people or have a study group. If your pet is calm and good with ppl then they are pet friendly and everyone who works here is just friendly in general! Love their breakfast croissants and cappuccinos and their smoothies are awesome as well. If Philip is working then ask him what his suggestion is for your order. Awesome shop, the owner takes great pride in his shop and always quick to spark up a conversation. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I usually get a cappuccino but the regular coffee is great as well. All the coffee is organic and the staff takes pride in their work. Highly recommend coming for your coffee fix. read more

The staff is very friendly here. I always get an americano and it's great. My husband usually gets a specialty drink, their peanut butter mocha is delicious, as is their gusto signature. We've only been here a few times, as we are new to the area, and noticed that they have events almost every day. We haven't went to any yet but it's an added bonus. I have been several times. The service is fine. However the brewed coffee is really bad. Every time some is wrong. Either they are out, or its luke warm low. With no labels on what your choices are. I always just get a brewed one, simple, one would think. If you are serving a flavored coffee, you need to let me know. I did not want a hazelnut flavored coffee, this is all they were offering besides "why bother decaf." It was horrible...why not just do a really good plain coffee? a no for me. read more

Gusto is under new ownership and it shows. The coffee is back up to good standards and has amazing flavor. Some of the old drink choices from previous owners have survived as well as a few new additions. The frozen yogurt option is gone. Not that I'm complaining. Went here today for the first time for some coffee and had an amazing experience! The owner was extremely friendly and she actually lived in the northwest at one point in her life. The Pacific Northwest is sort of the capital of coffee for America so she gained instant credibility with me. She said that her and her husband have traveled all over the world and I believe this has helped them pick the best ingredients for their coffee. They have the best chocolate syrups you can buy. Gustos Coffee Shop is hands down one of the most amazing coffee places I've been to. In a good location next to Longview College, Gustos is a small,(but not uncomfortably small) cozy, and lively place to grab amazing drinks, socialize, or study. It pulls you in with their charming decor and their way of interacting with the community with live music and game nights. The drinks themselves are very good, with their own house specialties and wide range of selections. I often order the Frozen Hot Chocolate and the Starry Starry Night, both being very good drinks. Comparing Gustos to Love Coffee, another new coffee place that is becoming popular, I prefer Gustos. Although I also recommend Love Coffee because of its atmosphere and friendly staff, I love Gustos more because of the more spacious and cozy setting that allows comfortable socialization. I can go to Gustos anytime to grab a drink or study, but I feel limited in the space of Love Coffee. Overall, I would totally recommend this place. Good drinks, good decor, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere has earned it 5 stars imo. read more

This coffee shop has come a long way since it opened. I've always loved the cozy environment with its nooks and crannies to enjoy some time with friends. The beverages and food have only ever continued to improve as has the service. Friendly and efficient. I enjoy seeing the owner there frequently. It's been a minute (like 6+ months) since I've stopped in and looks like things have only gotten worse as I remember customer service being blah last time I visited. I was greeted today with "yeah?" when I stepped up to the counter to place my order. Then he left for a few minutes and came back and said "yeah?" again like it was a complete imposition that I was wanting to place an order. I gave him my order and that was that. The gluten-free scone was so dried out and tasteless that I had no desire to finish it and the other scone that the person who was with me had was also dried out and she didn't eat it (non-gluten free). My iced matcha latte was nearly all milk and barely any green from the matcha. 3 of the 4 things we ordered were undrinkable/unedible so they sadly went into the trash (pretty tough to mess up a plain ol' iced tea - at least that was fine). So far the only good thing about this coffee shop is their variety of London Fogs which are pretty darn good, but I'm not sure they care if anyone actually comes in to try their stuff because they sure don't act like it. Makes me sad to pass by a local coffee/tea shop because I'd rather give them my business than the large chain stores but customer service is important to me and in this case it's the deciding factor whether I'll be back or not (probably not). read more
