Either the email isn't functional (although it appears to have been opened at some point) or they aren't concerned with customer service. I ended up going elsewhere.

So, whenever we have had to do maintenance on the system, we have called them for service. Their technicians are prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Recently, we felt the iron filter was not working well enough. We scheduled an appointment for Hanson to send someone over. Dustin came to check out our iron filter and determined that at 15+ years we had some hard choices to make. He walked us through our options, patiently answered my questions, and did not try and sell anything specific. We talked about replacing the water softener at the same time. He ran tests and confirmed it was in working order. We scheduled time for them to replace the iron filter. Again, Dustin and his assistant arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. He took the time to explain the whole setup to me and ensured I was comfortable with the work done. They are easy to work with and a great service-oriented company. I also love the fact they are heavily involved in the local community. Strongly recommend Hanson Soft Water for any water filtration needs. Wish more businesses were like them!

Called Mr Holland whose been our go to Hvac for years and I told them our AC was not working. They told me someone would be out to service it around dinner time bc the tech was on another call. So now its 6pm and they told me same thing. Fast forward I called them again and they said I had to reschedule, but they wouldn't tell me when. Next morning, thinking they would call me but its now 9am so I had to call them and speak to a supervisor who was in a meeting,‍so again I had to wait. When they returned my call a short time later she said a tech would be out be out around 11ish am today. Tech arrived and did a great job, so thank you Jonathan. Its 90 degs and at 1 pmish we now have AC, yeah!

I called Mr. Holland's about a Generac generator indicator light showing maintenance was needed on…read moremy home generator. They sold me on their maintenance plan, and when the tech arrived he diagnosed that the gas line and gas distributor had been installed improperly and that the line would need to be rebuilt. I agreed to their estimate and they sent another technician out to rebuild the line and replace the distributor. He was still not able to get the generator started, at which point he called me to collect payment. I let him know that I wanted to speak with someone about this before paying the invoice as I felt the job hadn't been completed. I was then contacted by the service manager. He told me that they had a signed estimate and the work on the estimate had been completed. I didn't disagree with him, but felt that another service appointment was a bit unreasonable as they'd been there twice already, once to do a regular service (which couldn't be completed as the gas line issue was diagnosed) and once to rebuild the line/replace distributor (which I was told was the issue). Instead of understanding the situation or trying to rectify it, I was told by the manager that the service/work had been completed, let us know if you want us to fix it at a later date, pay the invoice. I was offered a free 1-hour appointment to continue to diagnose the problem, but ultimately turned it down as I lacked any confidence in the company at this point. I reached out to them multiple times over the coming weeks, dealing with their customer service person (Danielle, who was actually very understanding and, in my opinion, their most competent employee), hoping to be called back by a manager. No one ever reached out, and after another week of waiting (3+ weeks after the service at this point) I caved and paid the invoice and decided to share my experience. They did, however refund me for the original maintenance plan charge as the maintenance couldn't be completed/tested on the first appointment as the tech wasn't able to start the generator. The best part of the story is this: I was able to contact another service company who came out and simply bled the gas line and had the generator running in less than 10 minutes. It's since had no issue (3+ weeks). As I listen to my dog snoring, I'll recant the wonderful experience with this family owned business at my new apartment in the Northern WI suburbs I moved into a community that has well water and after a few weeks of gastric distress, I realized I needed to put a filter on my sink to reduce the amount of plastic bottles flowing (like the Nile before Moses) out my front door to the recycling dumpster every day. Between my dog and I, we drink about 80- 20 ounce bottles each week. It was getting embarrassing; but we couldn't drink the well water even after boiled it! We just weren't hardy enough! Our poor little citified tummies couldn't take it! I researched and found an undersink mounted filter that my landlord happily approved. However, I'm new in town. While it worked better than tap water, it still left too much residue. The five-gallon bottles are heavy, unwieldy, and nearly impossible to open. Overall, the service is too expensive. It would be cheaper in the long run to have a reverse osmosis system installed. Customer service operators can be rude.
