This truck recently moved to 1030 Piedmont Rd in San Jose near the 7/11. Tonight I had the carne asada super burrito and it was great. The ingredients were fresh and it was a good portion and the price was fair ($13). The burrito could've had a little more meat (I've gotten burritos loaded with meat at other nearby taco stands) but the fresh avocado inside and flavor made up for that. The spicy sauce wasn't really orange in color but was really good. I asked if they had Quesabirrias since I saw them advertised in older pictures and they told me they only make them sometimes. Screw this place! We've been coming here since they opened at the gas station by our house as well as my kids and today they made our all our tacos wrong so I called and the guy says I need to bring them back and he'll make me new ones, but I said we're back at work. We can't leave and he says to save them in the refrigerator and bring them back tomorrow for new ones. I wasn't sure if that's what I heard so I repeated it. He said yes and hung up on me. Well you just lost four good customers. Oh and also my son's whole work across the street got food poisoning from this truck.. so we're probably better off not going there anyway. Good, large burritos. And they have buche, which seems to be pork belly, which is tender and delicious. I came here because I was driving past, I was hungry, I love burritos, and this place has burritos. So basically the plot of Serendipity. Anyway, after ordering and waiting for a long time, I was actually a bit annoyed. I seriously waited 20 minutes for a burrito. With minimal other people. In my head I was thinking "this better be a pretty amazing burrito". And it was! Very large, wrapped well so it didn't fall apart, plenty of meat, and they included some good sauces - the redder one might be a bit spicy for some. The prices are reasonable given the large sizes, the flavors are good, and the location is pretty easy to get to. They also take credit cards. Carne Asada regular burrito was big and filling. However the most surprising is the extremely spicy orange sauce that's just addictive. I tend to get teary eyes when it hits hard yet I couldn't stop. Obviously since this is a taco truck I did miss my salsa bar from the other taqueria near my place yet I prefer their asada over the other place. This is definitely a place I'll return to! Was surprised to see a taco truck here but I'm so glad I stopped by. I was craving tacos and got one asada one al pastor. They wrap your plate with foil and put it in a bag, but I could still smell how fragrant the meat was. YUM. The asada was probably one of the best I've had when comparing to other taco trucks in SJ. I love that it came with a little bit of chips too. We also got spicy salsa but the tacos didn't even need it, they were perfect with some lime on top. It was also super affordable, each taco was $2.75 i believe. The only thing that would make it better are grilled onions! Will be back :-) read more

Tried them for the first time a few days ago. Burrito and nachos were amazing. Staff were friendly. At the time I felt like it took a while to receive the food but I realized now it's because everything was made fresh and food was not sitting around. Completely worth the wait. And a reminder it's not a fast food restaurant. So convenient to stop by and grab dinner after my kids sports event. Ordered asada, pastor, carnitas, cabeza, and lengua taco (I know, it's like a "taco religion-need to try almost the whole menu ), and a Chicken Quesadilla. Big bravo for cabeza taco and quesadilla!
