This was my first time trying this place. My friend recommended and took me here. Don't be scared by the prices, because you get what you pay for. There was huge amounts of seafood on the plates. Definitely can be shared with the huge portions. The place was nice and quaint. My only quarrels and these are not enough to deter me from coming again is maybe a few more lower prices items for smaller eaters and a bit more produce (vegetables/fruits) along with the meals. I do love seafood so no complaints about the amount. I will be back to try another couple of dishes to compare a bit more.

Stopped into Mariscos el Aguachile 8 by Peter's Bakery and I must admit they have some of the best fish tacos I've tried. They serve all seafood dishes (Good to keep in mind for those of you who practice Lent) but hopefully will add an alternative option for others who don't consume seafood. This spot is run by a father and son who originally manned a very popular food truck with 22k followers and have now transitioned to a brick and mortar restaurant. They are new at the restaurant business which is very different from a food truck. We sat ourselves down and waited a long time for someone to acknowledge us. When nobody came after some time we started getting up to leave and go next door to eat and he finally asked if we needed help. So, we stayed and ordered the 3 fish tacos for $25 which were good. However, they are popular for their namesake Aguachiles, which is similar to ceviche but primarily made with shrimp and a very spicy chile-lime "water" (hence the name). Their Aguachile, served in 12 heat levels ranging from a tingling tongue to Scoville screaming hysteria, just might be the spiciest dish in the entire Bay Area and has gained them some notoriety. A rare person can handle Level 12 which has people crying and howling then wondering about their life choices.

First time here & heard good things about this spot & it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, we did wait a little bit but it was so worth the wait! Staff was friendly as well & inside they have good music too! Can't wait to come back!

A fucking fantastic seafood restaurant, and Pepe knows how to provide exceptional customer service. Pepe can prepare anything you want, and the portions are very generous , you'll have to come hungry. The place is clean, and they also have music. 100% recommended.

The best cóctel , to die for level 4

Shrimp and Fish Tacos

The vibes and atmosphere was very lively and exciting! Morever we were able to be seated immediately despite the crowd, and we also got our food after a couple of minutes too. The fish and shrimp tacos were hot and very delicious! Definitely recommend!

10/10 - the food and the service from Pepe the owner and his staff is best in class. Always very attentive and friendly and wants to make sure you leave satisfied and pleased with your meal. You can't go wrong with any dish of your choosing all his food is delicious! And the portions are HUGE! Definitely the best sea food spot in San Jose!

Best seafood in the Bay Area! The service is amazing. Pepe is a really good person always making sure you are satisfied. The place is outdoors but very clean and kick back.

Loved: lengua, tripas, cabeza, and al pastor. Lengua was nice and soft, great with orange or brown sauce. Tripas was chopped up instead of typical tube shaped; was slightly crunchy but amazing flavor. Cabeza tasted good but can be a little fatty. Al pastor was delicious with lots of flavor and a good size chunk of pineapple. Ok: buche and asada. Good but the other meat just outshone them.

Food (3 stars) + Tripa tacos are very delicious. Some places make these crispy. It's not here but still yummy in my tummy. ~ Burritos with carne asada and pastor is pretty good. However wifey got really sick. It's Mother's Day today and she's stuck in bed. I ate 1/4 of her burrito but I'm fine. So not sure how to rate this. Taste is pretty good. We asked for no beans so it's a bit plain but I still enjoyed it. - Gringas is like a quesadilla with pastor. It's alright but not worth $10+. I'd rather get 3 tacos! - Carne asada meat has a nice Smokey flavor. However it's jerky like toughness and a bit dry. - Someone in another review was raving about this place having the best Al pastor. So all of that hype made it a bit of a downer since I find it mid. Service (3 stars) + Typical food truck style ordering but it's more of a trailer. They have a little salsa bar with about 4-5 sauce options. Ambiance (2 stars) - Too many loud cars passing while we're eating. I can barely have a conversation with the wifey not that we have a ton to talk about lol. - No restrooms nearby. Daughter had to use an emergency toilet that we bring. - Terrible parking where people park behind you and you can't get out quickly. Yes, it takes them awhile to realize they're in your way.

So delicious every single time and this time was no different. There's limited parking and you can either order inside or at the taco truck. There are areas to sit and wait for your order and tables to eat at. I ordered three al pastor tacos. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. So good as always. I literally scarfed my tacos down with salsa and grilled onions. My friend ordered a carne asada burrito which he said was super filling and the perfect amount of food. I ordered from the truck, then went into the store to collect my drink, and then came back out to sit in the dining area, where I also collected any sauces I wanted. Definitely need to work for your meal and get your steps in. The condiments and sauces are in a cart with plastic cups with lids provided. There weren't that many options of sauces when I ate here but it was fine. The birrias and lengua tacos were so good. All the tacos came with two small tortillas to hold in the heaping amount of meat. The horchata here is had more cream than I'm used to. Like more milk was added or something, not enough spices or flavors added in IMO. Ordering was easy, I felt rushed, but it was the waiting to hear my number that was difficult. Listening for the number in the dining area while the music was blasting was difficult, so it's better to wait by the truck. Parking is limited but there are always cars coming and going so if you can wait a little, a spot will open up.

I ordered Chole Kulcha, Chili Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Chap, Roomali Roti; Chole Kulcha- I don't have to eat Chole with it. Kulcha itself was very good, crispy and filled with masala. 5 star Chili Chicken- Quality of chicken matters the most. It was very good. 5 star Tandoori Chicken- Quality was great. Juicy, need to eat there only. 5 Star Chap- Need to eat right away. Don't let it wait otherwise it will loose its texture and taste. Taste when it is hot, good mixture of spices and chutneys with it. Onion enhances the flavor of it. 5 Star Roomali Roti- probably the best Roomali roti. Does not matter where they make it. They put butter on it. It does not get chewy or gets dry. 5 Star Sunny and Love they work hard to make it happen. Kudos to them. Noticed, while I was dining, two people came in and expected them to deliver right away and they left. Guys, give them a break, Truck opens at 4:00pm they have to set up the Tandoor it takes time atleast 45 min. To warm up. You can't expect to serve tandoori items right away.

I've had my fair share of tusok-tusok experiences in California and I mean it when I say that I am happy this place opened up. I think prices are pretty fair for a bbq stick in the Bay Area. They carry pork bbq, hot dogs, intestine, kwek-kwek, bettamax, pig ears, etc! Although I wish they had fishball or squid ball for even more variety but thats ok. They provide a marinade to brush on while you grill your own BBQ and provide vinegar and another sweet sauce for you to dip it in post-grilling. Overall, the flavor is really good and you can't really go wrong. They carry other items on the menu in which they serve to you such as sisig, pares, siaomai, empanada (available weekends only), lumpia, melon juice, etc. And yes they have rice! I wish I took pictures of the food we ordered but the kids got to it first while we were bbqing. We went on a Thursday evening so it wasn't too crowded but they still kept the party going with karaoke and music. I could imagine the place being full on weekends. The parking could also get tricky in that area if full too. They take cash, Zelle, and card (with surcharge). The grill is located inside in the center of the restaurant so it gets pretty smoky inside even with all the doors open and vents running. So expect to smell like delicious bbq coming out lol.

Sometimes they provide green tomatillo sauce on top of the traditional orange sauce, which is great for cutting through the grease and cheese as it's tangy and sweet.
