We had an idea of a significant remodel that would be the second one in our home. We talked to several builders including Guy Biggs construction. Guy was straightforward and honest in his approach to the scope and significance of the project. Ultimately after all the talking and consideration we found Guy Biggs to the best choice for us, and what we found as we got into the project, was even better, we knew they were the absolute BEST choice for our remodel. The remodel would ultimately require removal of walls and a complete reconstruction of our downstairs level including the kitchen and laundry room, moving water lines, gas lines, lighting, hvac, flooring, nothing was left untouched! Once the work began, Guy's crew was excellent, they engaged the project with expertise and a level of detail that was reassuring. Our downstairs was a complete construction zone. However Guy's team was always prompt, hard working, respectful of our living space and clean. Remodeling older homes has its share of surprises and we did as well. What we appreciated about Guy and Marius was their appropriate innovation within the scope of the project and in accordance with the plans to find solutions that minimized extra expense. We could not have been happier with their work and the final product, and we have absolutely loved our remodel. Guy Biggs Construction did a whole house remodel for me. A new kitchen, 3 new bathrooms, all new paint and flooring and baseboards. Mark Biggs and his entire crew were fabulous to work with on a daily basis. Mark thought it would take 2 months to finish, and he was exactly right. I visited the site daily and every member of the crew were. polite and hard working. They always greeted me, and stopped to answer any questions I might have at that time. Mark was able to guide through my journey to make the house handicap accessible for the future. The quality of all the work from the floors, to the tile work, to the painting of the entire house, showed quality and a pride of workmanship. The counter top fabricators did a fantastic job of matching the grain of the quartsite, and the seams are almost invisible. Mark, and his second in command, Todd Buys, always went above and beyond. They changed light bulbs in high ceilings, took down a broken outdoor ceiling fan, and changed a leaking outdoor hose bib. I consider Mark and his entire team to be my friends, and I would gladly work with them again. I highly recommend them. read more

Project Price Range: $50,000 - $100,000 Where do we begin to express our gratitude and thanks to Guy Biggs and his entire team. They exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier. Guy estimated 6 weeks to remodel our entire home, it took 5 weeks! The crew was professional, punctual, friendly, organized, quality driven, and paid very close attention to detail. They definitely take pride in their work and are true craftsmen. Our newly remodeled home is absolutely beautiful!! We whole heartily recommend Guy Biggs Construction. In addition, our hot water heater went out recently. It was not part of our remodel. We called Guy. He offered to get someone out the same day we called. Since it was late in the day, we were willing to wait till the next day. The next morning a new hot water heater and stand we're installed. Going above and beyond is in Guy's nature. The Biggs Team recently completed a remodel of our family room. Guy was very helpful at the onset with ideas and suggestions. We got a few quotes and Guy was priced right in my opinion. We went with them on the basis of their competitive pricing and the fact that we had them do our bathroom remodel a few years ago and were very happy with the results. Mark and Rene were major factors in the success of this remodel. Especially Mark who was very helpful in suggesting ideas on how to tweak this or that to make it work or look better. They were willing to take the time to explore options and make sure we were comfortable with the results. The key was that they did not nickel and dime us with additional costs for small changes and improvements to the original scope. When we did have a couple of bigger changes, they revised the estimate very fairly and reasonably. We are happy with the remodel and based on our two experiences, we would recommend them to potential customers. We would not hesitate to work with them again. read more

Guy Biggs Construction remodeled our kitchen in May, 2012. He came up with a new floor plan that was much more functional with additional storage, and he was able to stay within our budget. Guy and his crew worked from day one until the job was complete 4 weeks later, they were professional, clean, informative, honest and friendly. We did end up with a problem with our flooring that required it to be replaced, and Guy was to replace it at his own expense. However, when the floor was pulled up, it was discovered that there was moisture under the flooring, so we had to choose a different material to replace the floor with. We replaced the floor with porcelain tile, and Guy offered to do all the labor with no cost to us, we only had to pay for materials. He was under no obligation to do that for us, but that is just how Guy is, very honest and compassionate. I would strongly recommend Guy Biggs Construction for all your remodeling needs, you won't regret your decision. read more

Is there a way to give more than 5 stars? We can't recommend them enough! This past year Guy and his crew have helped us with a variety of home remodeling projects such as tearing out walls to open up a space, updating our kitchen cabinets with beautiful refacing, a couple bathroom remodels, and lots of beautiful lighting. Guy and Marius gave attention to detail and went the extra mile to make sure every project was done well and with the least amount of dust and mess! I value their opinions as they were helpful in making decisions and honest and upfront about cost and work needed. Skilled, creative, quick to respond, extremely helpful and they just do beautiful work. Then add to that being a crew of people you just enjoy having in your home-they are that nice! Guy Biggs Construction completed a room addition for my home and did an excellent job. The room looks like it is part of the original house, as desired. Guy does not do all of the work himself, but he seems to know the talented people in the area who do quality work. Guy went out of his way to stay within the estimated cost, even after some problems and added items, and he was very responsive to phone calls and questions. The only negatives were that he could do better with informing the customer about work schedules. Also, he was slow to correct some minor accidental damage that was done by a worker, but he did finally get the issue resolved. read more

Guy and his team were exactly what we were looking for. He worked with us from planning our space with a designer to helping us make it a reality in our home.
