Properly aged European cheeses should have complex, nutty, earthy flavors -- not a harsh ammonia taste or smell. This has happened multiple times now. One of the biggest issues is that everything is prepackaged in plastic, so you cannot properly smell or assess the cheese before buying it. You only discover the problem once you get home and open the package. A good cheese counter should allow customers to smell or sample cheeses, especially imported and aged varieties.

COVID Measures: staff have masks on and there are dividers at the register with markings on the floor to stay 6ft apart. No hand sanitizer available, and it was definitely more crowded than it should have been. Overall best local place to get your fruits and veggies.
