Enjoyed my first visit here today. The deli is inside Kelly's Westport Inn. You can order at a sidewalk window also. My wife and I shared the 3 meat sandwich and meatball sandwich. Both sandwiches were very tasty and decent sized. A bag of chips came with the order. The food was ready within 10 minutes. Prices were too high for deli sandwiches though.

What a cool place to visit! Stopping in for a quick lunch my wife and I were the only people in the building while we ordered and ate. The whole building is long with a nice bar upfront and an ordering window in back. The food was made quickly and the meat was so juicy and delicious it melts the bread. Full disclosure your hands are gonna get dirty eating these sandwiches and you'll be okay with it. Sliding through for a quick bite while shopping my wife and I enjoyed the entire feel of this place. It's almost like having a school lunch if your school serves the best sandwiches ever and the lunch ladies were fun loving men. After eating my sandwich I was ready to either shop all day or take a nap. You won't walk away feeling hungry from this place unless you try!!

My second time at Guy's Deli and Pizza in Kelly's Westport Inn! The place is nice and long because of how they are connected. Joe's Meat Pie, Guy's Dill Dough pickle pizza, Reuben sandwich with a side of a pickle spear and Guy's chips, and Pizza bones were delicious. Worth trying this place! Will come back again for more!

Growing up in Liberty one couldn't not have a connection to Guy's Chips. I remember going to the grand opening tour of the new large Potato Chip factory in the 70's right behind my great aunts house (she refused to sell her property) and hearing stories of my Grandparents restaurant and bar in the 1930's and '40's having a glass jar that Guy Caldwell himself would come around and refill with potato chips that he made in his kitchen. Guy's was the only brand of chips we brought home and they have been a lifelong favorite even when they were bought out and shut down for a period. I was eager to check out their first retail location inside of Kelly's in Westport. They are carrying on the Joe's Pizza by the Slice tradition with the same recipes and have added deli style sandwiches. Today I went with a childhood favorite sandwich that they call the PB&J Crunch. Peanut Butter and grape jelly with crumbled Guy's BBQ potato chips in-between 2 slices of Farm To Market Bread and griddled to perfection. It comes with a side bag of additional Guy's chips and a pickle spear to really up the Wow or OMG factor. The hot oozing PB, with sweet jelly and crunchy chips certainly kicked the childhood nostalgia into overdrive. Eager to return for some pizza soon.

I love that you just walk up and order at the window. The ordering process was super easy. They text you when your food is ready. I couldn't resist eating the green onion chips before I got my sandwich. I will add this to one of my weekly stops. It was really good.

    Grabs you a sandwich!

Excellent Pastrami super nice people. Sub the marble rye for sourdough it's worth it. BBQ chips haven't changed since the 80s. Consistently good. I was referred there by Tubby the Tuba who is a famous champion eater who used to date Joey Chestnutt not Joey Fatone. Anyhow totally recommend!

Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and our food came out quickly. I ordered a turkey club while my dad got one as well, and unfortunately we both had the same issue. The turkey was on the dry side, and it was sliced much thicker than I personally prefer. I tend to like a thinner deli-style sliced turkey, so it just wasn't my favorite sandwich. My mom ordered one of the salads though, and honestly it looked better than my sandwich. It was loaded with fresh toppings, and she said the ranch was excellent. If I come back, I'd probably skip the sandwich altogether and give one of the salads a try. Overall, I can definitely appreciate what they're going for. The prices are fantastic, honestly unheard of in present day, and that's the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3. It's a true local spot, and I wouldn't mind giving it another chance to try something different from the menu.

Shrimp & Sausage Boil: A stew of shrimp, sausage, and corn. The ingredients were of very good quality; the shrimp were firm and fresh, and there were over a dozen in one serving. The sausage had a rich smoky flavor, and the corn was sweet and juicy. The seasoning was basic garlic butter, with black pepper to remove any fishy smell and enhance the aroma, resulting in a subtle creamy flavor overall. Mashed Potatoes with Gravy: The mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy with a distinct buttery aroma. Unfortunately, the gravy was a bit too salty. Mixed Vegetables: Purely boiled vegetables, completely unseasoned, too bland. I used them to dip the mashed potatoes, which made it absolutely better. Fried Chicken Tender: Scalding hot. Although the crisp wasn't crispy enough, it was still very aromatic.

Let's start with the stars: * Hot Pastrami Sandwich (10/10) - This is exactly what a pastrami sandwich should be. Thick-cut, fresh, perfectly seasoned, incredibly moist, and piled high. Every bite was packed with flavor without feeling heavy. * Meatball Sandwich (10/10) - This completely caught me off guard. The meatballs were tender and flavorful, the sauce was outstanding, and everything came together perfectly. One of those sandwiches that immediately makes you start planning your next visit. * Potato Salad (10/10) - I have genuinely never had potato salad like this before. It's difficult to even describe because it doesn't compare to the typical deli or barbecue versions most people know. All I know is I'll be grabbing another side before I leave town. And then there was the surprise of the day: * Cowtown Pizza Slice (10/10) - We originally got this to go after seeing pizza after pizza come out of the kitchen and deciding we had to know what the hype was about. The slice was HUGE, the crust was fantastic, and the flavor was incredible. Honestly, it might be the best pizza I've had to date. Even after an already amazing meal, this completely held its own. Beyond the food, Milwaukee Delicatessen Company has the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Great sandwiches, great beer, historic surroundings, and the feeling that you've stumbled upon a local favorite that's been doing things right for a long time. If you're a sandwich person, this place is non-negotiable.

The ground sausage was plentiful and flavorful with a nice fine grind which I love. The sauce was delicious and the crust was perfection. I also had the salmon BLT (taking half home). The salmon was hot, juicy, and nicely cooked, along with very delicious bacon. I loved everything on the sandwich and the bread was perfectly toasted. I had a passion project cocktail, and it was good. Now, let me tell you, the top thing I fell in love with was the coleslaw. I realize how strange of an item that is to point out. But if a place serves coleslaw, I'm going to be tempted to try it just so I can figure out all the ways my own is better. I am surprised to say, this one measures up! It's balanced with the perfect amount of dressing, which is vinegar based yet slightly creamy, and not sweet. It's not over-dressed. It's not under-dressed. It's perfectly dressed. The celery seed flavor comes through mildly, just as one would hope. The veggies are fresh and crisp. Bravo for an exceptional side dish!!! If you like a nice savory coleslaw, be sure to try this one. If you like soggy overly dressed cabbage swimming in a sugar solution, you won't recognize these vegetables. We will be back.

It's an a super old building and I would classify it as a dive bar. Street parking is available. They do have bar seat, some indoor seating, and a fairly large outdoor patio area. Everything was clean and the service was excellent and everyone was friendly. They offer beer, wine, and soft drinks. I stuck with beer because they have Guinness on tap and I won't pass that up. Prices for drinks are extremely reasonable. The sandwiches are fantastic. I went with Bob's Italian sub: salami, ham, turkey, lettuce, tomato, onion, American and provolone cheese, dressing, on a steamed Italian roll. I opt for double the meat which made the sandwich a whopping 10 ounces. Did I need to double it? No, but I like a giant sandwich and I have no regrets. The sandwich itself was delicious, I liked the combination and I would definitely order it again and highly recommend it. With the double meat the price was $12.95. All of the prices were well under what you normally see and is a welcome reprieve from $20 burgers and sandwiches without sides. They offer regular deli type sides but I went for a bag of pickles because who doesn't love a bag of pickles? They have other sandwich options including vegetarian and build your own. Definitely worth stopping in to have a Sammy and a brew. I'll be going back for sure!

I originally ordered the Muffaletta and was excited to try it since I moved here from NOLA a couple of years back but it's pre-made and the bread can't be toasted which is my preference so I changed to the KC Rueben which is $12.95 for the sandwich with no side. I chose not to add a side for extra cost. I also requested it with no 100O island dressing because I do not like it. It was good. The burnt ends were flavorful and I like that the slaw is vinegar based and not overly sweet. It can on tasted deli sz bread cut in half. I wasn't very hungry so I only ate half and saved the other half. It is not a great sandwich to save because it was not great as a leftover. Too squishy. There's not a large amount of burnt ends and with a small tip and tax (I just got water), I spent about $17. I think I will probably try something else next time.
