Very friendly & attentive staff, & very clean inside. They also have brunch on weekends. All the menu items are things that, in theory, I wld love to eat. Our party was all very excited by the menu & our dishes we chose. Reality set in once the food came. Quality of food was not great, & portions also not great, but prices also not cheap. I don't know if they need better recipes, or better quality ingredients? The food def. needs something, though. I feel badly - someone, or someones, obv spent alot of $$$ on the build-out of this place. You can't spend all your money on the interior & exterior tho, & ignore the food! We were in the mood for some burgers so a check of Yelp showed this restaurant was nearby and the reviews seemed good. Was a little wary that it mentioned new owners, but figured let's try it out. Got a little confused on the front as they share half the building with an Asian Hibachi restaurant. Parking was right as we wound up parking on the far side. Walked in and were seated pretty quick. Notices that it seemed the majority of their business was thru takeout. Since there was a steady stream of customers coming in to pick up their orders. Our server was friendly and quick to come by. We ordered our drinks and needed some more time to decide what kind of burger to get. They came back and took our order. While we were waiting, I kept looking around as it seemed like the dining area was kind of small. Confirming this, it seems they have maybe 10 tables for dining. I wondered what kind of wait people would have if it was busy. But it seemed the turnaround time was quick. Burgers were juicy and good. Fries were crispy and enjoyable. Excellent food, large venue. Have phenomenal burgers as well as chicken sandwiches. I tend to create my own which they will plus lots of different fried choices. They also have delicious wings. My favorite are the Thai chili and their nachos are amazing. Also good for large groups. We've gone there in small groups but also with groups of 10-8 people. They disregard what the menu says that you will receive and that is pretty infuriating since it happens repeatedly especially after making a special request to not forget a specific thing. Our party of 7 with varying tastes all came away from meals of great food and drink. The autumn ale selections warranted a flight, from the sweet donut to the balanced pumpkin IPA. The apple cider margaritas put a great twist on a traditional favorite. The entrees around the table included a variety of burgers, the turkey burger, and kids menu offerings. All were tasty and well prepared. The fries were great all around, with the truffle-topped fries especially good. The onion rings were voted best of all, though. Service was efficient and accurate with good suggestions and comfortable banter from the server. The restaurant was fairly quiet, as it was the last hour of the day. The bar is fully stocked and clientele is very friendly as are the bartenders. There is a patio also for the summer use. I stopped by between 530pm-535pm to pickup an order and politely asked the host or whomever you had at the front giving out pickup orders about the menu..She was not polite or friendly at all had a rude attitude over a menu. It does not matter if I was asking for the business hours. You are the face of the business. The staff should always polite at all times whenever someone asked a question. Wow..just wow. I'm just going to say right now, do NOT spend your time or your money here because both are better spent elsewhere. I suppose if a place has that many reviews and it's a solid 3 star in Yelp that should tell you something but raw burgers, warm salads, stale bread, cold soup and no place to change a crying baby with a dirty diaper are not 3 stars in my book. Like, who doesn't have changing tables in their restaurant bathrooms these days??? We had to put my poor niece on the FLOOR to change her safely because the counter was not large enough to accommodate the diaper bag and a wriggling infant. And apparently we were not the only ones with this issue as there was a waitress in the bathroom with us when this went down and she stated to us that she had brought the changing table concern to the owner/manager's attention SEVERAL times and it fell on deaf ears. Slightly disappointed, we have been here before and had a great time. Tonight we got there about 7 pm, we expected to wait. I got in line to give our name. The hostess was overwhelmed by the small line of people. She looked right at me and went to the woman behind me then walked away and came back asking if I was helped, Um no! So she takes my name we wait about 10 minutes which is great. We are seat for about 15-20 minutes no waitress. So we ask the other hostess for a server. She says "Oh we're slammed". Really that's what you tell your customers?? So we wait a few more minutes. And we finally get a waitress. We order our drink I ordered a rum and Diet Coke. I got a Diet Coke. We order our food at the same time in fear she wouldn't come back. We order nachos with no jalapeño and pico on the side. The nachos came with jalapeños. The food came out very soon after. the lump crab burger was delicious, the Kobe burger, wedge salad with a burger good but not cooked correctly and AJus also delicious. Our waitress only came back once for drinks and didn't clear the table. Never saw her again until she gave us the check while she was asking if we wanted dessert. Again, food was great but the service tonight poor at best. I think a little better structure would help with the overwhelmed hostess and wait staff issues. read more

Oh where to begin.......... La Luna was closed (a pipe broke or something) so friend suggested GW's. We arrived right after they opened at noon, and we were one of the only people there besides 3 other parties. We were promptly sat and had never been there before so needed some time with the menu. The waitress whisked over quickly asked if we had been there, then didn't offer anything in regards to explaining specials or the menu, and just said "lmk if you need anything..." uhhh ok? So we all ordered FO soup, which was actually quite delish. The cheese was not fully melted, but I don't complain. The actual taste was nice and had plenty of onions and was not salty. Hubs ordered a grilled bbq burger, our friends ordered the monte cristo, and the prime time burger. All of them came with a very small "basket" of French fries. For the price of the burger, they shouldn't be so skimpy w/ the fries. Everybody said the burgers were good, but nothing that distinguishes them from each other. I ordered the Greek Salad, and the bowl itself was big, but the actual salad was so tiny for a lunch portion, it looked more like an appetizer. The price is steep for what you are given. There are a few reasons for the 2 star review. 1= Burgers lack any real type of spice/seasoning 2=Price you pay, you would think you get more fries.... 3=The waitress. Do not get me wrong, she was decent- but checked up on us so many times, in an effort to rush us out. We were sitting and chatting for about 20 minutes after eating- and she kept coming back again and again after dropping the check in order to see if we were ready to pay. We felt rushed and didn't like the fact that she made us feel like we were taking up valuable real estate in her section...when nobody else was even coming in. We ordered all of the above, with only 2 drinks (soft drinks) and the total bill was $92.00!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not so sure why all the other reviews for this place are so poor...I came with a group of about 13 on Friday night and we had a great time. I would have given this place 5 stars but their martinis needed some help. Granted martinis are suppose to be strong, but the hibiscus one tasted like rubbing alcohol. I had the Greek burger and it was on the naan bread, very tasty, medium well and cooked just as I asked. Truffle fries were nice too. My husband had the Kobe burger, medium, and his came how he wanted it too. (Unlike a bunch of other reviews that theirs don't come how they wanted them) We also had 2 orders of candied bacon at the table and two orders of pickle peppers. The pepper people said they loved theirs. The bacon orders weren't consistent. One order came out kind of burnt and not (candied)...the other order further down the table looked better. I was surprised to see some of the negative reviews for this place. I've been here twice and both times have had a good experience. On both occasions, I ordered the Greek burger which was cooked as I ordered it and wasn't drowning in tzatziki sauce. The fries were a perfect portion and nice and crispy. Also on each occasion, I had a different server but have no complaints with the service. They were both attentive and friendly and brought drink refills without having to ask. My only complaint for this trip would be that we ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer and they were extremely greasy but that wouldn't deter me from returning again. read more

I decided to stop here for lunch today. I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup, a side of homemade potato chips along with an appetizer. I was really craving the tomato soup. However, it tasted more like marinara sauce then tomato soup, other than that, the food was decent. One thing I did not like was i was immediately seated in the bar instead the dining area. The bar is very small and frankly uncomfortable. My server was very nice. She made some good recommendations and was very pleasant. overall, I feel that the prices are a little too high. I left the restaurant spending over 30 dollars just for lunch which is frankly way too expensive for my taste. This restaurant is in nice location. The hamburger was as good as I have heard. It's was cooked exactly as I asked. The French fries were excellent, nice and crispy. The nachos with cheese and chicken were some of the best I ever had. The bar tender was also our waiter so the service was a little slow but if that's the only down side it's okay. Parking might be a little tight when they are busier. Over it was a good experience. Probably one of my favorite restaurants that is local to me. I came here on a Sunday afternoon, with my mom and her friend and was politely greeted by the host. I did not know that one of my high school friends works at this restaurant. He was so happy to see me and delivered amazing service. The Cobb salad here is definitely one to try. It's delicious filled with everything you would get on a salad. I also recommend the grilled romaine with Sriracha sauce and steak tips! Amazing dish!! I came here a few other times and personally requested my friend because he delivers such great service. Everyone on this team at this restaurant is friendly, and fun! You definitely would want to come here on a night out with friends or perhaps a date! I really can't say anything bad about this place because I never had a bad experience here. We unexpectedly had a sitter (rare for us) and were looking for a place to watch then NFL playoff game that wasn't a dive/sports bar. We sat in the bar. The view of the TVs were good. There seemed to be some confusion over who was serving us. It did take a while to get our order in (my guess was, day bar and night bar were in the process of switching over). The wings were great, and so was all the food. My other half got a burger, which was perfectly cooked, and I had the French dip. It would have been 5 stars, except: service was a bit slow at times (took a while to check out), the bar dining room floor was a bit dirty (napkins, etc), but other than that, the food was good and the service was okay.
