Huge and well-organized market specializing in Asian food and general merchandise. The store offers a wide selection of fresh seafood, meats, fruits, vegetables, and everything else under the sun. Conveniently located inside the Haven City food court, there are two entrances to enter this market. Prices were very reasonable, and the service provided by the employees was excellent, with friendly cashiers.

GW Supermarket is located in the same plaza with Haven City. You can walk into the grocery store from inside the food hall. Plenty of parking in the parking lot out front, but can get tricky during peak lunch hours. They have a great selection of seafood, meat, vegetables, snacks that you'd expect for an Asian grocery market. My favorite read seeing the exotic produce, including banana flowers, fresh tumeric, and ngo om (a tangy, edible vegetable). I also got a small Napa cabbage here for around $1 per pound. The candies and drinks section is very exciting. I got a great canned grass jelly drink for $1.85 and the peelable banana candy for around $4. I didn't interact much to get a deep sense of the service besides during check-out, which was seamless. Overall, I think this is a great place to get groceries and a unique snack.

Market looked clean and well sorted. Found what I was looking for it being my first time. The reason for the 2 starts is because the cashiers are rude and don't speak at all, and/ or speak English. I felt, because I wasn't their kind that they didn't need to speak, I believe if you are going to live here and work where you are going to interact with people, you would speak the language and be hospitable. Poor customer Stevie from cashiers. Will go back to other Asian market, even if it's further.

This is a treasure chest of flavor with every aisle an adventure. It is a vibrant and lively market. Exotic fruits here, bold chip flavors there - this just proves potato chips can be more exciting than you average salt flavor because what!?! wasabi and kimchi chips exist! Came here just for the lychee and ended up in every aisle, planning my next trip back where I can have my complete ingredient list for hot pot night? ramen night? Lo mein, oh my night! The amount of fresh ingredients, frozen ingredients, ingredients I could not even read, the magic is real here! This just became my Disneyland, less kids, more food, win win. The ultimate playground for snacks and conveniently connected to the new Haven City Market. Lines were busy but moving fast. Worth a visit despite the struggle of parking.

The staff was very welcoming to me since I came in during lunch time and explained the combo plate options and costs. I ended up ordering the 2 item plate with Chicken Tikka Masala & chick pea curry with my choice of the garlic naan. Staff mentioned she was going to make a fresh batch so I waited inside the store. The food was ready in a few minutes and the aromas of the curries and garlic naan were radiating. It smelled so delicious. I ate my lunch there and it was very satisfying. The tasted very good and I cleaned that plate easily! The fresh garlic naan was simply the best to dip with the curries. I loved the crispy exterior and soft interior of the dough. Overall, I'd return again to have another lunch in the future. Thanks, India Fresh for the hospitality. ( ^_^)b

I've ate Indian food for more than 2 decades, I've lived around the Foothills most of my life but I…read morenever tried this place until yesterday. Loved it! It's simple, unassuming, restaurant attached to a grocery store, who knew. Went in, stomach was hurting from the previous day but as soon as I had it, I was happy. Also, the Chicken Tikka Masala gravy, absolutely fell in love with it. There was a place in Fullerton that I used to go to, Curry Hut, and I would get the same thing over and over again. Chicken Tikka Masala and Goat Curry, it reminded me of that. I went to an Indian restaurant recently, "All India Cafe," and I was not happy. I still need to leave them a review but the flavors were dulled down and I look at the reviews and people love it "All India Cafe." I'm going to assume something but "All India Cafe" probably caters to local tastes. I like this place because I can taste the intensity of the flavors, this place is called India Food & Spices and they don't shy away from the flavor. That's what I wanted, and that's what I got. Really nice service, feels very inviting. The guy asked if I wanted the sauce on the rice and I said "no," but that was a mistake. If he asks, say "yes." They served it on paper plates and some of the sauces get absorbed into the plate but I kept trying to squeeze it back out for more. So I had the 2 entree combo, (Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, Rice, and Chapati). Chicken Tikka Masala Very very flavorful sauce, big pieces of chicken but chicken little on the dry side. Not atypical from Indian cuisine to have dry chicken in chicken tikka masala but I sometimes would like a choice of dark meat than white meat? Can't get enough of that sauce though. Creamy, rich, blend of spices, like a creamy tomato bisque with a lot of seasoning. Goat Curry Meat falling off the bone and flavorful sauce, some pieces were extra bony but not atypical of Indian food. Think of a beef texture with a little more gamy taste. Absolutely wonderful. Rice It's not a biryani but it's colored with a small tinge of yellow. Standard rice, can't complain. Chapati Tasted good from what I remembered, also pretty standard. I don't know how anyone could mess this up but flavorful and satisfying like a slightly puffed up tortilla. Surprisingly though, I do notice naan differences at various Indian places. Papadam I took one bite and it was bursting with tasty delight. Crispy and sprinkles of what looks like cumin seeds throughout. Side of yogurt It was tart, and acted like a palate cleanser for me, I would dip some of the chapati and papadam every so often into it. Pickled onion chutney There were slices of connected onions that were pickled. I didn't hate it but I wasn't a huge fan. There was a lot of it, I didn't finish it. This place was great, you can tell from the crowd, it feels and taste authentic. I feel like other Indian restaurants dilute the flavors to match the local tastes. Or sometimes I try to compare their buffet curries with their al la carte and it sometimes feels lessened. I will need to try this place several more times but so far they got a return customer.

First time I went, it was never explained to me that the desserts were by the pound. I just wanted a few pieces and was told I had to get a box. Which ended up being pricey. This time when I went, there was a young gentleman there and he explained it was by pound, how much it was per pound, and about how many pieces I'd get per pound. He was so nice that I decided I wanted to get some food too! I got the 3 item non veg combo with chicken tika, curry goat and spinach paneer. It comes with a drink too!!!! I chose the mango lassi. Guy asked if I wanted plain or garlic naan and he also told me garlic naan would be extra charge. I love how he was so up front with everything! Chicken tika- yummy! Goat curry-tasty without the gamey-ness. Spinach paneer- home run!! That cheese!!! Garlic naan- bread so soft and so garlicky! Mango lassi- smooth and creamy with real mango taste! Jalebi- 1000%!

Plenty of parking but the plaza can get quite busy because all of the businesses and eateries located within. Market itself is well lit and I think just a smidge more organized than Island Pacific though it is a bit smaller. All of the uncs post outside and hang outside this market though. Chowking has an entrance into the market and of course it has it's hot deli section, seafood and butcher section, good amount of fresh produce and lots of imported Filipino foods, cooking goods, cosmetics, and other items. Cashiers are pretty friendly even with a slight language barrier and I've never had to wait too long every time I've shopped here. It's a bustling shopping center, so parking can be a real headache. think musical chairs, but with cars. Once inside, you'll notice the aisles are about as wide as a handshake! seriously, it's like playing bumper carts with your shopping cart. But, the star of the show is their fresh produce. So many tropical fruit-galore! You can get papaya, all sorts of bananas, jackfruit, basically a mini vacation for your taste buds. They've also got a fresh meat section, plus an Asian snacks corner that's like a treasure chest of goodies, perfect if you're hunting for that unique bite. And let me tell you, some of their offerings are downright wild; like chicken heads and legs you won't see anywhere else, plus packaged beef and pork blood!!! yep, blood in a grocery store! I'm not exactly sure what to do with it, but it sure is a conversation starter. And speaking of interesting finds, they've got all kinds of liver; beef, chicken, pork. I grabbed a few things, including some fresh fish, which they'll clean for you, though, if you want a full fillet, forget it. They'll just chop off the head and tail, maybe scale it, but no fancy filleting here. All in all, I'd give this place a three stars. It's not the cleanest spot, let's just say the whole store smells like a seafood market at low tide. And with only two cashiers, you might feel like you're aging in line. But if you're on the hunt for those rare ingredients and don't mind a little chaos, it's worth a visit!
