Got some frozen samosas... they were all ruined in the box. Also, some items are pricey. I prefer the other Indian store in Diamond Bar.

A very clean indian grocery store. You can pretty much anything you want without going to the Artesia. Good customer service as well.

3.5 stars Funnily…read moreenough, I never knew that there was an H Mart in Chino, or rather existed in-between Sam's Club and Kohls! I visit this plaza often due to Sam's Club, but rarely drive in the plaza towards Kohls so I was surprised when my friend told me the other week. I needed to head to both Kohls and Sam's Club for errands and stopped by H Mart to grab a few items. I am spoiled by the H Mart in Diamond Bar (DB), so I was expecting something along the same lines but it was a bit different in this location. It is cleaner but some of the produce and fruit were not as fresh as the DB location. Also, there was an entire fridge aisle of alcohol drinks! That sure was a sight to see, since I do not ever recall seeing that in the DB location, or at least not that close to the entrance, let alone across from the produce and fruit. We did see a worker throwing out prepared food, so they must be clearing out already prepared food halfway through the day or something because we were surprised as it was still early afternoon. We do not recommend purchasing the prepped sweet potato here as they are dry and hard, not as fresh as the DB location. We were able to find what we needed and were on our way. The lines to the cashier are very short so it is convenient, as compared to the lines at the DB location, along with the always busy parking lot. This location is a bit smaller than others and also a bit pricier, probably due to the location. Overall, it is convenient if one is in the area and need a few items, but this would not be my main H Mart to shop at.

I love the ready-to-go meals. I hate that my wallet cries every single time I walk through those doors. And yet, here I am. But here's the thing -- they never skimp on quality, and that's what keeps dragging me back like a moth to an overpriced flame. Those roast beef sandwiches are still $4.99, and at this point, that price tag alone deserves a standing ovation. In this economy? Iconic. Their uni puts every other Asian market I've tried to absolute shame -- no contest, don't even argue with me on this one. The real MVPs of the store, though? The soup noodles and sushi rolls. Genuinely elite. And don't even get me started on the drink selection -- if it came from Japan and you can't pronounce it, they probably have it. As for the meat section -- surprisingly solid. Most cuts were quality grade, which, given the prices, is the bare minimum they could do. At least they're holding up their end of the deal. Will I be back? Obviously. Do I need therapy for it? Possibly.

Easy ti make for anytime meal. It wasn't on sale, but I still grab it for convenience. They took out the section for apparel, too bad! I used to buy their cute T-shirts and hoodies. I had a feeling they may no longer carry this peanut brand in the future. Not sure why though... Auntie Lui's is a good brand. Anyway, other than our peanut run, we normally don't shop here. It's like one of those... let's check and see if they carry the item kinda thing. My parents used to shop here back in the 1980's and 1990's so they have been around. It's an older supermarket... they could get a facelift on the place. Give them a try when you're in the Montclair or Pomona area. The staff were not friendly at all, especially a young male employee who appeared to be around his mid-20s. He was extremely rude and disrespectful toward my family, which made the visit very uncomfortable. The store also did not appear to be well maintained. The place looked dirty, and I noticed several items on the shelves that were expired but still being sold. That raised serious concerns about cleanliness and quality control. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves both their customer service and store conditions.

They came highly recommended by a friend and I can see why in my first bite! I have had the pleasure to try their Curry Chicken Bowl $13 (Lunch Special), Jerk Bowl $13 (Lunch Special), Jerk Burrito $13.50, and a Curry Chicken "Mama's Pattie" $4.50. My favorites have got to be their Curry Chicken Bowl and I'll order this time and time again. Its just a staple. It has a great kick to it and has a complex blend of spices that is layed with a smoky, savory, and sweet undertone. I keep taking bites just to experience the flavors over and over again. Their Jerk Burrito is also the first I've tried and another dish I'd order again. It has their spicy, smoky Jamaican jerk chicken with rice, beans, wraped in a tortilla and everything comes together nicely. Their prices are great for their portion size, too! I've visited here with a group of coworkers and friends, and we always have a great time. I've even brought dishes home to my fiancé, and he has asked me ever over and over again to bring more dishes home for him if I'm in the area, since they are just that good! The people here are all so friendly and have such a warm light they bring to the world and their space. Ever since I've visited, I've been going every week and have been telling all my friends it's a must-try destination on 2nd street. I can't wait to go back. I am a loyal customer now!

Chicken was soooo tender and had a smoky flavor to it. The cabbage was seasoned well and rice was cooked perfectly. Mac and cheese plate was super weak in my opinion - I was expecting the Mac and cheese you get at a back yard bbq. Lacked in cheese and flavor. Some edges had a nice cheese pull but for the most part it was just a lot of noodle. Would have loved to enjoy it with the short ribs per their advertisement - but they had ran out so we got some crispy wings. Portion is big - not sure on the how much it was though, as the menu wasn't priced. I would advise to pair your meal with one of their house-made specialty juices if you don't get a ginger beer! I had their pineapple-ginger, a Jamaican staple and goes so well with their cuisine. oh. GET THE PATTY. If all else fails, get the damn Jamaican patty. Beef and curry chicken are my favs. All of the patties are crispy, Flaky, and buttery. I was pleasantly surprised to know that these are the same patties served to you at none other than Simply Wholesome, in LA. A grand staple for the community. Savanna, helped us out for the evening and she was lovely and helpful! Would come back just for the customer service itself.

The store is a bit small, but it's nice to see the selection of imported Taiwanese goods. It's around the time for Mid Autumn Festival so they had discounts of several different kinds of moon cakes which is neat. I'm only one person so I didn't partake, but if you have family and a lot of people to gift, this might be a great deal to take a look at. Staff are super nice and friendly, welcoming too and made lots of suggestions during my visit. Grab a basket as well if you are going to make a lot of purchases. I LOVE the little photo op they have in the front. The Formosan black bear holding the boba milk tea is super cute. Definitely take photos if you can. They also have other deals and specials there too, like a slight discount if you purchase the whole box of bottled drinks and more. Selection varies from refrigerated and frozen items (like fish, neat!), snacks, sauces, candies (I love the herbal candies, great for the throat), cookies, canned goods, drinks (the bigger box milk teas are yummy), and much more. I mainly went there since my friend got a new fancy toaster and I remember seeing imported Taiwanese garlic spread and condensed milk type sweet spread and thought it would be a great gift to get. Also saw the Science Noodle snack. The wizard on the bag always reminds me of my grandpa so I got one of those as well. Make sure to sign up for their membership program. Goods are a bit pricier than most, but not many places sell goods directly from Taiwan. As others mentioned, it was very clean and have a good selection. There are plenty of parking near the store, especially since Big Lots has closed years ago.

They don't really offer much customer service here, especially if you don't speak Mandarin. I have witnessed customers struggling to get help from the non-English speaking Staff.
