Great pricing for the quality and convenience. Overall, love their sushi selection, and it's a regular stop for us. As for the market itself, there's not as much to buy, and pricing is on the higher end. The cashier didn't even bother asking us whether she had scanned it yet or checked the register to see if it was already in the system. She just assumed that we didn't place it on the conveyor belt and were trying to steal it. My sister and I knew for certain that she scanned it twice, so when we checked the receipt - LOW AND BEHOLD, there it is. The item appears twice on our receipt. The cashier was ringing up items for other customers and clearly saw us waiting at the end, but completely ignored us. We were obviously standing there and holding up the line, but she still chose to ignore us and didn't bother to ask us if there was anything wrong or why we hadn't left yet. After about 5 minutes, I finally grabbed her attention, and she didn't even apologize or admit her mistake. She just continued to ignore us as if we weren't there. Another staff member had to help me out and reverse the charge. Ridiculous. Why are people like this? What's the purpose of being rude and disrespectful to other people? The barcodes matched so we escalated to someone more knowledgeable since the cashier didn't want to do anything. After 5-10 mins someone finally came up and said that's the price on the tag and they had to honor it. Took a lot of effort and basically the blamed corporate/headquarters for changing the prices and them not updating their tags. Not sure how that makes sense, but that's their reasoning.
