We inquired directly with CD for our date and time and she guided us thru the booking process. There was a last minute mixup but CD made every effort to offer us a successfull party....and CD definitely delivered. On the day of our party, we arrived early to a wonderful birthday party setup in the outdoor back patio, decorated nook and and an intimate upstairs studio for our party guests. To be honest, the setup she provided was exactly how we prefer. We were able to bring in and display our offerings for our guests and the parents enjoyed themselves hanging outside while the kids roamed around and enjoyed their painting session upstairs in the studio. CD and her team did an amazing job in making sure our party was a success! You can not go wrong when it comes to art and we were right to go with CD's Art Studio! She said the teacher was on their way and I don't believe there is a teacher that actually showed up as she wasn't there at pick-up either. The doorknob is broken to the front door (which some reviews have mentioned in 2017). The 'outside play time' includes playing in the alleyway that is adjacent to a parking lot -safety is a huge concern. There are no toys provided for them to play outside - just a couple balls. My son's "art" was a bird box he painted - I don't know how they did this for 4 hours? This "art" was also not in any of the descriptions sent via email or found on Activity Hero. I wasted my money signing him up for 5 days, he only went the first day and didn't return.

I submitted a request through the online form on the website and the owner Ella emailed me back. She walked me through the different party options as well as the available themes, and my daughter selected one. She followed up a few times leading up to the actual day. On the day of the party, Ella arrived early with one other instructor. For the Lego building session, they passed out a sheet with some builds related to the theme. I thought they were on the easier side for my daughter's age, but a lot of the kids chose to build their own ideas anyways. Then the instructors led the kids through some games that were also on theme, which was a pleasant surprise. At the end, they helped us serve the cake. One thing to note is that Snapology doesn't have a physical location so you have to provide the venue, although they offer a list of suggestions. Snapology was affordable and fun. It's a great addition to the birthday party scene!

I loved the Harry Potter theme. It was like a mini Universal Studios tour. Volunteers in costumes took you through. We got a a butter beer sample in the beginning, walked through Diagon Alley and casted spells with our wands, got sorted into a house, played Quidditch, defeated a dementor and a volunteer took photos of me and my friend outside the house at the end of the tour. Really cool and interactive experience. Make sure you donate online as their hard work benefits a nonprofit. It is free to get tickets but you have to have tickets to get in. Next year it will be a different theme of monsters. The experience is all outdoors at someone's home, in the driveway and backyard. You don't go inside their house for this experience.
