We worked with Nicole for many events together (5-10?). In our last event for our kids birthday,…read moreshe setup a nice stand for my sons birthday next to a playground we have reserved. Only problem was, the playground was closed for renovations. Nicole and her team didn't let us know that the playground was closed although they arrived on-site 2 hours earlier. When I arrived, I had to scramble with the team to move the setup to the park next-door. Everything was OK at the end and even some of our guests offered help. One of the main reason we book with Nicole is that when things go wrong, I'd like her to step up and resolve them. But instead, she CHARGED US $300 for moving to the next playground. Wow, we were expecting apology, not a $300 bill. Even if you are a repeating and happy client of Nicole (like us), I advise you to start looking for more professional services with other organizers. We appreciate the many events she helped us until she dropped the ball completely and insulted us by charging us extra afterwards. -- Nicole responded by saying that they couldn't have foresaw that the playground was closed. This is false as her team showed me that they sent Nicole messages and videos of playground being closed before they setup anything. They could have communicated this with us earlier and moved to This is beyond surprising on how Nicole handles unexpected cases. Instead of trying to prove she is right, it would have been easier to say "shit happens" and make it right... Very surprising and weak response.

I'm still kind of shocked by her ability to make things happen so quickly with amazing taste and the warmest and friendliest approach. Nicole will be our go-to person for parties and dinners from here on out. A+ all around.

I was looking for a face…read morepainter for one of the busiest Saturdays of the year and was thrilled when the company had an opening. We decided on face painting, a glitter bar and time for entertainment. Gale was our assigned fairy; she reached out a few days before our event. The morning of, we found out very last minute that we had to change our venue due to rain and Gale was flexible and was right on pace - after a quick text to her, she showed up as the new location on time. She arrived in a very festive Encanto/Mirabel outfit; our location change ended up being to our home and garage. Gale led an entertaining puppet show (several other parents thought for a short while that her rabbit puppet was a real animal) - kids and parents enjoyed it! The kids loved her artistry with her glittery tattoos on their face and hands. Her balloon animals were also a huge hit. It was fantastic to have 1 person with so many great skills to keep kids happy. As my husband and I were running the party, we loved the fact that we were able to keep ~25 2 to 5 year olds entertained for the 3 hour party (2 hours during which Gale was there). It was the best decision to have hired her. Booking with the company was also very easy and organized; I highly recommend it and would do it again. Thanks Gale for making our kid's birthday special and fun, and to the team at Happily Ever Laughter for being so organized and thoughtful. Worth it!!

I used to be quite crafty…read moreand a pseudo artist back in the day when I worked for an ad agency in SF....awww memories. Fast forward many, many years later I seem to have lost that creative side (other than cooking!) and haven't done much arts and crafts so this was a nice reprieve from the usual. My friend picked a day we were painting Hocus Pocus since it was close to Halloween...I never watched the movie but game to take a class as I haven't done a "paint-and-sip" since my first time in Danville. The concept is having wine and cheese while the instructor guides you thru each step of your painting. After 2 hours of painting, laughs and seeing everyone else's "interpretation" on the subject, you have an end product to take home. A fun experience for all creative levels even if you think you don't have a creative side. The whole point is to go with the flow and have fun. ...and it's not the wine talking. Other classes offered: fused glass, painted charcuterie boards, light saber class (yeah hmmm!), painted wine glass and kids summer camps. Highly recommend for a date night, private event, team building or something different to experience!

Good: - Everything was prepared when we got there, and we just needed to put on some art aprons and we had all the brushes and paints in front of us - Tami was a great teacher and super fun! I enjoyed getting guidance on how to make the painting better and she gave us tips on blending paints too - We got rose with our painting and it came out immediately so it was easy to sip and paint - Our paintings turned out great in the end! I was pleasantly surprised by the final result and was happy with the progress from start to finish Bad: - The studio was pretty empty so it felt a little sad that we were the only ones Overall this was a great date experience and I'd recommend to others looking for something slightly different than their usual date night activity. Reasonably priced too.
