After they called me to please give them another chance, that the teacher felt very sorry, I just found it to be unacceptable. Maybe she was having a bad day and she took it on my daughter. It was an awful experience, if this was in front of me, I cannot imagine what she would do without a parent present . I do not recommend this place.

Rescheduling lessons was a nightmare and simple questions like what the class schedule was was convoluted and shrouded in mystery as I could often not get any clear answers. She is currently 8yo and is in the intermediate class. -- She loves gymnastics and is the kid doing splits and cartwheels all over the place. She has learned real gymnastics skills in class, including round-offs, back-bends and more. -- There is a great gymnastics showcase each spring, at the end of the season (June). The girls get to show off each of the events -- floor, beam, bar. This is a great way for them to celebrate their progress and accomplishments in the year. -- There are elite level teams that one can participate on. These are invite-only. We have not been invited to these yet, but it is nice to know that the program offers plenty of room for growth and additional accomplishments. -- Scheduling is very easy, done through an online portal. You're also guaranteed your spot if you'd like to keep the same day/time mid-year (a new session technically starts in Jan). -- The instructors are great. Hailey, Mackenzie, Vincent -- really supportive, fun, give good instruction but a lot of encouragement too. -- There is wifi and a table in the waiting area. This means, if you need to log on to work during the lesson, you're able to do that, which I appreciate! There are also fun toys outdoors that siblings can play with, with supervision.

I tried an adult gymnastics class at this location, and my trial was sort of a mixed bag…read more Starting with registration, the website mentioned the class was full but that drop-ins were possible, so I reached out about it. They were able to accommodate me which was great, and I paid my fee and got the paperwork filled out. (The paperwork was 100% as if I was a parent filling it out for my child. Kind of weird, but not the worst so I just moved on). When I showed up (maybe 10 mins early), there was no one there to greet me. The whole place was full of kids and I didn't see any adults, so I started to worry that I showed up on the wrong day or time, but once the class time officially started, I saw a group of people who were warming up on trampolines. Since I wasn't greeted and there wasn't anyone who was clearly in charge, I assumed class started. I interrupted two people who looked like they may work there, and they said the class had started - and I could go join the others. They gave me some simple instructions on how to warm up and then I was on my own. The class itself was most enjoyable because of the other attendees. They realized that I wasn't sure what to do and they helped me figure things out. The coach was less helpful and I felt very out of place- she never introduced herself to me, or to the other members of the class. I did pay $40 for the class, so I expected at least a greeting and maybe a little bit of guidance on how to work my way into things. The class does have a lot of different workouts and combination of floor exercise and bars, balance beam, etc. so I did feel like I had a decent workout and learned a little bit about gymnastics. Personally, I felt that the experience was fine, but I wasn't overly impressed with my first time, so I decided it wouldn't be a fit for a regular weekly class.

There are two tracks here: the competition track (levels 1-10) and the Xcel track which is more casual. Both will help your child build self confidence (one of their goals for the kids as they get exposed to performing and competing). Xcel is more relaxed, uses some teen graduate coaches more and is better suited if your child is very shy and not yet ready to compete. Usually these programs are 2xs per week for ~2hrs. Some of our daughters classes have moved along a bit slowly depending on the teacher and some are more formal. Competition levels are 3xs a week and very serious and get high level coaching. As an example if I could do the level 5 warm up routine I'd have the body of Adonis. These kids are fit. This program is more expensive and the kids compete often and may travel to compete. Level 10 is national level fyi. Overall they run a good show though we have experienced some of the issues in the 1 star reviews. It is safer than regular gymnastics and incorporates more ballet type dance with a gymnastics floor routine.

It is a positive learning environment, and drama is kept to a minimum. Five years ago, we moved to Houston, TX. My daughter tried out at many of the top gyms in the country. We found a gym she enjoyed and where she trained for a few years. After a horrible injury, my daughter is returning to gymnastics. Her former gym closed its women's program. I asked her where she would like to try. She stated she received the best training at Elite Gymnastics in Ashland. It's where she felt the safest and most comfortable and got the best training. It's a huge area full of gear to make any kid a tumbler. When I spoke to the owner she was more than helpful with information on the program and though I don't need it for myself, I appreciated how happy she was to share. The little ones love it there and my brother recommends this place to anyone in the area looking for a place to let their kids release a bunch of energy in an hour.
