I recently had to had my two cats out of the house for the day while they worked on my house. I was super nervous about having to board them, but I feel good about having to use Paw La La again in the future. All staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful. They also sent me pics (small fee) and were responsive to emails during the day as I checked in on the cats. I have one cat who is so skiddish and even he allowed them to pet him during his stay. They have a complete separate room/area for cats. There are one or two spots in front. Thankfully the times I went I was able to quickly park there; because that particular area is nearly impossible with parking. read more

We love boarding at Paw La La ! We've been using their boarding services since 2023 where we met Dawn and her wonderful team. She last boarded on January 2026 for 10 days and I felt it was an eternity missing her everyday but she was in her own little vacation. She attended birthday "pawty" meet so many furry friends. I love seeing the IG stories knowing she was having a blast. However, the best thing of it all is since she began boarding at Paw La La I've noticed a huge improvement in her social skills when we are out in public. She's always been a good girl but now I see her more aware and less hyperactive when she's other dogs. Socializing and playing with other dogs has definitely helped her. I had a terrible experience with this store. They sold me this Veterinary Formula Flea and Tick Shampoo for $30, which is three times the actual price! When I realized I had been overcharged, I immediately called to request a refund, but they told me it was a final sale and refused to return my money. This is clearly a scam--they take advantage of customers by overpricing and denying refunds. Do yourself a favor and buy this product online or from a reputable store instead. I wouldn't trust this place at all! Additionally, I reported this incident to the FTC and requested a refund from my credit card company two hours after the purchase. When I told the manager that I hadn't been informed about the final sale and didn't sign anything, they made some nonsensical comment about a no refund sign outside. Be cautious, everyone, and stay alert to scams like this! In response to the owner's rebuttal: I simply called the store and inquired about the product. I was told that there was a high-quality flea shampoo, even recommended by veterinarians, which was supposedly better than what you'd find at CVS. Based on that recommendation, I went to the store and purchased the item immediately. However, I later discovered that I had paid over three times the proper price--$30 instead of $9.92. The product was already on the other side of the register when I made the purchase, so I had no opportunity to verify the correct price at that moment. Regardless of whether it's a small business or not, if they intend to charge inflated prices in this way, they should inform customers in advance or have them sign a confirmation acknowledging the pricing. I called to make an appt for my fur baby he always got the "luxe spa experience" the appt was set ... the receptionist calls me back a couple mins later and tells me that their prices went up and is no longer $92 now it'll be $142 I was at work so I told her I'll call back to go over prices. Let me first say that Dawn is the bomb, so much so, I don't know why she doesn't just open up here own place , ya know, to add more places. She knows dogs, how to handle their behavior, etc. Let's talk about the business itself... it is not comparable to the huge places on the westside such as Wags Club because well, Paw LaLa is considerably smaller. But the small space is well suited for the number of dogs that they care for. And I would say I've never seen the dogs overcrowded, as I have at other kenneling places. The location is convenience as it is on my way to the office and on my wife's way to the school's she teaches at. Parking... what can I say, it's Ktown. Don't expect much. If there's no space, park at the repair shop next door. The other thing I like is that they offer specialty services such as no-anesthetic teeth brushing. I have been here a few times and they do not do all of the services they claim and they are always "right" they make false claims and accusations do not trust with your money or your pets! Very irresponsible and rife people. In terms of the e service, it's mediocre and I had to even argue with the groomer because they didn't use the proper products I had said many times. Today was our first time being here at Paw La La and man, am I glad we came here! This was an amazing experience, from the front desk all the way to the groomers actual work, it was all so great! Luis, the groomer, did an amazing job with Brunos cut and was really attentive. Luis gave Bruno a beautiful typical Schnauzer cut and left no rough transitions on his coat AT ALL. My baby came out looking happy and relaxed plus he smelled so good and was so soft to the touch We will definitely be coming back here from now on. They are a little on the pricier side but honestly, the work they do and the type of customer service they provide is well worth every extra dollar. Let me tell you....finding good groomers / doggy day-care is a mission in itself ‍...so thankful I found pawlala a year ago for so many reasons. 1. Their grooming services are immaculate! (The pictures speak for themselves) but above all, never once have I ever found a Knick or scratch on my fur-baby which had been an issue before. 2. It's literally a all-in-one stop shop. I always end up staying a bit after dropping him off to get groomed to explore their inventory. 3. Their customer service is *chefs kiss*. I've found myself having conversations with the fabulous ladies stationed there at every visit. They've all got wonderful warm personalities. Being a big of a overprotective dog mom - I tend to check in pretty frequently when leaving him at ANY doggy daycare (IYKYK as a pet parent). They've always been very considerate and understanding with updates and notifies me of the friends he's made there. Reassuring me he's in safe hands. It's a bit more expensive than any of the previous groomers my pup has gone to however, the convenience and amazing service keeps me coming back time and time again. Transparently speaking - I horrible with elaborating his cuts so the fact they keep record and I'm able to just refer to his "usual" or previous haircuts is an added touch that truly makes a world of a difference for me. I waited a few days to post this so I could collect my thoughts on how badly this place screwed up my dog's boarding stay and bath. I previously took my husky mix to this facility for daycare several times last year during the pandemic (last time was 11/2020). I called last week to arrange for cage free boarding. When I called I was told she would need to come in for a temperament test by having her attend a day of day care since it had been so long. I agreed to this as it seemed totally reasonable since she never boarded there before. Upon picking my dog up Friday afternoon, I was informed that she was approved for overnight boarding and that she did not like being left in the corrals. At this point my understanding was that the corrals were to be used for feeding purposes only and that there would be 24/7 supervision throughout her stay. I informed them that she's been at home with me every day since March 2020 as I am working from home. I said she doesn't like being caged and that her separation anxiety is high right now. They seemed to think this wouldn't be an issue and I should have asked for more clarification on how often they would leave her in a corral when she was not eating. Here are the issues I experienced: - Upon arrival to pick her up Monday I was informed that she destroyed part of the wall and wooden gate in the corral when they left in the corral to do chores around the facility. They showed me photos on an iPad of the damages (wall chewed and some wood pieces missing from their corral) and charged me $85 for the damages. I was never shown a video of my dog doing this and I do not understand why she was put back in the corral after they expressed she did not like being in there. She eats in corrals at other places but they let her right back out when she is finished and don't leave her in there long enough for her to get upset. - I was handed back half of her pre-portioned food and never told which meals she missed. She ate a meal immediately when we got home. - She returned with a significant limp in her front left leg, which she has had since I picked her up. She was even slow about getting into/out of my car when she usually leaps into it. No one even told me why she might be limping. She was the last pick up and they were closed so I did not go back in to ask what happened. I was still too upset about the damage charges. - She does not smell or look clean at all after being charged $90 for a "Diamond bath package" She doesn't smell dirty and her nails are trimmed but when I went to brush her I found that her entire left shoulder has matted hair in the undercoat. I have been slow brushing it out since it is hurting her to do so. She did not have this issue when I dropped her off. She gets a bath about every 6 weeks and always looks fluffy after it. This bath left her looking disheveled with tangled hair. Their website says nothing about being responsible for any damages your dog causes. I could see if I signed a contract but that isn't the case. I wasn't shown any kind of estimate to replace what my dog destroyed. Instead I was charged $85 for something my dog did because she was left unattended in a corral at a "cage free" boarding facility. If there are chores to be done they should be done by another employee so someone is always watching the dogs. I have worked at a daycare myself and we NEVER left any dogs unattended. My dog is 8 and has boarded at 4 other dog daycares in the area without incident for up to 14 nights at a time. I chose this business because it's the closest to my house and I wanted her to have a bath/nail trim before pick up. The other places only bathe and don't do nails or I would have stuck with her usual spots. My main complaint is that is that during NO point during the weekend (2 night stay) did they contact me to inform me that there were any problems. I told them I wasn't going that far and had they called me I would have been back to pick her up immediately. The staff was all very nice and I was told the owner was the one who insisted they charge me for damages. I feel completely taken advantage of between the charge for damages and the $90 bath that left my dog limping and tangled. This whole experience was unacceptable read more

Very friendly staff - they did a good job taking care of Mochi but as you can see from the pictures, not what we wanted. The haircut was not even, the body was okay but the face was really bad. Every time we look at our poor Mochi we can't help but laugh at how funny she looks. This would be a good place to get a haircut with clippers but if you want a detailed cut that requires scissors, probably not the best place. read more

I've been coming to Paw La La around 2 years, usually come monthly for diamond bath and brush with teeth brushing for my little chihuahua. I'm generally satisfied with my services and the workers are very friendly and seem to be sweet to my dog. Parking sucks but that's pretty on par for ktown. The worst thing about this place is that it varies so much on how long it takes before you can pick up your dog. They'll tell you 2-3 hours but about 70% of the time, they're done in 1-1.5 hours. 15% of the time, I call them and they insist they sent me notification that my dog is ready (but i never received it). And 15% time she's actually ready in 2-3 hours. It's just really inconvenient if you don't live nearby since you have to pick up within 30 mins of them notifying you but the pickup time can vary so much you're either hurrying to pick up or you're sitting around waiting for long periods of time read more

They have gone above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable, especially the manager Dawn. Our dog started out very shy and reserved, but they were patient with her and now she loves to play and socialize with other dogs. I was very very anxious about dropping off my baby at a groomer for 2 hours as he is a rescue from a bad situation and is scared of people. We just moved to LA our old groomer came to our house to service my pup. It was just under 2 hours and she did everything I asked and for $70! What a steal. Left a very generous tip hoping she would remember my Oaklee next time and give him some extra tender love and care. His eyes were a little irritated from the bath (I think from the soap in his eyes) I had to cleanse his eye last night with saline solution. The only thing is that I will be asking them not to perfume my dog after services. I really didn't like the overwhelming scent. Everything else was perfect. So sad to be writing this review since the first time we came here we had a good experience but this time around was much worse. We bought our dogs here for a haircut and the second we were walking inside they seem terrified (both are normally great with getting groomed). We asked the girl for a summer cut with a 7 and they came out with a 5 even though she stated they had no mats or tangles. When we got home we noticed multiple cuts around their armpits and on the tops of their heads. Both of their nails needed a lot of attention (splintered nails and very sharp) and it's a shame to receive a haircut like this after paying so much money. The staff seemed very rushed that day but instead of offering to reschedule they insisted on them being groomed. Unfortunately we will not be coming back here. read more

This is the ONLY day care that my dog Scotch loves. My wife and I have tried several different spots, but Scotch is so scared to go inside the other places, we've had to carry him in. So, we stopped going everywhere but Paw La La. When we drop him off, Scotch RUNS to get inside the building and see his friends. He plays hard, but is given breaks when he needs them. Dawn and the rest of the staff treat us like family, and they're so patient, accommodating, and communicative. Which is especially important when you have a street dog/rescue who has high anxiety and is afraid of everything. Plus, they recently extended their hours, which has been a huge help. The place is so clean and adorable. The service by groomers and staff is unmatched. Maria groomed my Maltese and he took a liking to her instantly as she is a very sweet soul. The staff listened to my concerns and did not use a drying cage. I also was able to send in a picture of the exact teddy bear cut, I wanted for my baby and Maria delivered. The front desk staff caught that one of my Maltese's shots was expired - so the vet was next on our list that day, thanks to their great eye. Once I picked him up, I noticed his anal glass were a bit swollen. So I called back to ask, if they had been expressed. The staff was so sweet and patient with my inquiry...offered to express them again, no charge as Maria and the staff were willing to do whatever to make me & my baby comfortable....even texted me to follow up. By this time, I was at the vet and they were going to re-express them, but the vet said they were empty just swollen. All in all, the concern for my baby warmed my heart and it speaks to not only their service, but integrity. Your fur baby will be in great hands with Paw LaLa and will look really cute too- my sugar bear has gotten soo many compliments on his teddy cut! I am a customer for life now.
