Gypsy's Persian Grill was such a wonderful spot to visit. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The atmosphere is cute, cozy, and welcoming, making it the perfect place for a relaxed lunch date. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and you can truly tell how much love goes into their food. What made the experience even more special was the staff, they treated us like family and made us feel so appreciated from start to finish. After our meal, we took a little walk by the ocean, which was just steps away and made this spot even more perfect. Great food, warm hospitality, and an ocean stroll all in one place, this is definitely a gem we can't wait to return to.

Went here on Tuesday for dinner. There were only two other guests dining. The staff had great customer service. The food was very flavorful and fresh. A lot of people were coming for takeout orders. Highly recommend

The best salmon kabob I've ever had and absolutely loved their orange blossom infused iced tea. The experience was great, the place was quiet, but sooo relaxing. We got there about an hour before closing. Service was amazing, they were so kind and sweet. Can't wait to come back here, especially for that salmon kabob.

The ice cream is AMAZING! The garlic sauce was also so good! You feel like you're being welcomed into your grandmas kitchen. Very comfortable, relaxed, and all fresh cooked food. The service was amazing also.

Such an amazing little spot! Tried Turkish coffee for the first time and loved it! The food was delicious and the service was so warm and welcoming. They happily accommodated our party of five, and you can really feel the love in this family-owned gem. Can't wait to go back! gracias!!

Cute spot right by a small pier... small and intimate with a back patio lined with fake flowers. Bathroom is small and outdated... building is old. Food was ok. We tried the sampler plate and the kebab combo. Sampler plate was on the smaller side. Hummus, cucumber yogurt dip, eggplant borani and 3 dolma. Nothing stood out as great but it was good. Dolma were eh. It was served w an ample amount of pita. Kebabs: we got the curry chicken because they ran out of Turkish chicken, and the kubide. Portion of the salad (we got tabbouleh) was small. The chicken was really good... cooked well and good flavor. Kubide was eh. Not much flavor. We tried their hot sauce and it tasted like thicker tapatio. Nice spot for a date night if it's walkable from you or if you're in the area and can find parking. Wouldn't seek this out in terms of the food.

Family owned since 2003, Gypsy's Persian Grill brings authentic Mediterranean flavors with a proud Persian twist straight from the heart of Tehran. Every dish feels rooted in tradition, from the perfectly seasoned meats to the vibrant sides that showcase real home style cooking. Located in the beautiful Belmont Shore neighborhood, this spot delivers warmth, flavor, and a sense of heritage that keeps you coming back. A true local gem with heart and history.

i loved the sampler here!! the eggplant was my favorite as i typically do not get this side & it was a nice contrast to the hummus or other sides. the chicken kebab plate was delicious as well! i shared the sampler & the plate but would recommend getting your own plate if ur a decent amount of hungry. the inside was very cozy & they also have outdoor seating. they do close the outdoor patio when its windy so no sand getting in ur food. service was kind & friendly to everyone who was dining! parking was a little challenging but its near the beach so just be prepared to circle around

Nice and spacious with ample seating for big group, big windows to still enjoy the sun while eating. Garreth (Apologies if i butchered spelling!!!) was servicing the front. What a gem he is, it's not often where I see great hospitality to the degree he put down. Fun menu presentation and shared personal favs as well as general customer favs, highlighted lunch specials, and things you could substitute if need be. And me being a yapper, was fun to chat with him! He exemplified fantastic hospitality with everyone that came through the doors, something I noticed while I enjoyed my meal in. You can tell he'a the type of person that if he'a going to do something - it's done well. I hope if he ever comes across this, that he knows I truly enjoyed the energy and care he has. As well as the ambiance he created with a nice selection of music - a food delivery person came in dancing from the music! it was so cute The food was delicious as well. Meat is well seasoned and not over cooked, rice was supple, and hummus was a texture i really enjoyed (I don't favor hummus that feels on the thin side). Not pictures is the tzatziki app I ordered, but i loved pairing it with the meat to add a refreshing element to my meal! Again, appreciate you super much Garreth!!!

Nonetheless, the quality of the food justified the wait. We ordered the House Specialty Hummus Trio, of which we have leftovers. All three varieties met our expectations, with the edamame hummus particularly standing out to me. Regarding the panini sandwiches (shared between two people) we had the Salmon Brie Panini and the Tofu Pesto Panini. The Salmon Brie Panini was enjoyable, though slightly fishy tasting. The Tofu Pesto Panini distinguished itself through its exceptional flavor, texture, and creativity. Overall, we were pleased with our experience and look forward to returning in the future.

That first experience is what made me come back. On my second visit, I ordered the same salad with chicken and lamb because I wanted that same experience again. When I got back to work, I realized the chicken was missing. I did not complain because I still had the lamb and the rest of the salad, and I understand that mistakes happen. Still, it was disappointing because I specifically came back wanting the same complete meal I had the first time. On my third visit, I drove from Gardena to Signal Hill specifically for that salad. After driving back to Gardena, I realized there was no dressing in the bag. I called the restaurant and explained what happened. I was told, "I'm sorry." At first I accepted that, but then I thought, what am I supposed to do with a salad with no dressing? I called back because I wanted to know what could be done. I was told that if I wanted my money back, I would have to bring the salad back to the restaurant. That meant after already driving from Gardena to Signal Hill and back, I was expected to make another trip because of something the restaurant forgot. When I explained that I was disappointed with how the situation was being handled and that I planned to leave a review, the woman on the phone responded, "All this for a dressing?" That comment bothered me more than the original mistake. Yes, it was dressing, but that misses the point. This was already the second time something had been left out of my order. The first time, I let it go. This time, the missing item affected the whole meal. What I would have appreciated was simple customer service. Acknowledge the inconvenience and make an effort to keep the customer. Something as simple as, "We apologize. Unfortunately, we cannot refund you without the food being returned, but on your next visit we will make sure we take care of you," would have completely changed the experience. Even offering a drink next time or simply saying they appreciated my business would have shown that they cared. I also tipped on my takeout order because I believe a tip is a way of showing appreciation for good service and attention to detail. I understand that a tip does not guarantee perfection, but it was disappointing to tip and still receive an incomplete order. There was also something I observed during this visit that concerned me. Someone spilled a drink, and one of the cooks helped clean it up. He wiped the floor while wearing gloves and, from what I could see, appeared to keep the same gloves on when returning to food preparation. That made me uncomfortable. I would have expected the gloves to be changed before handling food again. To be fair, the restaurant itself looks clean, organized, and well maintained. The tables, chairs, counters, and furniture appear to be in good condition. That is one of the reasons I kept giving this place another chance. I wanted to like Pita Pitaki. After my first visit, I thought it might become one of my go to places. Unfortunately, I never really got that same full experience again. My first visit was good. My second visit was missing the chicken. My third visit was missing the dressing, followed by customer service that made me feel like my concern did not matter. You can have good food and a clean restaurant, but customer service still matters. Sometimes how a business handles a mistake matters more than the mistake itself. My advice for anyone ordering takeout here is simple. Double check your order before you leave. Open the bag and make sure you have everything, especially meats, sauces, and dressing. Unfortunately, after giving this place several chances, it is no longer one of my go to spots.

One thing you absolutely cannot skip is the edamame hummus. I had never even heard of edamame hummus before coming here, and now I can't believe I went so long without trying it.
