We always come here during our Long Beach Grand Prix weekend, but just don't post every visit. As always, fantastic food & service! The restaurant is nicely decorated & good a/c! We will be back next year!

I have never had Thai food, but let me tell you I'm glad this was my first experience. So delicious! The panang Curry was soooooo bomb. The golden tofu was so huge ! && The sauce that went with it was so good. The waiter was nice && attentive. Even though we got there before closing. The place was so cute. Definitely gonna look for a similar place like this back home.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great food and service in a casually elegant atmosphere. Not sure why we've never been here before, as we are such big Thai food fans, but perhaps an excuse is that the location isn't the most convenient for us. Since we were staying at The Breakers across the street, though, we were able to walk over. Some friends had given it very high marks so we were curious to try it. The ambiance is definitely more elevated than a majority of Thai restaurants one encounters, but it still felt comfortable. Our party of 5 had no problems getting a table on a Monday night. We ordered: - steamed veggie dumplings (perfectly steamed, with great flavor) - Massamun curry with tofu medium heat (delightfully peanutty) - pad kee mow with tofu (medium heat, perfect consistency of the noodles and veggies) - glass of rosé (crisp accompaniment to the dishes) - tom kha soup with veggies (wonderfully flavorful) We received excellent service throughout the meal and it didn't break the bank. A surprising hidden gem in plain sight.

I came for lunch and got the spicy eggplant with medium spice. I like that they offer a lunch menu for $16 with a drink included. That is a great deal. The dish is very flavorful and is one of my favorites. The inside is very clean and inviting. The service is ok, sometimes it's hard to get the staff's attention for sauces or sugar packets.

Back for another visit in Long Beach. This night was pretty busy with pretty much the tables all utilized as well as people having dinner at the bar. We were able to get a table right when we walked in which was quite nice. The service was great as last and everyone was very friendly. A nice calm ambiance for a nice meal. Menu wise for both cocktails and dinner was great. It's a full menu so they pretty much have everything. Also a nice cocktail list that makes ordering pretty simple. Started off with a lychee martini which always is refreshing and goes down quite easily. And also had the detox delight which quite refreshing as well and the nice hint of cucumber reminds me of a cucumber martini. Dinner wise, we started off with the chicken satay served with peanut sauce and the pickle cucumber. Chunks of chicken was nice and tasty. Entrees, the chicken panang which you need to order a side or rice on the side. Sucks it doesn't come with the curry. The coconut sauce always makes it amazing but we asked for it spicy but it wasn't. And the tom yum noodle soup. Honestly it was good, but I've had better. It still was nice. I had it with the combination meat. Not much veggies to it except bean sprouts. We enjoyed our meal, cocktails were great. Service and staff were all amazing and very friendly. It's a nice go to Thai spot in Long Beach.

All dishes ordered were savoring in flavors. The waitress was very knowledgeable with the menu, she took our order without writing it down. The dishes came out fast. I will definitely come back.

This used to be one of my favorite Thai spots but I don't know what's happened the past few times. Maybe a switch in chef? I was extremely disappointed by my take-out Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Pad see ew was slightly better than the Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was so bland, dry and had zero color. It used to be so flavorful and my go to order. The tofu in the pad see ew was like it came straight out of the package and wasn't sautéed in with the noodles. At least the Thai tea still tastes fine. Sad to say that I won't be returning to this place

I would visit again. It was easy to locate, very clean. All the food came to the table HOT, that was my favorite thing. The waitress was really great she was clear and concise. The spicy wings were not good to ME. They were just fried and covered in a non spicy sauce.

This place was delicious! I was throughly surprised as we came on a Friday night and there were only a few people there. The service was quick and the staff were attentive. I was craving Massaman curry and was not disappointed!! It was my bf's first time trying the dish and I'm glad he tried it from here cause now he craves it too! The tamarind sauce from the meatballs were addictive. I would drizzle it on anything. The Pad kee mao was flavorful and is always a solid choice.

Visited Naree on a Tuesday evening. It was not busy however it seems they were short staffed as it took a while for the server to address my table. When the server arrived he was very kind and attentive going forward. The restaurant was beautiful and clean perfect for a date night or something more casual. I tried the steamed Dim Sum which was hearty and packed with flavor. I would love to try them again fried. Also tried the deliciously sweet Lychee Tea. I could drink this all day long especially on a hot day. Next up I tried the spicy crab noodle, shrimp Thai fried rice and the roasted duck fried rice. All had amazing bold spice and flavor. Presentation was beautiful and portion size huge made for great leftovers the next day! This is a must visit Long Beach destination!

The staff always seem annoyed and anxious to kick customers out near closing. Regardless, I'll still keep coming back as it's worth dealing with in exchange for everything else being good. I have a bit of a sensitive stomach when it comes to greasy food but their food satisfied my palate! Between the chaotic parking situation and feeling rushed through the meal, it took away from what could have been a great dining experience. It's gotten a lot more popular since then, with some great additions to the menu (a lot of vegan options) and social advertising. So when I was walking back home from a delicious (but not filling) lunch, decided to stop in to 'top off'. It had a great dish along with very good banchans (but also a bland rendition of a classic Korean dish). It was busy on a mid Saturday afternoon, with their dedicated backyard parking lot pretty full. They now have outdoor seating where they've set-up korean 'grill-your-own' bbq tables. There's a clear 'Please wait to be seated' sign at the front, but no dedicated hostess station, so one has to wait till a server happens to come by. I was told I could choose a booth. There are no printed menus, instead needing to depend on their website. I had a craving for kimchi jjigae ($18.99), and noticed mackerel ($9.99) so got that as well. The jjigae comes with banchan, and those came early. They really upped their game here, with 7 different ones that looked (and tasted) great. Today, they had a daikon and carrot pickled salad (solid, would go great with fried chicken), stir-fried mushrooms (would go great in a bibimbap), marinated fish cakes (a personal favorite, and their version was solid), soybean sprout side dish (have grown to appreciate this as I've gotten older), napa kimchi (pretty strongly sour), cucumber kimchi (strongly favored by still maintaining crunchiness), and a decent macaroni salad (think I tasted a bit of potato in there, Hawaiian-style). This is a super good deal, especially for lunch. The banchan along with the steamed rice (well prepared) comes in bronze looking dishes, indicating a higher level of refinement. I love pike mackerel, having it quite a lot when growing up, and always thought that it (kkongchi) was what mackerel was in Korea. In reality, a more popular mackerel is the Korean mackerel (godeungeo), and this is what is served as an appetizer here: the preparation was a revelation. Two large, generous, boneless filets of mackerel is lightly breaded and fried. It sits on top of a bed of greens with various accompaniments. A generous amount of chili threads make it visually appealing as well. This is an absolute steal at the price, a fine dining dish at this restaurant. And it was great not having to worry about thin bones ruining each bite. I really loved this dish. The dish I thought would be good...was not. Just looking at it, one can tell something's up: the broth was bland without umami, which is the worst sin for this dish. There is a choice of spam (chosen) or pork belly, and its definitely added at the end of cooking since it added nothing to the broth flavor. Maybe the broth is initially prepared vegan-style (no pork or fish seasoning initially)? But if so, why no mushrooms? Anyway...I ate all the chunks in the stew to not waste, but left the rest of the broth alone. Service was attentive to bring the dishes, but then completely non-responsive afterwards. I finally was able to grab another server, who was able to check me out tableside using Toast tablets.

I loved the ambiance for sure. We saw a couple order a few things I asked what they had ordered. I came in on Saturday with my daughter to enjoy an early dinner. It was around 5pm, and not too many people were dining at that time. I dined in as part of the Yelp Elite Experience (YEE). They greeted me kindly, took my name down and sat us down at one of the small tables against the wall. The YEE include a ramen of my choice and a two-piece appetizer of crispy rice and spicy tuna. I opted for the tonkatsu ramen and ordered an additional one for my daughter even though I knew she wouldn't even finish half. Leftovers for me to enjoy later I also ordered a cranberry juice for her and the rooibos iced tea for myself. I very much enjoyed the iced tea and appreciated the menu recommending it as a perfect companion to ramen. Although it's unsweetened, it had a refreshingly natural sweetness to it. To my ramen, I added black garlic oil and chili paste. The broth was very delicious, flavorful and rich. I'm not a huge pork eater anymore, which I need to remind myself of. I did really enjoy my ramen, however, next time I'll have to try another protein, extra egg instead of pork or give the vegan ramen a try, for my own good. Thank you to our server Mel for being very sweet and patient with my daughter and me. She also explained the service fee very well. Heads up that there is an automatic 17.68% service charge added for dine-in orders. I believe I did see it mentioned on the menu, but the man who sat us (possibly a shift manager?) also pointed it out somewhat quickly. However, there was some confusion upon paying because I had explained to Melanie that I wanted to tip on what the total would have been without the promotion; that's just how I've been taught to tip regardless of there being a free or discounted item on the check. So I was adding it up on my phone to see what "I owed" for service. I confirmed that everything looked good on the receipt and she ran my card without the option of me being able to add an additional tip. Something about how most people won't pay more on top of the included service charge, which I get completely, but I felt bad because I got free items and wanted to leave a more comprehensive tip. I'll have to go back soon and try that vegan ramen and more of that tea

While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great. They do not have tipping, instead they have a service charge of a little over 17%. Definitely worth it!
