Lamb kebab with Mediterranean salad and pilaf
    Kathy N.

This is a beautiful location within the LBX center--but not in the busiest hub, so it was a little more relaxing. It's nicely decorated, and the weather was perfect for us to enjoy dinner on the outside patio. We enjoyed the food, though it's Persian oriented, so different from the more Greek-type Mediterranean food we're used to. The lamb kebabs had a sweeter spice, and the pilaf was definitely different, with both sweet and savory flavors. My husband's salmon pasta was very good, with large, tender chunks of salmon. Portions are generous, and it's nice to have both salad and rice included.

Panini kabob was an oasis as we walked rounding beach.. the outside seating was welcoming and at a really busy cross roads to watch people. We started with the hummus trio - wow- the roasted red pepper was OMG!! I took the suggestion from Adrian ( our server ) to try the chicken pesto- It was buttery, well grilled and pesto was flavor filled. My Wife loved the steak panini.. panini kabob is must try- but make sure to sit outside!!!

My husband picked me up at Long Beach Airport after one of my trips so we stopped here for dinner. He ordered the Flat Iron Steak Kabob and I got the Jumbo Shrimp Kabob. They both were $20.99 but we upgraded to Strawberry Date salad for a $1.99 additional charge. Was it worth it, no it was not. I think I found maybe one piece of date in mine and barely any strawberry. My husband faired slightly better. The shrimp were ok, pretty dry. Service was not great. Maybe our server was new or just feeling overwhelmed. I should have ordered the Caprese Panini ($13.99). Maybe next time.

Pesto Chicken Panini with Green Lentil Soup

One of my favorite places to eat in Long Beach, California!! Ambiance: Welcoming, with plenty of tables inside, but I enjoy sitting outside under the patio furniture with decorative lights and beautiful plants. Service: Always a pleasure, with quick service. Food: For an appetizer on a cloudy day, the Green Lentil Soup is my go to! The best panini sandwich thus far is the Chicken Pesto Panini! Grilled to perfection, seasoned just right, melting in your mouth after every bite! See you back soon PKG!!

It was actually pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon. Location wise it's good as it's downtown near the library and corporate offices but weekend, it's quiet. Restaurants itself is pretty big both with inside and covered patio. Walked in and was offered to sit wherever we liked. Patio was nice as the inside so freakin cold. It's been years since I was last inside one of the restaurant. Menu still looked the same give or take a few items that looked new to me. Waitress was great and sweet. She was also the one that greeted us. Started off with some beers which was priced well. I remember potion were quite big so we just shared the hummus trio and two kabobs combination. Trio of hummus, spicy red bell peppers, edamame and garlic and olive oil. They were excellent, each one had their own flavors and plenty on the plate. A good amount of the pita as well as a side salad accompanied the dish. Highly recommend this. And the beef combination with two kabobs. Worth the price adding a second kabobs. That was served with rice and a salad. Theres options with rice and salad but I went Greek salad and white rice. First off, it's massive so good for sharing or plenty of leftovers. The meat was cooked well and very flavorful. Not dry at all but very juicy. Rice and the salad was a perfect paring to everything. It also came with grilled veggies, onion tomatoes and bell peppers. It was a while since I had this plate and the first bite, it was worth it. Food was excellent. Service was good. Street parking available. Not sure if there's a private lot that's part of the restaurant but a paid lot nearby.

I met a friend here for lunch last week and I arrived first. It's downtown LB, so parking can be tricky. I parked a couple of blocks away and the walk was perfect. I walked inside and it seems like you order at the counter. But I noticed an outside area and opted for that. There were nice heaters and a server takes your order. Miguel was an absolute charmer! He explained some of the dishes to me and managed to make us laugh with his sweet "flirting". He charmed the two of us. We could both be his abuelas! My meal was top tier. The beef was extremely flavorful and the salad added just the right amount of sweetness. The rice was rice. I loved it here, 10/10, highly recommend.

Went to this place for lunch, was in walking distance from the Long Beach Court office. They were pretty busy for lunchtime, cashier person was training and was a bit overwhelmed. Ended up getting a steak Panini with grilled bellpeppers and onions, and no mushrooms. Honestly, it was about a 30 minute wait for my food. The items were a little bit on the pricier side. I really enjoyed the steak Panini. It also came with a side of soup. I got chicken and vegetable soup. It tasted like the soup had a tomato broth. To my surprise it was actually better than I expected. Overall, I enjoyed my meal.

Always a favorite!! Consistently delivering delicious meals and serving size is plentiful. The price point is higher, but every meal provides me with leftovers. Takeout is usually my go to from this location. Ordering is easy. Food is ready on time or faster everytime.

I recently visited Panini Kabob Grill and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. Everything tasted like it was made with real, quality ingredients. The place is clean, the service is friendly, and the portions are generous for the price. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back again. If you're looking for good Mediterranean/Middle Eastern-style food, this place is worth trying!

I want to thank my sister for choosing this place to have her bday dinner, we came here for lunch once before but since have forgotten about it until I returned with the whole family and it was a good time with amazing food. No complaints for anyone, everyone was quiet and busy eating and totally enjoyed their dishes. May I say, my bf doesn't care for restaurant food but he actually did say something positive about his steak panini that was paired with a yummy salad we both enjoyed and since I ordered a chicken pasta, it was perfect. He also took my leftovers for lunch and did not hesitate when I offered it the next day & he asked, "You sure?" Well yes, I want to return and can't have you say you didn't enjoy it, man. The problem is to choose one item! Which is an indication you know you will be back! We had some appetizers, the hummus are amazing, salads are fresh and down to the pasta are creamy and delicious. Items are not salty but nutritious. No wonder it is always packed.

Food took a long time - about 30 mins. Server was nice. Parking was easy as there is a large lot that is shared between all the different establishments at LBX. Restaurant couldve been cleaner, I saw some chicken pieces on the floor under our table. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and it tasted pretty good. Prices are a bit on the higher side.

One of my favorite go to places! I am obsessed with their strawberry date salad! The dressing is amazing too! Service is always good, the restaurant is always clean. They have both indoor and outdoor patio seating, street parking available.

My husband and I love this place! You get more bang for your buck here that's for sure! Service is always top notch and I love having lunch and dinner here with my family and friends. It's a very family friendly place and there is outside and inside seating. The food comes out hot! All of the ingredients that they use are definitely fresh! We celebrate birthday brunch here and just fun date nights! It gets really busy during lunch hour and dinner- we never wait long though. They have a great selection & I think it's pretty healthy too! We are creatures of habit so we always order the same thing, but sometimes I like to switch it up a bit. I tried something new last week and it made me want to give it a great review! My husband always orders the Combo plate & this time I got the Strawberry date salad- omg it was sooo delicious. You're probably thinking it's just a salad and you can make at home, which I'm sure you can- but this was sooo yummy! It was sweet and sour and packed all the flavors of savory goodness! I mean if you love blue cheese, dates, walnuts & strawberries! You got a perfect salad right there! Haha

Kafta Kabob was overcooked and dry. Chicken Kabob was very dry and tough. Salmon Kabobs were too well done but decent. Their garlic sauce only have a light hint of garlic flavor to it. The best part of the meal was the rice and hummus. We realized all the upcharges were added to our bill. We asked for an ONE extra pita bread, they charged $1.00. They only gave us 1 garlic sauce and I asked for another one because we ordered 2 plates. They charged me an extra 75 cents because one of these combo plates doesn't include garlic sauce. Uhm... ok. Apparently only 1 plate can have a garlic sauce. What kind of logic is that?! They both are Mediterranean plates with rice and hummus! 75 cents extra for a tiny garlic sauce. Custom charge of $3.00 was added to our $24 combo plates because I substitute the beef for another salmon Kabob. The other Kabob was a chicken. A takeout order, they charges 15 cents for a paper bag. The bill came out to be $55 for a takeout meal that's inside and behind a liquor store. All the highlighted upcharges on the receipt (see picture) that other restaurants does not charges. This is just taking advantage of your customer. Next time, I'll enjoy a nice sit down meal at a Mediterranean restaurant down the street with those prices. So underwhelming and disappointed. I know times are tough. I'm sure that $20 plus dollars you charge for a plate of food already made the business some profit already. It's tough for the customers as well, but taking advantage like this, I will never come back again which is too bad because my office is near and we would of made this our regular place to grab lunch. In honesty, it's not the extra few dollars that matter, it's the principle.
