Gyro Corner's food truck dishes out killer gyros with fresh pita, savory lamb, and tangy tzatziki that hits the spot. The fries are perfectly crisp, and their homemade sauces elevate every bite. Worth the hunt for authentic, flavorful Greek eats in Sacramento!

I want to start off by saying that the man in this truck has got to be one of the nicest humans in the whole world! Super friendly, easy to talk to, and so nice!! He even gave us a sample baklava (and it was the best baklava I've had in a hot minute!) To be honest, I don't have a single bad thing to say about this spot because not only are the prices so good for the amount of food and lower compared to other places, the food also tastes AMAZING. I mean, the chicken gyro was flavorful, saucy, and loaded with the right amount of toppings. The chicken itself was tender and juicy and I did not have ANY bad bites. Did I mention that the pita is also scrumptious?? It's soft and acts as a perfect vessel for the meat. I came here with my friend and we split 3 chicken gyros between the both of us. I think that was a perfect amount of food but one gyro is definitely filling on its own as well! Anyways, I would totally recommend checking this place out. The service is amazing, and so is the food!!

AMAZING chicken! We tried this place after seeing it on Doordash with great reviews. The best gyro and rice bowl. Ordered again a week later after thinking about it all week. Tried the baklava this time, so good! MUST TRY THIS PLACE!

This was my first time at Gyro Corner, and I have to say, it exceeded all expectations! The owner was incredibly professional, super nice, and so personable that it felt like we had known each other for years. The customer service alone made the experience memorable. The price was amazing, especially for the amount of food we received. We mentioned that we've tried other food trucks in the area and named a few, but Gyro Corner stood out in every way. The quality of the food was outstanding--everything was so fresh. You can tell the veggies are cut fresh daily, and the ingredients are top-notch. It's clear that care and quality go into every dish. I've tried a lot of gyro food trucks, but this one is probably the best I've ever had. If I had to pick between all of them, Gyro Corner would be my choice, hands down. Next time, I'm definitely trying their salad--I love that they have that option! If you're looking for fresh, flavorful food and amazing service, you have to check out Gyro Corner. I'll definitely be back!

If you already know what you want. It's super easy and quick if you order on yelp, you just have to drive up and it will be ready. Great customer service.

Best lamb fries in my opinion in sac food is 10/10. Service was really nice explaining to me what things were and how he would place some on the side.

What a hidden gem! This guy deserves an award. The bowls were sooooooo good. I got the steak and we also got the chicken. The steak was ok, a bit salty. But the chicken was phenomenal! On top of that, the guy in charge was so friendly and truly cares about his customers. Pro tip: call ahead to order so you don't have to wait. To the guy who helped me out today: You were right, I did enjoy your food! You have more customers coming your way because I posted this on my socials and everyone has been asking where I got it from. :)

The food is great, with huge portions. Not skimpy like other gyro places. The owner is really nice, always love having small chats with him. talks about the most random things. 5/5

    Chicken and lamb platter

I had the chicken and lamb platter (fresh and delicious), but could not finish it because of the hefty portion. The rice is so well seasoned that it's not boring to eat. The meat is soft and also very well seasoned! My sweet tooth was thrilled with their baklava. Go eat there already!

He also gave me this cool dessert sample! Baklava it was great.

I don't know what's better, the lamb or the customer service! Everything about this place is five stars. The best food truck I've been to in a very long time. I have actually been to a few different islands in Greece and this is still the best lamb I've ever had. And he answers the phone in 2.2secs!

    Chicken plate

Took my coworker out for lunch we decided on Gyro Corner as it's always a good meal. I ordered the chicken platter and it was great! Very flavorful, fresh, and filling. I usually get at least 2 meals out of it. Nice salad component, rice, chicken, pita, and fries. There is a sour cream base suace and another flavored sauce drizzled on top. They are always located at Florin and 55th St once it changes from 6th Parkway in the Shell gas station parking lot. Always friendly, always fresh, and always a tasty meal.

One of my favorite spots in sac! The owner is always so kind and the food is always so delicious! The chicken always tender and flavorful with the rice fries and salad. I have also tried the chicken gyro and that is fire as well ! Definitely must try !!

i got the combo platter n tbh it was just mid. took a lil to get the food out but there was only one guy working so i can't complain. dude was very nice and welcoming though. but yeah this shi in the ghetto ghetto. had to drive through potholes to get to the food truck for lunch. but back to the platter, i just think its mid. like the flavor wasn't up to par in my opinion. like it def wasn't bad, but I felt like it needed something. like i think some tang to the veggies would've been delightful. idk. but i must say, the bang for buck is insane. i was so stuffed after. stuffed like a build a bear

I got the tikka combo which involves skewered lamb and chicken over rice. There's some hummus, a big piece of bread, and a salad involved. Overall, I thought everything could have been more flavorful. While I'm a sauce man, if a place doesn't beg me to ask for sauce or add more, I'm pretty impressed. Further, the lamb was kind of tough. Perhaps, some of the other items could be better. They seem to have some nice baked good options. I guess the $ is competitive, but for $20+ for an entree and soda... Service: order at the register. Not too much conversation involved. Maybe about 4 tables available to dine in.

They are located inside a Mediterranean market. We ordered from the bakery, but, paid over in the market. I got their beef shawarma sandwich, while my coworkers went with the chicken. It took a few minutes before our sandwiches were done. The sandwich was big and a very good value for the price they charge. The problem I had was with the meat as it was very gristly. The beef was marinated well, and came with tomatoes and onions. They were okay. I can't complain much as the price was very reasonable.

They served us a whole small chicken which had great flavor but too many bones. The lamb was tender and sweet. The beef was served with tomatoes and peas and was also tender. The belly dancing was done almost every hour. Enjoyed that the dancer got the audience involved and was very approachable and friendly. I have found memories of all the prior Moroccan restaurants I've eaten at in SF and San Jose, and the fun watching the belly dancers that makes it all a festive mood. The service was prompt and attentive but when we asked about the spices used in the carrots appetizer he was unsure of the ingredients, we asked because they were outstanding in flavor. I offered the Sultans Feast meal which gave a large variety of appetizers to include wonderful Lentil Soup, tasty Hummus, carrots and beets are an option depending on the season, and a very unique tasting dish made with filo bread, almonds and eggs called B'Stela Royal that was both rich and light. For the entrees there was a the vegetarian Couscous called OUJDI, and to share also the traditional Moroccan Stew called Tangines, and I wanted the beef stew after having it in Spain as it was delicious, it's called BIDAWI. You must have the Mint Tea, it's a bit sweet here but always refreshing and a taste treat, the meal ends with Baklava and was mouth watering marvelous! Overall a good experience, though I was surprised given the quality of each plate that the peas in the beef stew and couscous seemed like not fresh but canned peas, as they were so squishy and lacked much flavor. All the other meals were tasty, unique and plentiful in serving size. Also a must have is the Honey Sauce and Almonds chicken had an amazing sauce and not to be missed. The chicken was a little overdone and not as moist as expected for a sauce based chicken but still tasty with a bounty of different flavors mixed in and that sauce was addictive , and had some yogurt added ! Casablanca was a fun and satisfying experience and with only one other small group of guests, I hope their business improves as we need unique ethnic cuisine to improve the variety of foods and styles we eat!

Server did offer to let us choose 2 different meats for our two #41 Koobideh plates (2 beef skewers for $25), but I think we would have been better off just ordering one #61 All Koobideh plate (3 different meat skewers for $34). One plate has plenty of basmati rice for two people to share. She suggested the two #41 orders, instead of answering how much an extra order of rice would cost. Maybe you can't order a side of rice? Rice comes with each entree. By ordering the 2nd plate, she offered or included the $8 Bread Basket for no extra charge. It was my friend's birthday. I wanted to pay, and she wanted to order extra to go, so I wanted two separate bills, but it seemed too complicated to explain or disallowed. After the food was delivered to the table, server didn't check on us anymore. I guess the restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays. My friend thought all the koobideh tasted the same. I liked them in this order: 1) Lamb, 2) Chicken, and 3) Beef, but they're the same texture, so they aren't all that different. I should have ordered a different 2nd entree, instead of two Koobideh plates. The #18 Bademjan Borani eggplant appetizer was yummy. It did come with some bread, so you don't have to order the bread basket. The bread is served warm. The basmati rice was light and fluffy, but not flavorful or buttery. You can pay a $4 upgrade to switch the rice to salad or a fancier stir fried rice. Read the Vegetarian Dishes menu section to learn about the various fried rice or polo preparations. Our server suggested the Fava Bean Rice or Baghali Polo because it is a Persian New Year dish. Yelp reviewers recommended the Zereshk Polo, which includes barberries, a fruit similar to currants. $10 to add a skewer of veggies. $4 to add a salad is mentioned under the Vegetarian Dishes menu and Seafood & Combination Plates menu. I didn't like how the sugar cubes for the Persian Tea were served. It looked communal and exposed to the elements. You could see sugar dust on the serving bowl. Other Persian restaurants serve the sugar in a smaller covered bowl. Formal dining room. Lunch specials are Monday to Friday, 11 am to 3 pm, excluding holidays. Lunch prices range from $16-$20. 3 different $8 soup offerings: chicken barley, ashe reshteh, or green lentil.
