    LRG - SEASONED FRIES
    Leo V.

Eaten here many times and have been a fan since they opened as I do love me some wings. We ordered out tonight for some Monday night football. The Peking and Saigon was the first time I've tried it, they are both too sweet for my taste. The wings overall were cooked well, the garlic noodles were okay. I ordered regular fries and seasoned but got both seasoned. Can't say about service nor dine in since we got the food to go, but we have eaten here more times and service and ambience resembles much of a sports bar. To me, better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Does not blow your mind, but definitely good wings. Would love a challenge wing though. Spice is life

My husband and I have ordered from here quite a few times on DoorDash and I've never really thought that much, but tonight I got five different flavors. I've never ordered so many flavors that are just rubs, I usually get maybe a maximum of three flavors and at least one or two are sauces. Tonight, I got garlic Parmesan, Louisiana rub, California rub, teriyaki, and lemon pepper. The teriyaki flavor was the only one that was an actual sauce so it had a decent amount of flavor. All the other four flavors I could barely taste anything. The one major plus was that it all came steaming hot. Other than that, I was extremely underwhelmed with the flavors.

Fire wings is my go-to spot for flavorful wings. I have only been to two Fire wings location, the Center Parkway is my go to. I always order the garlic noodles, which are consistently delicious. The wings were cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of crispiness and seasoning. This time, I ordered a 6-piece combo and an 8-piece combo, totaling $33.25. For my combos, I chose garlic noodles, seasoned fries, and a drink. Everything was fresh and satisfying. I did dine-in and surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't too busy for a Friday night, which was a nice bonus. The space was clean and well-maintained, making the dining experience even better. Definitely a place I'll keep coming back to.

I do not understand the hype either fire wings ! They were okay at best ! I am not sure if it's because I live in Atlanta and their wings are unmatched but I wasn't wowed with fire wings and do not have to go back. I feel like the wings were fresh and the flavor was decent but they could have been more crispy. I may give then another chance but not in a rush to.

We came in with a group of four to dine in, and the employee Seisha helped us. She didn't greet us or show any friendliness--just had a straight face the whole time. Even though she saw us sit down to eat, she still gave us everything in to-go packaging. There was no effort to give good customer service, and it felt like she didn't want to be there. Not a great experience.

My wife and I used to go and get the garlic Parmesan, and the lemon pepper wings. They were good. Plump, juicy, and cooked very well. This last time however, the wings were incredibly small, had very little meat on their bones, and were dry and hard. Not to mention the fact that our order which usually ran around $40, was now almost $60. Very disappointed. Considering going somewhere else next time we want wings.

We waited a little long for our order. My guess is because their was only one person in charge of mobile orders, in person orders, and packaging the food. This Fire wings is close to the movies so it's a great place to grab fries and wings before a movie. I recommend the 20 pack: 3 flavors, 2 sauces, with fries, and with veggie sticks. Comes out to roughly $15/person. I really like garlic parmesan, Cali run, and Thai chili.

This business has only been downhill ever since their first year open. Wing sizes and portion sizes have only gone down while prices have increased. Should prices not be increasing in order to maintain those things? However, what made me feel the need to write this review is I haven't ate from this location for a while but these two tiny sauces for twenty wings is absolutely criminal! Their salt n pepper wings also used to be my go-to, but the seasoning on them now is mediocre at best. Rather take my business to Popeyes on God!

I then asked if there was any chance of being seated sooner as a walk-in, and Aubrey told me they had room for two at a table in the bar area. I specifically asked whether it was an actual table where we could comfortably order food, because I did not want to be stuck at some tiny corner setup where only one plate could fit. I also made it clear that it was my birthday and that I wanted something a little more formal and comfortable. I was told it would be in the front by the bar, not shoved in a corner, though it could be a little crowded if people were in the waiting area. When we arrived, the first issue was parking. For a first-time guest, parking was unnecessarily difficult to figure out, especially during a rainstorm. Since the restaurant is set up like a small house, it was not obvious where to park, and there was no clear sign letting us know there was parking around the back. Once we walked in, I immediately saw the table that had been described to us. It was right near the bar against the wall, and it was much smaller and more awkward than I had been led to believe. My girlfriend was wearing a dress, and because it was such a high table, it made it uncomfortable for her to sit naturally and comfortably. As soon as we sat down, I looked at the table and asked if we were really going to be able to order multiple items and eat comfortably there. I was told they would "pace it" and "make it work." That should have been the warning sign right there. We started with two ice waters, and even that nearly filled the table. They brought a pitcher and poured the water into the glasses. I asked for a separate cup of ice, and because there was so little room on the table, I had to ask the waiter to take the glass back and pour it for me so I would not spill everything. That is how cramped this setup was. We ordered the chicken breast special and a half dozen oysters. First came the garlic bread, and now we had bread, butter, two waters, silverware everywhere, and barely any room left. Then the oysters arrived, and everything had to be shifted around just to make it fit. At that point, the table had bread, oysters, hot sauce, waters, and multiple pieces of silverware for each guest, and it felt like one wrong move would send a glass to the floor. After we finished the oysters and bread, they cleared the table and brought out our entrée. We ordered the shareable chicken breast after I specifically asked whether it would be enough food for both of us. The waiter said it should be. In reality, it was about four small pieces of chicken once cut, three asparagus spears, and two very small scoops of mashed potatoes. For the price, it was honestly disappointing. I cannot remember the last time I paid that much at a nicer restaurant and still left hungry. What made it worse was that they knew it was my birthday and did absolutely nothing to acknowledge it. No small dessert, no candle, no gesture, nothing. Ironically, the only people who made the night feel special were another couple who had apparently been dining there for years. They overheard us mention it was my birthday and kindly bought us two sparkling wines. That was thoughtful, but it also added even more clutter to an already ridiculously tiny table. The service overall was underwhelming. We were barely checked on, and the whole experience felt awkward. The hostess kept staring at us throughout the meal, and at one point, she rolled her eyes when she went to take the Tabasco sauce, and we told her we still needed it for the chicken. For the prices Boulevard Bistro charges, I expected much better service, better communication, and a much more comfortable dining experience. Instead, the whole night felt misleading, cramped, and disappointing. I will not be coming back.

It seems like a tough crowd--but after my visit, I can see why expectations run high. My cheeseburger featured high-quality, freshly ground beef that was well-seasoned with a flavorful, salty crust. The patty was tender and juicy, exactly what you want from a handcrafted burger. The brioche bun was nicely toasted, and the cheese melted perfectly over the patties--both essential details that elevate a great cheeseburger. The burger was simply but thoughtfully assembled with shredded lettuce, sliced onion, pickles, and Butcher's aioli. Their house-made sauce added a nice depth of flavor without overpowering the beef. I appreciated how they kept the toppings classic and balanced--fresh, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, red onion, and tangy pickles complement the richness of the patty and sauce beautifully. The fries were just as impressive. They had that ideal contrast: an ultra-crispy, golden-brown exterior with a light, fluffy interior. Perfectly seasoned, pleasantly salty, not greasy, and sturdy enough to hold their shape--they checked all the boxes. Overall, they hit all the key elements of a truly great handcrafted cheeseburger and fries. High marks from me.

We had checked online and even called and were told no tables, but figured maybe we could grab a spot at the bar. When we walked in, I thought, " What's the harm in asking"...and somehow a table for two had just opened up. One of those meant-to-be moments. I started with a martini, which was great, and I ordered the macadamia crusted halibut special with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The fish itself was really good. The potatoes needed a little help, though. I definitely wish I had asked for extra sauce and a little salt and pepper, but I did appreciate that they tasted homemade with those bigger chunks. We also got the French onion soup to start, and that was so good. It had little tips of filet in it, and honestly, that might have been my favorite part of the whole meal. My husband ordered the stuffed chicken, and this is where things kind of went sideways. The chicken was really dry, and then halfway through, he bit down on what looked like a cherry pit. Definitely not something you expect, and kind of a mood killer. We called the waiter over, and they were very apologetic, and the service the entire night really was great. But between the dry chicken and that surprise, we were kind of done at that point. We were planning on dessert, but just didn't even feel like it anymore. That said, we've been here before and have had really great meals, which is why I wouldn't write it off. The service was great, everything was clean, and it still has that nice, classic feel. Also, a side note, I used the restroom before we left, and I have to say, as a mom, seeing an actual changing station with drawers and supplies made me so happy. I remember those flimsy fold down tables and being nervous using them, so this felt like such a thoughtful touch. They even had a bidet, which I tried to check out, but it wasn't working. Helpful tip: Get the French onion soup, and if your dish comes with a sauce...ask for extra. Not a perfect night, but enough good here that we'd come back again.

I immediately didn't like the location because I thought it would be hard to find parking. After looking at the menu, I was intrigued by the family style service, which I like but I wasn't excited about the food options. Oh well, it's a work dinner.... Finding a parking spot was indeed a bit difficult. It took me about 15 minutes until I got one within a few blocks. Maybe it's just me, but as big as the restaurant is, it didn't stand out from the street, which set me up for a Frank Lloyd Wright experience of entering through a small confined experience and then after crossing the threshold the space opening up in a big way. Inside, the restaurant seems spacious. It's open and airy. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by a friendly greeter who showed me to the table. After sitting down, a waiter greeted me and asked me for a drink order within a minute or two. We were off to a good start! There were already some appetizer-type dishes on the table. I had no idea what they were but they looked interesting and I was hungry. Wow! They were tasty. Over a couple hours, I sampled all kinds of dishes and every one of them was excellent! It wasn't super dill forward, but it was a solid pickle. The pickled beets were wonderful. I love beets, and these golden ones were no different. Lastly, the pickled squash that they made in a bread and butter version. It was a subtle bread and butter, which was good because normally I do not like bread and butter. I really enjoyed this plate.  I know a cab isn't normally the wine of choice with fish, but I wanted a cab, so that is what I got. Specifically, the Cabernet Sauvignon from Rama (2020) in Napa Valley. It was a nice glass of wine, but I wish it was in a better glass.

Despite the chaos, all of the staff handled it so well, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our server Madison was fun, funny, and handled a stressful situation with so much grace, while also serving two tables of twenty-plus guests each. Not to mention, all of the food was f$cking fantastic and the pours were strong! Highly recommend the Korean friend chicken and poke nachos. All of this to say, we don't live in Sacramento but we will definitely be back when we're in town thanks to Madison and the wonderful staff.

We were lucky enough to find parking right in front, which felt like a win because parking in this area is pretty tight (and we didn't notice any handicap spots nearby). We were seated right away on a quiet Tuesday evening. Our waitress was friendly, though she wasn't very present throughout the meal. We did have to flag down another server a few times for quick questions, but it wasn't a big deal since we weren't in a rush. We started with their happy hour Justin Cabernet, which was flavorful and a great way to kick things off. For appetizers, we ordered the tuna poke nachos (with rice instead and no sauce), the giant pretzel, and the sweet and spicy shrimp--grilled instead of breaded to keep it gluten-free, which we really appreciated. For our entrees, we both chose the salmon--mine without sauce and hers as prepared. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. We ended up taking half home for our husbands to try... bonus meal for them!
