I ordered the cheesesteak along with the lamb gyro combo with fries. The cheesesteak was pretty good overall, but the portion was on the smaller side and it could've used a bit more seasoning to really make it stand out. The lamb gyro combo was decent, and the fries were solid. Nothing blew me away, but the food was enjoyable and satisfying. I'd definitely eat here again when I'm in the area. read more

The food was great, not Michelin star 5 stars but 5 stars for great local spot. It's hard finding food with flavor here as I've tried many overhyped cheesesteak places here in Vegas and the food lacked flavor. At this restaurant it had a lot of flavor very good cheesesteak. The gyro was good, good flavors, fresheness... the cheesesteak was average at best. If this is the best in town like advertised then we are in serious trouble :-) My bread was overtoasted on the inside, the white american lacked creaminess and the overall needed seasoning, just basic salt. Gyro express has really good customer service. I was quickly greeted upon entering the restaurant. They have a very extensive menu with lots of tasty looking items. Unfortunately the burger and fries that I ordered was a bit unsatisfactory. The fries were overcooked/hard and the burger patty which makes the burger was bland & underwhelming. So as far as their burgers go, it's gonna be a hard pass for me, but I would pay them another visit to try other menu items. I won't be back. The food is super bland and mid. The Philly tasted like nothing but black pepper -- I even added cheese at home because it had barely any. No other taste. Very great food, high quality ingredients. We were just visiting Las Vegas and when we tried this, we kind of took a gamble on a random gyro spot. Well, I'll tell you what. This is a great place with one man running the show. He cooked all of our food. We had three people and five plates, everything is made to order and I tell you I could not eat it until I let it cool down because it came straight off the grill. Very, very good place to eat. Very clean restaurant. Dining room is very nice and quiet with a basketball game going on. PJ is the man, he does a great job! I've been coming here for several years for the Philly cheese steak ! The food is amazing. PJ can really hold down the kitchen. He is a man of many jobs in here. His co worker was in the bathroom for the majority of my meal, lobby is slammed with people and orders and he did amazing busting it all out. Stopped in here for something local, philly was really tasty and seasoned really well, only thing is, it was dry. We did add Mayo which made it a lot more tastier. The strips are a pretty good size. Fries are yummy. The customer service is where it's at though, really friendly people, just welcoming and genuinely appreciate your business. My coworker from Chicago wanted to try some good authentic Mediterranean food and that was the closest spot we found in the area at the time. We ordered the food and noticed immediately the pita bread started falling apart. The meat i could tell was a freezer type of meat, not made in store. I could tell because i saw the employee pouring ranch from a bottle into containers so i knew nothing in there was homemade, it was from a bottle or frozen to make it easier for them. Kinda sucks considering I've always wanted to try this place and even my friend was pissed i took them there. When we got to Las Vegas, it was late, but this place was open. Everything was good, but beef was very dry. We got plate and wrap, they gave us a sauce on the side. Even by adding all of the sauce, didn't make it any better. read more

These fellas deserve their 5 stars. The place is super clean. That is important for a clean freak like me. The menu is easy to read. My wife and I shared the Philly cheesesteak with grilled onions, mushrooms and onion rings. The comments about the quality of the onion rings were on point. Crispy and enjoyable. Fast friendly service from Mike! Great classic gyro here. I came on a Monday and Ryan and Mike took care of me. Mike even checked to see if I was enjoying my gyro. This is quick food and I wasn't expecting any interaction after grabbing my hot fresh gyro. Mike is one of those guys that only ever met friends and strangers are just friends he hasn't met yet. Walked in around 6pm and the place was empty. The two employees welcomed us warmly though. We wanted to try a variety of the offerings so we ordered 2 cheesesteaks with mushrooms and onions, an order of French fries, onion rings and an order of chicken wings. I asked for no salt on the fries and onion rings as I have a low salt dietary restriction. We got all the food for takeout btw. We live only less than ten minutes away and everything was still nice and hot when we got home. The cheesesteaks were decent .. I've definitely had better but the steak was juicy and the bread was nice and soft. The onion rings were pretty good but here's the problem .. the fries were not only seasoned but were overly salted when I specifically asked for no salt and they said no problem. The wings were tiny and overcooked and super dry. I might give their cheesesteaks a second chance but will not get anything else. read more

Yesterday my friend invited me to have dinner here at Gyro Express, I have never eaten here before I have never eaten a Philly cheese steak sandwich nor have I ever tasted lamb so to be able to try all 3 in one day is crazy. I had half of a Philly cheese steak and also had half of the Philly steak and lamb sandwich and I have to say it was delicious . The flavor of the lamb and steak was a combination ive never had before and it was amazing. The meats were juicy and tender . My kids had these huge burgers and fries with homemade tzatziki sauce and it delicious it was also delicious I dipped my Philly in the sauce lol so good. I wanna point out that the place itself was super clean and I love that nothing like going into a place to eat and you just know if the sitting area is clean the rest has gotta be clean and cleanliness matters to management. I love the atmosphere we literally watched the cook make all this food and that was cool. The customer service was awesome we wanted extra tzatzik sauce and the chef didnt mind giving it to us. Ironically, the food came out in an impressive 5 minutes, and no one else ordered after us (so why the attitude about being busy). The food: The food absolutely hit the spot: Dirty Fries: Hot, crunchy (not burnt), and incredibly tasty. Bronx Bomber Salad: Great balance of flavors with crisp, fresh lettuce. Porchetta Sandwich: Juicy, flavorful pork. Glad I asked for the sauces on the side, as it let the three distinct flavors shine. The Verdict The food is excellent and the kitchen is fast, but the service needs a vibe check. It's also frustrating to be forced into a default 18% | 20% | 22% tip prompt on the screen before experiencing anything other than a cold interaction. I tipped 18% because folks need to make a living, but the front-of-house attitude didn't earn it.

Their cheesesteaks are always fresh and delicious, very flavorful and they use high quality ingredients. You can definitely taste the difference. We have ordered: a chicken cheesesteak combo, boneless wings and bacon chipotle cheesesteak. Whatever you order on the menu, you cannot go wrong. All of their cheesesteaks are juicy and flavorful! As a unique combination you can experience Sbarro (next door inside the Conoco gas station) which is also brand new store recently opened. We have tried their pizza, bread sticks and Stromboli's. It was delicious and tasted fresh, because they hand made their dough fresh every day. We highly recommend it, if you are passing by and want some freshly made and delicious quick lunch.
