This evening, my husband and his close friend went out to purchase sandwiches for the three of us. They placed an order for a grilled Italian sandwich, a steak sandwich, and a French dip. The grilled Italian was supposed to have double meat, cheese, grilled onions, and extra sweet peppers; however, it arrived without double meat, cheese, grilled onions, or sweet peppers and had just lettuce and tomatoes on it. This was entirely incorrect! Additionally, the French dip was ordered with double meat, cheese, and au jus, but it too was delivered without double meat, very little cheese, and no au jus. They had to go back inside to get the au jus. The steak sandwich contained minimal meat, primarily concentrated on one side of the sub. The total cost was $50! I was extremely disappointed and feel that Capriotti's has significantly declined in quality over the past few years. How is it possible to get three sandwiches wrong? I attempted to call as soon as we realized our order was incorrect. A woman answered, and I requested to speak with the manager, but I was placed on hold for five minutes without any response. Dirty. Went for the first time couple weeks ago. Ordered an Italian and took it home. Took couple bites and then found a nice long piece of hair in my bite. Gross. It's definitely not my hair considering I'm bald. I emailed corporate, someone called me the next day. Said she was gonna look into it. It's been weeks after the call and there's no follow up. Stopped here with my family for lunch. Love the three sizes of sandwiches or four if you count the extra long perfect try son and daughter. My husband really enjoyed his warm Italian sandwich. He felt it was very good. My daughter also enjoyed her sandwich. My son got a Philly cheesesteak made with just meat and cheese the way he loves it and devoured it. I ordered the Cobb salad minus olives, on the receipt it said no olives, but the salad came with olives a lot of olives the dressing was good and nice vinaigrette. Nice mixture of greens tomato slices were not chopped up at all, and all the meat was sucked together a little difficult to eat, but taste good, all in all I would recommend them. Mama was hungry! We stopped in for a quick bite. I knew Capriotti's had a good sandwich reputation, so we were comfortable with anything that was on the menu. We asked the gentleman at the register what he would recommend, and he said, The Bobbie. So my husband orders The Bobbie, and I order the Impossible Cheese Steak, which has plant-based protein. I was happy with the Impossible Cheese Steak, which was a hot sandwich with grilled onions and mushrooms...ye-uuuuum! The Bobbie? NO! If you want cold Thanksgiving leftovers, which has cold shredded turkey, cold cranberry sauce and cold stuffing....it was nothing special AT ALL! My hubby took 2 bites, and couldn't get himself to like it. And THIS, was the recommendation? Go with your instincts, folks! Was out trying to find a good cheesesteak. Saw the good reviews of Capriotti's so we stopped in to try one. Ordered the cheesesteak with all 3 peppers. I had the new worker in training making mine. Asked his co-worker questions each step of making the sandwich, but the trainer was busy at the register most of the time, so he just kind of winged it. Maybe that's why the sandwich came out so bad. We got a variety of sandwiches, including the hot Bobbie (turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and Mayo), classic cheese steak, and grilled cheese sandwiches. The sandwiches range in size from half (5inch) to large (18inch!). The kids meals come with your choice of sub (5 inch) and apple juice & craisins. I noticed that when you order online, you can add up to 3 grilled cheese sandwiches to your order (under kid's meals). The grilled cheese alone is a reason to try this place! I like Capriotti's a lot. I wouldn't say love, but I like it a lot. I only eat one sandwich here, the Capastrami. It's hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and coleslaw. It's sooo good. The pastrami itself is soft and flavorful and the coleslaw adds a nice cooling crunch. Their bread is super soft too, which is a plus. I can't stand hard bread. I know they are also famous for the Bobbie sandwich. However, I am not a fan. Gasp!! I just don't like Thanksgiving food so I'm not about to have it in a sandwich. The employees have always been super friendly. I came here once when I was having a terrible day and I think the employee noticed. He cracked a small joke. When in Vegas, we try to stop off and grab a sammie from Capriotti's. They have several locations which are usually in strip malls. Food is made fresh. Medium and large sandwiches are good and have plenty of fixings. The small size was light on meat with the cheese steak but the Capistrami was well balanced. To the folks who closed the Capriotti's shop on 2/4/21 on Blue Diamond: We called your establishment 15 min before closing asking if you were still accepting orders for pick up considering. You accepted our order over the phone and we promptly came to pick up our order as we live just down the street. We even gave a tip. We received a note on the sandwich wrapper that read, "seriously?" which was extremely rude. In addition, the peppers on the cheesesteak sandwich were so excessive that the sandwich was inedible. This has gotta be the best Capriotti's in the SW area. I live near Blue Diamond and I drive past 3 Capriotti's (BD/Cimarron, BD/Dec, and SouthernHighlands) to get to this one. There has to be some franchising stuff going down and those 3 Capriotti's are under new management because they just don't hit the same! They're the definition of shrinkflation and I refuse to support that, esp when you're paying PREMIUM PRICES for a sandwich. On the other hand, this Silverado one is still holding strong! This location has gone downhill rapidly. I called in a pick up order for a cheesesteak x2 meat & x2 cheese. I was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I showed up to pay and pick it up 13 minutes after ordering. The manager rang me up and I paid. She then asked the cook if he had the order? His answer, "I'm gonna start it now". It took him another 13 minutes to make the sandwich. I left the place 29 minutes after ordering. A woman that came in 4 minutes after me and placed her order in the restaurant, received her order first(one of her items was a cheesesteak, that was put on the grill after mine) as mine sat on the counter getting cold. All of the above is irritating, but not even what got me the most. They are now using precooked meat and then cooking the hell out of it. Yes, precooked meat being cooked another 13 minutes is exactly what happened. The meat was certainly not the steak they served before. It ate like straight ground beef, that was pulverized. It was also the exact same size as the woman's order, when she did not order double meat and cheese like I did. I even asked the cook and he replied yes. With an attitude and zero eye contact. It seems like the medium roll is also smaller(shrinkflation). The quality of this cheesesteak was absolute shit. If all Capriotti's have made these changes they will be out of business in a year. Quality is what they were known for. I paid $20 for a sandwich that tasted like it was made with $1.99 ground beef. So disappointing. read more

Stopped in for lunch and was greeted immediately, all the staff are attentive and welcoming. If you have never had the bobbie then you must try it if its your first time. I had the italian classic which has turkey, ham, lettuce, pickles and onions with black pepper. The bread was fresh and a medium is perfect size almost a foot long like most sub shops. The large is 18" i believe and you can split or eat and save for another meal because its that big. Overall great staff and fresh ingredients one of the best sandwiches in town. read more

Came in on a Monday around lunch time and was pleased to find that there was no wait. If you're a local, there's plenty of shared parking with the rest of the businesses in this strip center. After hearing Capriotti's may be coming to KC and checking out their website; I was really excited to have a Thanksgiving type sandwich (The Bobbie) out of season. And, well, I'm not sure if it was my expectations being too high or the sandwich just being what it's supposed to be, but I wasn't blown away. The turkey was seasoned well, but dry as a bone. The cranberry sauce was fairly flat. And even the stuffing was kind of dry. Had to buy a 2nd drink just to finish the sandwich. That being said, it was still tasty, just way too dry (even with extra mayo). If they do come to KC, I'm going to go back and try some of the other sandwiches as the jury is still out. I got the steak sandwich and added extra onions and included both spicy and sweet peppers. Heaven! This location made the same great sandwiches I've come to love and know as I pass through Vegas. So, why just three stars if the food is so good? Well, this location has two major defects: no restroom and no free water or even a soda fountain. So, my wife ran off with the kids to the Del Taco to use their restroom and, admittedly, to purchase a large, inexpensive soda. The service was good. Love that the turkey is cooked and shredded in house - if you haven't tried it, my fave is the "Cole Turkey" or the "Bobbie". I always get the 20'' large to get the best bang for my buck and ask them to cut it into 4 pieces to share (or save it for myself later!) The staff at all locations are pretty friendly and are always open to any customizations you have for your sandwich. They never have it ready and usually are just starting it as I arrive so there's no point to order online because they do not pay attention to the online orders.
