This place was super popular and busy when we went. They have a decent sized menu, I ordered a standard beef/lamb gyro and baklava. Customer service was great, the man at the cashier was very cheery and friendly with everyone in line. Once we ordered and got our number we scrambled to claim a table. The wait time wasn't long. My friends got a Greek fries, falafel, and gyro plate to share. All the food was exceptionally delicious and as expected. The falafel was a nice surprise since it wasn't dry and had a great dipping sauce. I would only advise against the baklava because I wish it had more nuts, it tasted more like honey and dough. Otherwise solid spot and will come back soon!!

I always get this at the Fremont sunday market. One of the best gyros I've had. Really love the soft pita bread and the fries are incredible. I just wish the portions were a little bigger. I usually get the chicken solvaki gyro the chicken is super well cooked. Very quick service bc it's coming out of a food truck for me. Highly recommend.

Haven't tried a gyro in many years decided to try again. I will say the meal came out super fast. The bathroom has a bidet, which is the first time I've ever seen that in a restaurant. I ordered the lamb and beef shwarma plate, it was alright, but the price was too high imo. I should have just got a wrap. They had a busy stream of pickup orders the whole time I was there. This kind of food just isn't my thing, I guess.

Greek fries: look at all that sauce and feta cheese! SO good!

Just got the Greek fries and they are AMAZING! Tons of sauce and feta cheese yet still super crispy. Not sure how they do it, but I was blown away. Staff there is always very friendly and generous as well. Their super veggie sandwich is incredible as well. Perfect for a vegetarian who doesn't want to feel deprived. A+++

Wow the food at this place blew me away! I've been meaning to check this place out and after an appointment in West Seattle, I stopped by to order takeout. I ordered the gyro plate and the greek fries. They had a tv playing a world cup game so that helped pass the time pretty quickly - maybe just under a ten minute wait. The guys working behind the counter were very kind! Excellent customer service. The food was incredible. The smell on the drive home was irresistible. The flavors are amazing. And the food is very garlicky which I love. The Greek fries which are covered in spices and feta and white sauce was delicious. And the fries were cooked perfect. Like a nice crunch and crisp on the outside, but fluffy inside. I loved these fries. The gyro on the gyro plate was soooo good. Tender pieces of yummy meat. The rice underneath was good and with the white sauce, every spoonful I ate was so good. The plate also came with this cucumber and tomato salad which was refreshing. And there was also a piece of pita bread and a dip (wasn't hummus but maybe a white colored dip (maybe tzatziki??). It was so much food! The plate and the fries is like two or three meals worth or definitely good for sharing. They share a small parking lot with the Starbucks and they take credit card. Enjoy!

The service was very fast! They even accommodated me to do half chicken gyro and have regular gyro meat. I was not sure if it was chicken gyro or chicken shawarma meat that they gave. Overall it was tasty.

A great middle eastern fast food spot. Close to Alki beach, with parking, great flavors, portions, prices, and staff personalties- what more could you ask for! Highly recommend trying their greek fries- it's topped with delicious garlic sauce and feta!

4.5 Stars. MSFT provided free lunch and Gyro Heroes stepped up and hit a home run! Wow, the pork belly itself is sooooo good. They are cube chunk, good size of meat with the perfect amount of fat juciness. I found myself with each bite trying to slow down cuz I didn't want it to end! Had this place bookmarked for the longest time, but was always not in the neighborhood. Now I know they are worthy of making that special trip for. Bonus was the the gal and guy in the truck were super friendly and smiley. Loved it!!!

Great food. But when asked about the 3% service charge, they had no clue. No signage posted anywhere

Wow this is without a doubt my favorite Mediterranean spot in Seattle and possibly that I've ever had! The portion is huge, the ingredients are fresh, everything was deliciously balanced, and it came out beautiful! Can't forget the employees are incredibly nice and the food came out so quickly. This place is popular for a reason, you have to come by and give them a try! I got the Gyro Plate and it was plenty of food for two meals for me and reheated well too. I absolutely love this place and will be back so soon!!

This place is amazing. We got a variety of items such as shawarma and the gyro sandwich, as well as the salad which was mine... Such a beautiful and delicious Greek salad. Tons of meat and veggies galore. I looked like I was doing a bicep curl while holding my to go bag because the salad alone was a good few pounds of food. And not just beefed up with lettuce. It was a good ratio of meat to veggies and feta cheese, and the sauce was AMAZING! I don't live in the neighborhood but I'll make a point of stopping in whenever I'm on my way home from alki. Been here a couple times now. Fantastic. Great gyros, falafel, and hummus. The guys running it are wonderful and care about their product. I even liked the shawarma. (Not usually my go-to.) Finding a good gyro is far more difficult on the west coast than it was in Chicago. These guys come the closest out of anywhere I've lived in California or Washington. Gonna try the fries and some baba ghanoush next time. read more

Great addition to West Seattle neighborhood. Ordered shwarma platter- it was good, wish there was a little bit more meat. Wife ordered gyro sandwich/ and she ate everything. Hummus was very smooth and prepared very well. Pita was a little dry. Overall it was not a bad gyro- the people working there were very nice and cordial. read more

Yum! I've been here twice, once in person and once I ordered takeout, food was delicious both times. If you want Greek/Mediterranean food, this is a great place to go. This is a great stop if you need a quick lunch or dinner. The interior is, while clean, kinda fast foodie. If you want a finer dining atmosphere I recommend takeout or ordering home, although if you eat there, you can watch the chef cook your food. read more

The anticipation was getting to be too much. Took so long for these guys to open, but it was worth the wait. Clean, fresh food with all the right amounts of good seasonings. We tried a few items in our group, Gyro great, Shawarma great, dolmas good, hummus good and the salad is tasty. My only suggestion is to add Red Hot or Louisiana Hot Sauce to the offerings. It's the kind of hot sauce that creates a savory effect and does not overpower like the sambal-type hot sauce in use now. The gyro guy in Pike's Place has been using Frank's Red Hot for decades! Great fluffy rice as well. Suggestion - park down the street. The lot is tough with all the Starbucks cars. read more

1. The best babaganoush I've ever had. Nice pieces of roasted eggplant, balanced flavor. Authentic and delicious. 2. Delicious Greek salad with gyro meat. Generous portion. Nice, fresh tzatziki dressing. (Some Greek salads are too acidic, with dressings that are too heavy on lemon juice for my taste.) This one was a winner. My only suggestion would be that the gyro meat be less heavy with powdered seasoning; let the flavor of the meats come through. I loved Gyro Heroes and will be back very soon. read more

TONS OF VEGAN OPTIONS! This place is great - has great vegan options and non-vegan options. The people working here are super friendly and the food is delicious. Great casual spot to grab dinner to go or for dinning in. Great to have such an amazing spot in West Seattle. Vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu too! read more

Got the chance to have lunch today at the newly opened Gyro Heroes. What a treat it was... the traditional beef/lamb gyro was excellent and a nice size. The pita was like a warm fluffy pillow and the meat a sauce was so dang good. I rounded out the meal with an order of Greek fries which were equally good. The fries were super crispy which allowed them to hold up nicely to the ample tzatziki sauce and feta cheese. Note that the fry orders are very big - too much for one person, but perfect to share. (sorry no pics - next time) The crew was super friendly and service was quick. Parking is limited so I would suggest parking on one of the side streets. Do yourself a favor and give this new West Seattle restaurant a try. read more

West Seattle needed a good, fast gyro spot and this place did not disappoint. I came here for dinner tonight with my husband. I ordered the falafel plate, which came with rice, hummus, falafel, Greek Salad and warm pita bread. Hubs ordered the chicken shawarma plate. Both were yummy. Portions and prices were decent. Plus, there's parking right out front! Already planning my return visit! read more

We drove all the way from Kent to try this place out and I have to say I was NOT disappointed! Probably THE best chicken shawarma plate I've had in Seattle. These guys are awesome. Professional, kind and attentive. Grateful for the parking. I was a big Kokoras Greek Grill guy back before the owners went back to Greece. The lamb and beef gyro here cannot compare unfortunately. The pita bread is okay. The meat seems buried under a plethora of veggies and some cheese. The Dolmas were on point. Exactly what a dolma should taste like. The Sweet Potato fries were above average. The Baklava was also above average. I recommend you check this spot out. read more

My grandkids and I love this place ! Our go to lunch spot now. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. I am on crutches, and if they spot me in time they leap to open the door, and they bring our food to the table. I love that the twins eat such healthy food. My standard for urban living is whether you can walk to get falafel, and I am so lucky to have this amazing food in my neighborhood. It's a family business focused on delivering authentic falafel and shawarma to West Seattle. They are friendly and remember who you are when you walk in. The falafel is fresh, crisp on the outside, and meaty on the inside--not too oily. It is terrific on a salad or in a pita. The shawarma is perfect and has the right amount of cumin and aromatic spices. Their fries with garlic tzatziki are worth a visit on their own. They have a tasty baklava too. read more

Came here last week and had a pretty good first experience. Great customer service. As soon as we walked in, the employees greeted my wife and I. Food was cooked pretty fast and it was very affordable. We got their hummus, lamb gyro and gyro plate and it was pretty delicious. The portions were nice and big as well. The. Best. Greek. Food. Ever. This place is seriously bomb. The food is super fresh and flavorful and the people who work here are crazy nice. My one suggestion would be to double check your order before taking off, because occasionally things are missed. The experience is still top notch aka 5 star because the issue is not carelessness, they're just a small business that can get incredibly busy but it is always worth it. read more

It took the male manager to ask me if I've been helped before someone came over. I was going to leave. Then I noticed the ice cream line was lime and the young lady, Asian, was do her best to keep up while 3 others on that wide were also gathered laughing it up and offered her no help. Summer is here and I really hope they have discussions with their employees about customer service. It would be really nad business to lose customers because of lazy employees that are more concerned with socializing with each other. In this tough economy it is important to receive good service for money spent. Molly Moon is down the street with impeccable service it would be ashame to lose good business to them.

grey, rainy post holiday sunday had me craving something…read morethat generated memories of far away. i realized a good bahn mi would really help the spirits but my go to place wasn't open so i turned to yelp to find a place with good reviews. turns out gion is spitting distance from where i work during the week, so this made me even more curious as it could become a place i could stop by for take out on my way home. i didn't order ahead but you can. i opted to walk in and they were busy making two separate orders for people who had paid and were waiting. there were also two other orders sitting waiting for pick up so this seemed like a good sign. i ordered and paid and less than 10 minutes later i was walking out with a hefty sized sandwich that i didn't think id be able to finish. i was wrong. the bread is crispy and fresh and the sandwich is full of veggies and usual bahn mi toppings. it was quite good and i appreciated the heat level of the jalapeños playing off the cooling effect of the carrots pickled daikon. the sandwich disappeared so you be the judge. i think i found a place i'll return to, for another sandwich and also one of their various flavored milk teas. definitely a neighborhood business that's probably best accessed on foot but i think there may be a poor pick up loading zone right out front. definitely choose take out as there are no tables and a very small counter if you're thinking of eating there but in my mind this would be a perfect place to hit up on a lovely weekend day before going down to alki and scarfing their flavorful creations down!

I love this place, I've never been in person, but we go there all the time. The Greek fries are to die for, I'm obsessed with them! My husband always gets the shawarma and I always get the gyro. I will say, they have the option to add extra meat on the app, which is great, but they don't have an option to note which dish you want extra meat for. For some reason they always assume we want extra meat on the shawarma instead of asking, but we want it on the gyro. That's the only reason I took off one star, if they didn't do this one annoying thing they would be 5/5 from me. read more

I've been waiting for Gyro Heroes to open for months now and I'm so happy they have finally opened! When I walked in for the first time, I was greeted with smiles from the staff and I noticed right away how clean and organized the restaurant was. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and Greek Fries, and it's was amazing. The food tasted so fresh, tasty, and original, which was a big change from the usual bland tasting gyro places we have here in Seattle.
