My husband and son went around 9 an hour before they close. The woman taking their order was rude and seemed annoyed taking their order. He also had ordered chicken souvlaki skewer since it states on their website menu chicken souvlaki but it is really chicken gyro it needs to be re-worded. When he asked for the skewer she rudely tried ti argue with him about what was on the website. The line cook had told her to give my husband and son a free drink since they had to wait a bit and he probably felt embarrassed from how she was acting and she had physically said to the line cook in front of my husband and 8 year old son " they shouldn't have come in this late ". I'm sorry but if you are open until 10 o'clock it doesn't matter you're open and it was an hour before they closed. RUDE RUDE RUDE! Food was mediocre nothing special to go through this experience. Wait at the counter was terrible only to have food flung over the counter at me when it was quickly rushed together. This is the Small Greek Salad we received which had browning lettuce with rotten cucumbers which can make you very sick and a terrible taste... total waste of money as I was scared to eat it in fear of getting sick . Service was sub par for what I would consider acceptable and no one was following current county standards with COVId-19 precautions/ requirements. I go to Gyro King usually at least once a week, they have excellent service, get the mail ready within 15 to 20 minutes after your order, and friendly staff. It can be a pain to pull out of the parking lot at rush-hour, which is my only complaint. I am a veryy big fan of the gyros, shlomo gourmet across the street is my favorite restaurant in this town, but these gyros are hard to beat. Get their tzatziki side with it. I don't think their chicken wings are that great, but if you get them buy one get one it's not too bad. The pizza is brick oven and I would say the quality is in between chain pizzerias and mom and pop authentic italian ones. You really can't go wrong with the pizza either. The Philly cheese steaks are good, I would get them all the time if they had a better Monday special for them. the Greek salads with potato salad are to die for if that's what you're looking for, although I like the variety of salads and creativity of the restaurant across the street more. Overall, I highly recommend this place for the most part. 9/10 read more

We've been going to Gyro King since moving to the neighborhood in 2010. They have great sandwiches, gyros and lots of other tasty treats. If you like tater tots, you must try these. They're crispy, salty and amazing. The sandwiches and gyros are huge, typically enough meat for two regular-sized sandwiches. They offer a Monster Gyro, but I wouldn't order it unless splitting with a few people. To make things even better, they opened a brick oven pizza parlor next door, so you can pick up a gyro, tots and a large pizza all in one trip. read more

I used to come here often when I worked in Palm Harbor, so when I found myself in the area again and was in the mood for a gyro, I thought of this place first. Too bad I didn't read the Yelp review first, as I wouldn't have set foot in the place. Members of the staff don't wear masks, and the cook doesn't wear gloves either. Yes... The food is really good, but I will certainly miss it because I will not be back. The reason why I will not be back is the menu says my Gyro was going to be $8.50, When they rang up my Gyro, they said well they're getting new menu boards so the Gyro will be $9.75. That's too bad if you would get a drink and a fry with it, but there were no fries, they were extra and I ordered a small drink and it cost me $3.00 For a small fountain drink that is ridiculous. Then on top of that, I used a credit card so they charged me a credit card fee of $50 cents. So my dinner last night was $13.25 and I got a small Coke and a gyro without any fries. read more
