Probably closer to a 3.5, since the portions are decent, staff are friendly, and restrooms are clean, but I think Cava has better quality and variety (unless you specifically want 'gyro' meat) Pricing is okay, $11.99 for the bowls, and $9.99 for the sandwich. Personally, I'd get a bowl since you can fit more ingredients. My sandwich was overflowing, and I don't think I added too many ingredients. The chicken was kinda meh, definitely prefer Cava's. Getting any sort of hummus will cost you $1.50. As for the non-food: lots of space inside, plenty of parking. They do have a membership program, and happy hour and reverse happy hour, if that's your thing. On one occasion, they were randomly closed when we visited, and there was no sign outside saying why (definitely not a holiday). Another guy came and was similarly confused. I was disappointed with my recent experience at Gyro Republic. I was overcharged for my meal and noticed that I was charged twice for the chicken entrée, even though I never asked for extra chicken. The food was decent, but billing accuracy is very important. Customers should not have to double-check receipts for charges they never requested. So for starters the food has never been a problem, it's the closest thing I can get at a convenience. I've never had issues going into the establishment but everytime I order (thru their website) I have an issue. It's only been 3 times but this time I chose to complain because it was inedible. They offer the most options out of any gyro place I know and even better, a lot of them are free! For $12, I ordered a regular bowl with ~8 toppings such as chickpeas, corn, and pickles, none of which added extra charges. To all my fellow spice fanatics, I would be careful with overdoing the spice level. I chose every spicy option -- spicy rice, spicy chicken, red hot sauce, you name it -- all of which were easy to tolerate except the red hot sauce. I asked for 3 lines of red hot sauce and ended up sweating the entire time. Choose carefully! Great value, great food, and great employees too. Much like Chipotle, I swear you get more if you order it as a bowl, so that's become my go-to option. I love the gyro meat, but my wife prefers the chicken depending on the mood she's in. After you select your base (rice/greens), protein (gyro, chicken, falafel), you move on to various toppings and sauces to really customize your dish. The majority of the toppings are free, though certain items, or double-items, come with an additional charge. My wife enjoyed the small salad bowl with tons of veggies of her choosing and some classic hummus. I enjoyed a gyrito with spicy chicken (it was!) and spicy rice (it was!) and a plethora of veggiess i picked....it was almost too hot for me....nothing a second trip to the soda fountain couldn't fix. I was here because I needed some printing done at FedEx Office next door. As I walked toward, I smell something delicious. I saw the lunch special on an easel sign but there was no price. Once I walked in, I saw 2 menus, one on the counter divider and one above. The menu is confusing. Menu board is right to left, like Hieroglyphs. Order instruction on the counter divider is hard to read through a clear glass panel. Stupid me that I signed up for loyalty program before trying the food. The medium bowl stuffed me good, though. I'll try other proteins after inflation is cool down. Yeah, $12 lunch is little beyond my budget. read more

Love this place. I am obsessed with the Gyro Rice bowl. The meat is so juicy and just goes perfectly with the toppings and a side of hummus. They also have a rewards program which I'm pretty sure has saved me over $50 already. I have yet to try all the sauces because the basic white sauce is just too good. This place is good stuff most of the time is friendly. Food is delicious. The only thing is that I would not recommend Is to come there after 10 pm. Stuff is clearly doesn't want to see you there. They play phone and listen to their music. Any question you ask them is being ignored. My best guess is their manager is out of this location and stuff doesn't care much about work. If you can't find a Hala guys near you this is a slightly lesser alternative. I ordered the Chicken Philly and Gyro Philly but with pita bread. The gyro was very good and full of flavor, a tad on the salty side but overall good and the meat was nice and tender. The Sauce I used a.. I forgot the sauce but it's a blueish sauce that starts with a "t" that was really good. It lacked somewhat of a punch but it had a nice cool somewhat sour flavor to it. The chicken was somewhat of a disappointment though. It had a nice seasoning to it that kicked in towards the end of each bite but outside of that the chicken lacked flavor. I'll stop by here again sometime but I'll prob get a side of humus to add some flavor and I'll just get all gyro meat. read more

And the percent of meat in the sandwich was low They don't have tzatziki sauce, instead they have a "Mayo-based" white sauce which I avoided (mayo is evil) which also detracts from the experience. My POV is that tzatziki (yogurt-cucumber) sauce is a critical part of the gyro experience The guy working couldn't understand "gyro sandwich" so I had to say "pita sandwich" to make him happy.
