Stopped by Tony's Bakery for so dessert. It was late in the afternoon and there wasn't much available. So, I grabbed the mung bean dessert, and 1 lb of the fried shrimps with head on. With the dessert, it was good, and it was very kind of one of the ladies that worked there to warm it up for me. She let me know that it would be better that way, which it did! Softened it up a bit. As for the shrimps, I probably should've ate them sooner rather than later. By the time I wanted to enjoy them the crunch was gone!! I think coming here earlier in the day would be better. You'll have more food or desserts to choose from. What can I say about the ambience. It's a small deli in Seattle. Outside parking lot looks a little sketchy, but lots of parking. The inside is pretty small and not lots of walking space. But you're just grabbing your food and go.

As a native Seattleite, I've been coming to this deli since I was little and have tried a good number of things here from their vermicelli noodle boxes (loaded and filled) to their banh mi sandwiches (which I need to give another try) to even their milk tea with flan (don't really recommend). This place is located in a plaza bordering MLK and sits near Happy Lemon and Ding Feng Seafood Restaurant. This will be my second time mentioning this, but be nearly perfect with your parking because parking enforcement is still unforgiving here... or at least it still feels that way. A sign inside this deli even warns you about this. As for the inside, it's like your regular deli with a ton of foods placed on tables, random refrigerated goods and behind-the-counter fried foods. I went here with my mom this time around to grab their mango salad, egg rolls, nem nuong (Viet grilled pork sausage) and cha lua (Vietnamese ham). Everything's really good to say the least! The egg rolls have a great ratio of filling and meat (as in there isn't more of one than the other), and their mango salad always hits. Both meats are also solid too here. They do offer the mango salad as a party tray but you can also ask them to take a portion of it, and you would pay by weight instead. This place is a go-to for me whether I want something quick, something good or both. Very high recommend from a Seattle native!

No frills classic bahn mi shop. There's pre-made food in the front and there's also a buffet for hot food. There isn't anywhere to sit. Service was quick! I got the cold cut bahn mi. It came with all the classic toppings, cilantro, cucumber, jalapeños, pickled daikon and carrots, and a pate. The size was smaller than what I'm typically used to and it also isn't as stuffed. However, considering the price of ~$7 for one it's of decent value.

If you're in South Seattle and looking for some great Vietnamese food, this local spot is definitely worth checking out. They've got a solid variety of options--everything from hot dishes like Thit Kho (braised pork) and soups to quick grab-and-go meals. But for me, their Bánh Mì is the star. They toast the baguettes just right--crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. I'm all about a good pâté spread, and they nail it here. I usually go for the classic cold cut Bánh Mì, but I recently tried their #10, which is a mix of cold cuts and grilled pork. It was seriously delicious--the grilled pork added a smoky flavor. Whether you're in the mood for something hot or just a tasty sandwich, this place has you covered! It's within a large plaza with plenty of parking also. They also serve fish sauce chicken wings here. I've ordered it for parties before - a bit on the salty side. I gave their mango salad tray a try, not a fan.

It is a popular place to get lots of snacks and food. It looks like they also do catering as we see trays of food going out. I would advise to check thoroughly some of the prepackaged goods to make sure they are fresh and to put them in the fridge if you are not going to eat them immediately (as shelf life may not be that long). I did enjoy the fried cha luu from them.

I hate to give this, but have to mention that I got the cream puffs (they tasted delicious) but found 3 bugs in different cream puffs of the same batch.

Haven't tried all the banh mi shops in the greater Seattle area, but this one takes the cake so far. They also serve a HUGE medley of other traditional grab-and-go, frozen, hot dish, and catered Vietnamese food. No place to eat in and not a lot of space inside because it's all taken up by tables and shelves to display food or store supplies, but it's worth it. I ordered 2 banh mi sandwiches (fish filet and combo meat with pate $5.50-$6.50). Good thick fluffy baguettes that have some crinkly but not dry crust. Lots of pickled veggie inside done right. Lots of filling. I was surprised that my fish was actually a whole fish fillet with a light and well-seasoned breading, not just fish "loaf". Banh mi also sported thick slices of jalapenos and cucumber. They were perfect. I also ordered a cup of da ua (Vietnamese yogurt $2.75 for about 8 oz) and banh uoc with cha lua (ground meat stuffed rice crepe rolls served with basil, veggies, slices of cha lua (Vietnamese steamed ham meatloaf), and nuoc cham (dipping sauce). There was a heftier amount meat filling inside the crepes than even my favorite place in Southern California. Everything was fresh and well done. The rice rolls kept together and the chew and texture were perfect. The nuoc cham was not watery and flavorful. The da ua was sweet and silky. Highly recommend. The place also served all of my favorite dishes and they all looked so good. Some of my favorite dishes growing up that I saw sold here and looked so delish!: steamed ginger rice place, snail rice plate, meat-stuffed tofu, banh bo nuong (pandan and coconut flavored green honeycomb cake), banh da lon (pandan and coconut flavored layered tapioca sticky cake), banh bao (meatball-stuffed steamed bun), ca phe sua da (Vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk), rau ma (sweetened pennywort leaf juice), red coconut sticky rice (xoi gac nuoc dua) Looks like they also make custom celebration cakes, including pandan and durian flavors. I know where to get my birthday cake next time!!! Oh, and they take credit card, yay!

Whether you come for lunch, dinner, stocking the snack cabinet, or catering Tony's does not disappoint. At this point the only thing I haven't tried are the cakes. I put in a $500 order for lumpia the week before my event and not only did they help me put them in my car, but they also gave me complimentary cream puffs. They were so easy to order with, and the pans the (heavy) lumpia came in were way more sturdy than I imagined for aluminum disposable pans. I will definitely be coming back for more large catering orders! I also want to emphasize how good their hot food bar, ready to make ready to order bahn mi, fresh rolls, and just pantry supplies are. They've got these incredible boba milk tea mochi, jelly sticks my kids love, Madelines, fried bread...This place needs to be seen to be believed.

How much is a two tiered white frosted cake for 50 people?

$250 for 6" and 10" tiers. I just ordered last week.

How can I order a cake except by the phone? Does the store have an email? I'm from another country and wanna make a surprise for my friend in Seattle.

Bonus: this spot is kosher! Potato Latkes (5/5): These latkes are thick boys and fried up so they're piping hot when they hit the table. Because of their size, you really get the contrast of the hard crunch on the outside with super fluffy potato inside. So good we immediately turned around and ordered more. Chocolate Babka (2/5): This was truly the only miss I've had here. Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside. Reuben (5/5): I really thought their pastrami couldn't be beat, but the brisket is dare I say better? Just as tender and feels a bit less fatty, so it's a little more crushable. Tip: go for the seeded rye over the marbled rye; something about the marbled rye just falls apart a bit more with the juices of the meat, though it's still delicious! Black & White Cookies (4/5): I expected this to be cloyingly sweet, but this was actually scrumptious with some fresh lemon flavor in the cookie itself. Absolutely massive as well.

Do you happen to live in Washington and miss said pastrami sando? My friend, I have good news for you. Dingfelder's pastrami is a dead ringer for that sandwich: huge slices of melt-in-your-mouth pastrami, regular and half sour pickles, and all the other accoutrements you'd expect from a legit Jewish deli. This place doesn't screw around. If you want a great, hearty, flavor-packed sandwich, this is one of the best places to throw your money. But, as others have pointed out, it's no cheap date: expect to pay over $20 for one of those mighty pastrami sandwiches. This isn't Subway so you're not saving money by eating here, but after one bite of their pastrami you'll understand why you're paying so much. Quality isn't cheap. I'd say this place is tied with Tat's Deli for the best sandwiches in Seattle.

I'd heard they were good, but holy smokes, I didn't realize they would be *that* good. Here are my recommendations: - Get the Tatstrami. Its combination of flavors is so freaking good. - Order online and then sweep in and pick it up. Since the place does most of its business during lunchtime, there's always a line and this is a way to skip that. If you want to venture beyond a pastrami sandwich, I highly recommend the chicken cheesesteak. While I normally opt for beef when it comes to cheesesteaks, Tat's actually isn't amazing but their chicken one is. So get that instead.
