Since my initial review, I have used H & H two more times (so total of three times) to install safety bars at my parents' home. They continue to provide excellent service. We had a great experience with H&H! My husband and I needed grab bars installed in our shower. We initially found a company in the yellow pages who came out for an estimate and quoted us, no joke, $17K!!! He said walls needed to be removed in order to secure the bars. When my husband said he wanted to run it by our daughter, the rep said "why, does she control your finances?" When I stated we had a second estimate scheduled for the following Monday, so we would not be making a decision today anyway, he lost all interest and patience. Then my daughter found H&H online. Adam came out and listened to our needs and described what his recommendations were. We ended up with a grab bar on each of the three shower walls, with an additional vertical one next to the door. We got a fold-up chair that hangs over the back bar. The chair and bars are super sturdy. I love the convenience of the chair to be able to sit on it or fold it up out of the way. Last, we installed another horizontal bar next to the toilet. Adam was very patient, answered all our questions and clearly communicated expectations. He said parts would arrive and be installed within 2-3 weeks. This was true. Adam came out himself and did the installation in less than 2hours. Our cost was under $1200!! We could not be more pleased with the outcome and highly recommend H&H Bath and Safety!! read more

I had H &H Bath and Safety come out to evaluate the need for a bathroom seat and grab bars at my house. All went well until we indicated that we would install the seat ourselves as opposed to pay the $95 they were charging (in addition to the $43 for shipping and in addition to the cost of the seat) at which time the in home evaluator said the cost would be $50 more for the seat. We decided to take our business elsewhere and later I called the corporate office in La Crescenta and sure enough that's how they operate. BUYER BEWARE! They are not the only grab bar and ADA option available so do your research and decide for yourself this type of business practice is something you agree with. On another site my review was met with a reply by H&H that indicated I was trying to get them to lower the price. This was not the case. If H&H Bath replies to this review in the same fashion please know this is dishonest and deceptive. I'm clear in my post above that their home inspector wrote up the invoice with $95 for installation. When we said we wanted to save the $95 and install ourselves his words were "the price for the seat will go up $50 in that case". At that time we decided we didn't want to do business with H&H Bath. read more

I was referred by a friend to give H & H bath and safety a try for my aunt, they returned my call within 30 minutes and asked me several questions on what my need were, I was really impress with the product specialist and what I thought I needed, wasn't at all correct. We set up an appt. for him to go to my aunt's house where I meet him to go over what was needed and I couldn't believe all the different styles and finishes, I knew I pick the right company for the job. Once the bars were installed my Aunt couldn't have been happier, the installers were polite and professional, and were done within an hour. I saw the final project, and I could not believe how well these bars were installed and even with my weight they didn't even budge, the bars are good and strong quality and the matte finish looks great. Wonderful service! My 103 year old mother needed grab bars installed and I called H & H. The gentleman who answered was extremely helpful, explained all of the options, and sent Carlos out within 2 days. Carlos was fantastic! My mother said he was the nicest person, so helpful and kind! He even helped her open the cap on her medicine and went down the steps to get her mail. He did a great job installing 3 grab bars in her shower, helping her get in to measure where they would best suit her needs. He was neat and clean and did an excellent job. My mother is super critical and was afraid to have a stranger come into her home but after meeting Carlos she said it restored her faith in human kindness. Thanks H & H. These guys are so great ! We were planning to start chemo for a family member - and we were worried about shower safety . I was really concerned about calling any random contractor in our area. So I called HH after looking over their website the day before I needed the install and they were kind enough to fit us in last minute. Totally no pressure in home evaluation .
