The cashier was very unfriendly and unprofessional. I was returning one shirt and one shorts I bought for my son few days ago while back to school shopping and for some reason I couldn't find the receipt. So she told me that she can only do an exchange so I went and looked for something else and returned to her. She took the items back and processed the refund and then charged for the new items I purchased. I ended up paying the difference which was about $30. When I left the store and checked the receipt I realized that the shirt I returned was on sale for $7.99 I bought it for $17.99. She didn't bother to tell me that I'm losing $10 for returning the shirt. Honestly I would have kept it and gifted it to someone. And not lose money for returning an item. What a horrible customer service. Even though I like shopping at H&M for my teenage son I don't appreciate the bad customer service. Almost every store I visited I had a bad experience with customer service. Corporate should do more training with their staff. I have worked for customer service department of a company for over 20 years and they always had training with us quarterly to keep our surveys high. read more

It's really unfortunate how this store is being operated. I wanted to return an item to the store, and the manager said I could not because I used a merchandise card to purchase it. She said the item had to be more than $10 to return it. She pointed to the store policy on the receipt I showed her. I should have read it on the spot and disputed it, but I didn't. Instead I just returned everything on the receipt to make sure it was more than $10. It's a shame they aren't following their store policy and arbitrarily deciding that they won't accept returns under $10. read more

I attempted to return my items WITH a receipt and allegedly I had surpassed the 30 days which was completely a lie! My only option was to return my items and get the lowest price advertised and repurchase other items. They do not offer store credit. I called customer support to submit a complaint. The representative was not providing customer service, and asked to escalate to a supervisor /manager. Located on the main and upper levels inside the Burbank Town Center. A pretty cool laid back H&M with lots of floor space... the guys sections are a little smaller than most, but easy to navigate to and through on the 2nd level of this clothing trendy chain. Their prices are fair and they seem to keep things stocked in most sizes from week to week. Great customer service and fun seasonal sales. Just lacking slighting more space and clothing than other locations, but definitely an H&M I'd say most would prefer overall. read more

I stopped by here to return my H&M online order since I already had the stuff I brought. I parked at the Macy parking lot since this H&M is in the mall. The men's and kids stuff are on the 2nd floor while the ladies are on the 1st floor. The store is nicely organized and barely has any clothes on the floor. When I was walking around the men area, I saw a clothing fall off the rack and an employee was quick to pick it up to put it back. I also went to the kids area to look at a dress for my niece to wear to my wedding but didn't see anything that caught my eye. read more

I'm glad we finally have an H&M in the area!!! It's so needed!!! I was waiting for this store inside the Media Center Burbank mall to open for months! The store is huge, set on two levels, so there's plenty to explore and browse. It's well lit, nicely organized with merchandise galore. Great selection, reasonable prices, let the shopping begin. This mall needed this store and I surely do! From casual, to elegant, there's a bit of everything, for any type of situation or event. I went to the store on November 2 to the Burbank, California location located inside the Burbank Mall. I purchased two slippers for my children and two sets of underwear while checking out the worker did NOT mention to me that the underwear are final sale, nor did the packaging have any kind of sticker or stamp that said it was final sale. I realize that I purchased the wrong sizes I went today on November 3 just one day after to go to return it the items were NOT USED AND IN ITS PACK. I was told that I had to speak with the manager because the items that are undergarments are final sale The manager that helped me her name was Karen Medina at the Burbank, California location. She told me that I had to read the back of the receipt that undergarments are final sale. I explained to her that you guys are lying to customers because you are not mentioning when the item is being purchased that it's final sale nor is there any kind of stamp or sticker on the underwear, that mentions it's final sale and keep in mind these are children's underwear, she told me that I need to read on the back of the receipt after I purchased the item. Can someone explain to me how does that make sense when you give the rules and regulations to someone after the transaction is made. So from what I'm understanding H&M is lying and tricking customers to purchasing undergarments and especially for children because you never know if they see it that they don't like the picture they're like mommy I don't like this or the sizing might be off. I spent $45 plus tax on these underwear and the point isn't even the money the point is that you guys are lying and tricking customers because you guys are providing the rules and regulations after its PURCHASED , and also the manager Karen Medina was super rude and had a very big attitude. There needs to be definitely customer service training within the management team because it was very disappointing as a customer. She told me that I should KNOWN better that when I buy underwear it's final sale. To me this sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen that you guys are lying to customers. I want my $45 back plus tax because I was tricked and lied to buying an item that I as a customer did not know that was final sale, and I am not supposed to magically know that an item is final sale, unless it is written somewhere and told to me prior to making the transaction, I would like somebody to email me. And also as a manager, Ms. Karen Medina I asked her that I want your managers contact information either their email or their phone number and she told me she will not provide that to me. I have worked in retail and if a customer asks for an above manager contact information, you are supposed to provide it because maybe you as a manager are not doing the right job and your manager above you needs to know, she told me to call the number behind the receipt I called the number behind the receipt and it was a general customer service and I was told if it was purchased online they could help me but because it was purchased in store I had to go back to the store to speak to the manager. However, the manager, Miss Karen Medina was no help and she refused to give me her managers information so I was told to send this email. It is the only way to contact H&M if there is an issue, so please somebody needs to read this and take it seriously because you guys don't even know what's happening in your store which is very disappointing because the customer service should be number one . This is s unprofessional as a company like H&M. H &M is tricking and lying to customer by not providing the information prior to the purchase. Also, Karen Medina needs to go to management training specializing in customer service. I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau read more

Burbank Town Center is one of the best branches providing lots of space, good visibility and lighting - far superior to one in LA Beverly Center, crammed, dark, hectic, impossible parking and elevator system. The location's convenience is if the sought item is not available in your size or color, you'd be directed to one of a dozen other branches of Greater Los Angeles where it's available and will be waiting on hold for you. read more

I literally haven't been to the mall in years. So imagine me buying a Christmas gift for my co-worker at H&M for a cardigan I saw online, but needed it immediately. I avoided the weekend rush, procrastinated until Monday morning at 10AM. I walked in as they began opening the gate without a greeting. I don't care about stuff like that, but retail grades those things. I searched for a good 10-15 minutes trying to find the exact item by walking the entire store. I'm really trying to not ask for help, but I'm a idiot guy in the women's department completely lost. So I asked an associate, "Do you have this item?" She looks and says, "No. We're all out. But I'm sure Glendale has it." She did offer to call Glendale to verify, but that seemed like too much work for both of us. Especially if I'm not willing to go, so I declined. As I'm already out and I did wake up extra early, I decided to look around for something else. Guess what I stumbled upon? At least 16 of these cardigans I showed the employee. I called customer service hoping they would offer a return shipping label, and to inquire about why I kept receiving the wrong sizes. All I got was a "we can place another order for you but there's no guarantee that you will receive the correct size." No Thanks! From the beginning I was on a mission to find a specific item. I normally void walking into retail stores because online shopping would be my best option to void bad customer service. BUT as soon as I came across Juan (sales rep) he was absolutely AMAZING from the beginning to the end of the transaction. I will never shop here again, despite the fact that I love the clothes and the prices. My mother in law took my daughter shopping and the gentleman checking her out forgot to take off the dye tags. It happens, no big deal. But as my mother-in-law walked out, it set off an alarm. When this happened, a lady with brown hair and green eye shadow and huge fake eye lashes literally snatched the shopping bag out of my mother-in-law's hand. She might have also been wearing green shorts. She didn't say excuse me or ask my mother-in-law if she could return to the counter, she just snatched it. My mother-in-law and daughter followed her to the counter where she removed the dye tags. There was no apology for THEIR mistake and absolutely no courtesy shown. I wish I knew this employee's name or had a better description. If it helps management it was a Wednesday afternoon 7/16/19. My mother-in-law felt racially profiled, and I do not blame her. Being that English is her second language, this is unfortunately not the first time that she has been mistreated in a retail establishment. She felt as though she was not given the courtesy another customer might have been shown. My mother-in-law actually asked her "why wouldn't you say excuse me?" And was completely ignored by the employee. The girl didn't even make eye contact. She completely embarrassed my mother-in-law and my daughter who was extremely confused by the situation. At this point my mother-in-law went off on her, which she deserved. My entire family have always loved this store, but not anymore. This employee should be forced to take some sort of diversity training or extra customer service training. This girl, by the way, was not white. I won't guess her ethnicity, but either way, it's clear that anyone can discriminate. My mother-in-law felt embarrassed that a loud alarm went off and she was treated as though she had stolen items in her bag. That is beyond unacceptable and the employee should be held accountable. We have all been in the awkward situation of walking out the door and setting off an alarm. Everyone looks at you and you don't know what to do. You hope that an employee will come over and say something like, " that's happens all the time, let me check the tags." Especially if you aren't trying to leave...I You have lost customers as a result of this matter, and are likely to lose more with an employee like that on your staff. read more

Great selection and lay out of the store. Clean and organized. Unfortunately, I did not experience the amazing staff like the other reviews...or any staff at all. No one greeting me or asking if i needed help the whole 15-20 mins i was in the store. No one at the fitting room so i just walked in and helped myself. I usually don't mind, but it was annoying when i needed to walk back out to grab another shirt because the one i picked was already stained. Finally saw my first employee helping the person in front of me checkout- she looked nice. Then a woman and man who looked like a manager (or lack there of). He told her to ring me up and he stood several feet behind and avoided eye contact with me. The woman who rang me up mumbled the incorrect amount...then the correct amount...and then shoved the bag at me without looking. Left without seeing any other employee on the floor. Obviously I'll be coming back because i love H&Ms clothes but hopefully I'll be able to experience some customer service next time. read more
