When my wedding suit rental arrived for my fitting the pant legs were 3 inches too short which is FAR too short when I originally went for my first fitting. Secondly, the waist for my blazer was too large. I asked the manager if I could get a size smaller in the waist and she said "it's a rental, its meant to fit most people. The Men's Wearhouse doesn't do fitted rentals". This is unacceptable because I paid $230 for a rental and this large corporation cannot provide me a suit that can fit my body as they advertised in the standard Navy Blue color? I had to go down stairs and find another rental days before my wedding and thankfully rented a perfect well fitted suit at Tuxedo Junction which the man was very professional and saved me for only $198. I returned upstairs to The Men's Wearhouse and got a refund and the manager was defensive and unapologetic. This is bad customer service and I will not recommend nor go back to The Men's Wearhouse ever again. read more

She was able to find the perfect dress shirt size for me, and even hunted down some bargain priced shirts from the clearance rack while I was looking at other items. She helped me find the right suit size, and offered several suit pants options. In short, the best customer service I've ever received while clothes shopping! Then we arrived at 7:40pm 2 guys were there and they refused to take my husbands and sons measurements because they needed 20 mins. Since I was inside the Burbank mall burning time, I decided to stopped by Men's Warehouse to look at their suits options. This stored moved from their previous location to the 3rd floor of the mall. When I walked in, a worker greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told him I was just browsing so he left me be. They have some nice collections of suits here but they are pricer than other places. But I think since this store is known, you're paying for quality and reputation. I like some of their suits colors but I was looking for a more light silver color which I didn't see in the store. read more

The pictures are misleading lol this is in the Burbank mall on the third floor...next to h&m and above world market. They carry big sizes (I saw belts up to size 60) and though they don't have all sizes ready off the rack, the can do any size with time in advance. If you will need measuring and guidance, come with some time as they seemed short staff and the few staff members they had were occupied with customers for quite a bit (since it takes time to measure and try stuff on and everything). However, if you know what you're getting, the store comes in clutch. read more

Called this store to check availability of suit pickup. Tony, the associate asked for the last name to verify if it's ready then put me on hold for more than 10 minutes. I waited and gave him the benefit of doubt. I knew they go by telephone number in their system. I hanged up and called again. I was told that Tony was new and doesn't know what he is doing. This location deserves no stars but I'm giving it two because at least someone had the courage to tell us we were lied to. And I mean REALLY lied to. My fiancé and I wanted to get custom suits for the groomsmen in our wedding. We were trying to find budget friendly, custom suits. However, it was important to us that they were true custom (legs, arms, shoulders, etc, all actually measured). We did NOT want made to measure suits. We made that 100% clear when we went to the store and spoke to Scott Waldvogel. He told us they were full custom and that these suits fit what we were looking for. We wanted to pay the difference between the cost of a rental and the cost of a custom suit. So Scott sold us on getting gift cards for $200 for each groomsmen. Well, for that that turned out to be $1400 in gift cards. We paid them and we were excited to mail them all out so our wedding party could get started. The first groomsmen to get measured called us and said "they didn't do any measurements below the waist and only did a couple quick measurements up top." We decided to check back into the store and ask whether that was normal or if we should tell that groomsmen to go back to the store he went to and get remeasured. We walked in and began speaking with a representative. She told us the suits are NOT true custom and she actually believes saying "custom suits" is misleading and she wishes they didn't call them that. She also said there is zero difference from buying them off the rack and having them altered to getting a custom suit, besides the "custom" comes already altered. Oh, and you get to pick your lining (who cares?). At least she was honest with us. The worst part, Scott was in the store and saw us speaking with her. Instead of coming up and talking to us, he actively avoided us. Guess he got his $1400 sale and that's what we were good for! Would not recommend this location OR the "custom suits." DO NOT RENT OR BUY FROM HERE! One of my best friends was getting married in Chicago and asked me to stand up in his wedding. I was honored to receive the invitation. Most of the groomsmen commuted for the occasion. All this information can be seen by employees once you give them the group and or reservation number. I got fitted in November for the wedding in February. The fitting went well and the person who did the measurements was very thorough. Unfortunately that was the last good experience I had. KNOW BEFORE YOU INVEST... The majority of the clients they will receive are all grooms or groomsmen. The groom is the customer, and the groomsmen are the extensions of the wedding party that have no control over what they're going to wear, or where they're going to get their attire from. Upon getting fitted, Mens Wearhouse will ask you for your email, phone number, and information to complete the rental. No problem at all I thought as this is what's needed to fulfill the rental. EVERYDAY since I left that fitting I have been getting SPAMMED in my email with easily 9-12 emails A DAY trying to sell me something! IM NOT THE ONE GETTING MARRIED! This is completely disrespectful and almost borderline harassment! I'm already giving you my business and they still push for more. I realize I can unsubscribe to these emails, however if something pertinent to my rental pops up and I unsubscribe, I may not receive information that may be important for my upcoming rental. So I dealt with spam emails for almost three months, just to receive only one email of useful information before the wedding. On top of that, the person who sized me said the suit would be due back on Sunday, the day after the wedding, which is IN CHICAGO! I explained again that the wedding is out of state and that I would need to return the following Tuesday. He tells me he changed it, but later this would cause more issues. On the day I needed to pick up I hadn't heard anything from Mens Wearhouse. I got about 10 emails trying to sell me shit... but nothing about my rental. I'm stuck at work so I have my girlfriend call to make sure my suit is ready and she can pick it up for me while I'm at work. After waiting on hold for 5 minutes she's hung up on! Then when she calls back another employee explains the suit is ready. Conveniently I got out work early and was able to swing by before they closed. I try on the suit and it actually fit pretty well. Jacket was a little tight, but nothing that would keep me from doing the event. As I'm trying on the suit I look at the tag on the front and guess what?! It says return on Sunday, the day after the wedding! The young lady asked me how it fit and I told her it fit fine but there's a discrepancy on my return date. For the fourth time I remind them the wedding is IN CHICAGO and I'll be back the following Tuesday to return. She "adjusts" the return date and assured me it was taken care of. Cut to the wedding. By the ceremony, EVERY GROOMSMEN had lost their top button on their jacket except for me. Not sure if that was caused by user error or the jacket buttons being faulty. I've stood up in six weddings and I've never seen that happen before with anything I've ever worn. Other than that everything for me worked and functioned well. We return to LA and made it back earlier than intended on Monday. After I unpacked I figured I'd have time to get them their suit back before they close and get it back a day earlier than I intended. When I return the suit they don't check it or even look at it! Instead another employee says to me "the suit was due back on Sunday! come on down so we can handle these late fees!" I hit the ceiling! Bro!!! The wedding was IN CHICAGO!!!! NOT CHICAGO CALIFORNIA, CHICAGO ILLINOIS!!! You know, THE REAL CHICAGO?! Heard of it?! Still the employee pushes for me to pay late fees! I pointed right at the woman who "adjusted" my rental duration the previous week and put her on blast. She never changed anything in the computer and then they expected me to pay late fees associated with that! Needless to say I threw such a fit they removed the late fees. But that wasn't before they pushed hard for me to pay them! Another thing I found to be really bad was the notion that even though every groomsmen had to travel out of state for this wedding, THEY PUT EVERYONES RETURN TIME TO SUNDAY! REGARDLESS OF WHERE WE WERE COMING FROM! NO consideration was taken into the notion that the wedding was (I'm not even going to say it again). So based on the spam, hang ups, issues with rental duration, and charging me late fees for a suit that wasn't even late, I WILL NEVER endorse or do business with this company. It's a shame too! Out of our group I'll most likely be the next one married. Had I had a good experience here it's not unreasonable to say I may have brought my wedding party here next year. It's unfortunate to see this company shoot itself in the foot and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Save your money. We went here to get my fiancé's suit for our wedding, and that was a mistake we will never make again for any future suit needs of his. He found a suit he liked, and they had him try it on so their tailor could make the markings and tailor it. Today he went to pick it up, and he took his shoes with him to try it on in-store to ensure it fit correctly. They just handed it to him and walked away to go make their next sale. He tried it on when he got home, and I'm not even sure they did any tailoring at all. The shoulders in the jacket still don't fit, the pants are still pulling at the sides, and now we have to go pay someone else to do what they couldn't manage to do. They didn't even care about checking their work and ensuring his satisfaction with his $700 purchase. I sincerely do NOT recommend this location, at the very least, but we most certainly will never be back to a Men's Wearhouse again. They don't care about customers at ALL after making their initial sale. Thank goodness he has another suit -- albeit grey -- that he may have to wear instead if he can't get this fixed in time. This review covers five visits over ten years. Most recent was yesterday. Weddings, funerals, proms, and job interviews. We've always had friendly service and been satisfied with our purchases. Our recent visit was for my son and I to be fitted for my daughters out-of-state wedding next month. Brando and Scott provided awesome service and took careful measurements. No attempt to up-sell but when I found a few casual shirts for summer wear, Scott got on the phone and located them in my size in Pasadena and New Hampshire to be delivered next week at no added cost. Not my job to contest the two star reviews but it seems that the wedding party with the $200 gift cards only needed the groomsman to speak up and mention that they wanted to use the card balance to make the bespoke alterations, and their suits should have fit like a glove. read more

Deceptive marketing and selling practices abound here. Don't go in expecting a custom suit as they advertise and tell you. Their custom suits are just like if you bought it off the rack except you can pick your lining and some different stitching choices. Most custom suit places take over 30 of your measurements. Not so here. For the pants, only the waist was measured. They didn't even measure length and said they would hem it when it came in. So there is no seat, tight, calf, or other measurement taken. Don't take my word for it. After we had committed to purchasing 7 custom suits from them, one of the workers told us they aren't really custom. She in fact said that label was "misleading." And she wished the coming didn't use the word "custom" because it is not what customers expect when they hear custom. I'd avoid this place like Corona. read more

Totally happy with the service and attention to my needs for my daughter's upcoming wedding. Scott Waldvogel was very professional and helpful, and found the suit that fit me correctly. Yes we tailored the pantIegs and coat sleeves but I finally have a suit coat that fits me well and I feel comfortable in it, along with the slacks. Scott helped me with the color coordination of the shirts, ties and a nice pocket silk and tie bar to top it off. What disappointing and disorganized customer service! My fiancé and his groomsmen are renting suits for our wedding and during 3 separate fittings there have been issues. 1) when my beloved went in for his fitting, the woman rushed thru it, didn't measure his inseam and was not particularly friendly. I mean, I know we're not shopping at Tom Ford, but basic decency and a friendly smile would have been nice 2). When his 20 yrold son went in to get measured, they turned him away because they couldn't find him in the system! Yes, the kid didn't have the order number, but shouldn't they have been able to find it under the groom's name? And this is after getting emails to come in for a fitting! so he left frustrated. 3) and then when the same guy went returned for a Take 2 they made him pay a $20 deposit --even though my fiancé had prepaid! He didn't have cash on him (because he didn't know anything about a deposit amd had to resort to Venmo to avoid returning for Take 3! So now we've lost a lot of faith in this company and Im worried my fiancé will be getting an ill-fitting suit for his wedding. We'll be sure to move up his pick up day. Opens at 11am (!!??), So there's a long line when the doors are unlocked. I eventually found the 48L rack on my own, tried on a few suits, found one I liked. Went to the counter. Meanwhile, the 2 harried employees struggled to help some other folks. But anyone walking in after me got a hearty hello and can I help you.... I spent a fee minutes finding a coat I liked in my own. I got to the counter, with my $250 sportcoat choice. The gentleman ahead of me (another lonely DIY shopper) checked out. The employee closed the sale, walked past me, next in line at checkout, ready to go, back to a random customer. I put my suit down and walked out. Got to my car, and realized I needed the coat more than the satisfaction of walking out of bad service. So I went inside, waited another 15 minutes standing like a dope with my coat, and finally got a perfunctory "hurry up-asshole" checkout for a single coat at $275 with tax. read more

Today (1/1/16), at 2:30pm, I went to this location with my dad. We thought it was closed because from the outside we didn't see any people, but when we walked up we could see all the lights and TVs were on so we walked in. There were 4 people behind the counter talking. My dad went up to the counter and told them what he was looking for. A very friendly, older lady, immediately started helping my dad look for what he wanted. She is the only reason they are getting 2 stars instead of 1. He ended up picking out 2 pairs of pants that he wanted. He tried them on, the tailor came out to take measurements. While all of this was happening, there was an elderly couple also in the store. The 3 other workers continued to stay behind the counter, 1 woman was on her phone while the other 2 talked to each other. No one acknowledged the elderly couple or asked if they needed help. While my dad was changing, the elderly customer asked the sales woman that was helping my dad for help. My dad finished changing and came out of the dressing room. He stood there and waited for the sales lady to come back. None of the other sales people asked if they could help ring my dad up or offer to help the other customer so that she could ring us up. These people are getting paid hourly to stand behind the counter and talk? Where can I sign up? It was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. At a place where one customer could end up spending A LOT of money, they better have amazing customer service. I told my dad we should go to a different location from now on.
