BEST H&M in the area. Also best customer service in any H&M. I took off one star because I've had so many issues with the clothing here - I wouldn't say their clothes last a "short" time but I'd say they're somewhere in-between F21 and Zara. I guess you really do get what you pay for though, don't expect a $10 pant to last forever. But I've had issues where a sweater doesn't make it out of the store let alone to the first wear and it's already unraveling at the seams and I've got to turn around and return it. I've never had any issues with exchanging or returns though. The lines can get a little crazy, especially when there's only one person manning the front, but they're always really understanding and patient! On the whole, this H&M probably has the widest stock available in the area. It's very organized and always clean! There's a lot of space to walk around between the clothes, too. Wow! I was helped by a douche! Was assisted very poorly by a short, homely white guy wearing glasses and a cap. I came in to return my online order of ill fitting pants (that I was super excited about) that I bought in December and the holiday policy stated that I had until the 31st of January to return for a full refund. This asshole cashier said he didn't know anything about a holiday policy and gave me some bullshit about how the company is so widespread that he doesn't know what the policy says. I looked on my phone couldn't find the email with the holiday policy on it. And then told me I would just get credit on my account. Didn't say how many business days it would take or if I would get an email saying I'm getting said credit. I had to fucking ask him all of this to get answers. Then after he was done scanning everything and printed my return receipt, just handed it to me and ignored me. He just looked at me and said ok that's it, you're done. Not even a "anything else I can help you with? Or have a good day." Nothing! Fucking rude! I should've asked for the manager. Didn't offer to get a manager or customer service number, nothing! Fucking useless kid! I'm wondering wtf he even did! Oh and btw, called customer and was helped by a really nice woman, who said I was correct about the holiday policy (anything purchased from November would receive an in store refund until January 31st) and that I should see a refund to my bank account within 2-5 business days. Secret to getting in and out quick go on a weekday before noon. I got in was able to try on clothes went and looked more tried on more clothes and was out in less than 15 min. That has got to be record time. Only bad thing is I hate the layout of palladio parking is far away from the stores. Yes there are like 8 parking spots right in front of H&M but I have never seen them available unless its after hours. read more

This store reminds me of Forever 21 but with slightly better quality and a much better store layout. Their prices are very affordable and they have the latest trends. However, their quality is still lacking, in my opinion. My husband and I came here last month and he bought some men's shirts for himself. Nothing fancy, just a basic black tee and some long-sleeved shirts. After washing and drying his black tee at home, he noticed it had completely shrunk, to the point where it now fit me as a nice shirt I could wear around the house. He had followed the handling instructions on the back, too, so we were pretty baffled about why this happened. Don't get me wrong, I think the clothes here are cute but for the small price you're paying, their clothes are cheap and pretty disposable. Mmmm love H&M. Only down fall is I shop in the guys section and it is a very SMALL section here. If you shop in the womens, girls or babies though youre in for quite a treat! Was double charged for an item at this H&M and I of course only had ONE of that item. It was a male, with long hair glasses, and like a white shirt with arms cut out and he had on blue shorts. Hopefully my receipt has his name on it. Anywho, I called customer service to tell them my issue and that I'm not able to make it back to this particular store and if I can get my refund at another H&M in my area. He goes on to tell me that this store can only process that but they are too busy to talk on the phone right now with "Walk In Customers".... what!? And that if I could call back in a hour. Like the man who rung me up was already weird acting and had an attitude. I initially seen him in the dressing room, as I was sorting out my items to try on. I sat my clothes on top of some clothes that were folded by accident, so he snatches my item and says "No, not on the clothes" and just slams it down. Like wtf. This is the worst H&M I've ever been to. They have 5 different people on the floor and only 1 person cashiering and the poor guy called for back up 5 times and nobody showed up. I LOVE IT HERE!! The staff is always very friendly (though I will say always kind of dressed down for the ambience of the store) I love the deals and how clean and organized everything is. It's definitely one of my favorite shops to visit. No matter when I come here I will always find something I like. The thing that sucks is that whole "once it's gone" thing! You can't always buy the ENTIRE store can you? Well if you don't there is a darn good chance you will never see that particular item again. The bathroom is surprisingly clean (I'm very particular about bathrooms) and easy to find. I like that they also carry men's wear as well. Most of the time I feel my husband finds more than I do! Which is great because he like most men hate to shop. We don't have any kids yet, but I like that if and when we do we can cover that base as well. Nothing too stellar. Lackluster service with a somewhat easier shopping experience due to their small selection. Asked an employee where the featured items are, and she seemed puzzled herself... So after following her around the men's section for a while to look for the damn sweater, she gave me some lame answer about how they may not be getting them OR they're sold out OR they're being unloaded off the truck right now. Homegirl needs to be re-trained or something, poor thing. Next up is the rude fitting room attendant. This little blonde girl wearing a beanie with a stuck up, stand offish attitude. I asked her if she could hold some items on her go-back rack while I use the restroom. She said "no, we don't do that. But theres bags over there". The hell am I going to do with your store shopping bag? Carry it into the restroom with me so I can get tackled by your loss prevention team? I came back later to try my clothes on, and my bad luck that homegirl was still there. Instead of greeting me, taking my garments, showing me to the room, hanging them up for me, and saying something like let me know if you need anything else... She just shoved a curtain open and walked away. I know this is H&M and not Nordstrom, I'm not asking for a customer service super star but I expect not to spend my money on bad customer service. I'm not sure where she got her customer service skills from, but she needs to go back and get a refund. Last and not least, the cashier rang an item up twice. I asked her to double check it and she said its right. That's when I broke down the math for her and she took a moment then typed up some crap on the register and fixed it without saying sorry or anything. And guess what? Another bad company policy. I went into the store to buy a jacket that was on sale online, but sold out. I figured I might find it in store on sale, WRONG! I find it in my size and go to check out only to see it doesn't come up with the sale price. I tell the sales clerk that it's on sale online, she informs me that they haven't had jackets on sale yet in store. I'm thinking why do companies do this, so un-customer friendly. really bad practice. Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic also don't have the same prices online and in stores. It's a hot mess. I live in the Bay Area and when i come to Folsom to visit my parents i ALWAYS make a stop to shop at this H&M because they have such a great selection. Whether it's work or casual clothing/accessories you are looking for they have it here. The jewelry selection at this location is pretty small compared to other stores (like Roseville) but still- no complaints. Everyone who works here is usually pretty nice and helpful. read more

Great place to get a lot of trendy clothes for your buck. Mostly I come for their light weight summer dresses. They never cost more than $15. Being a hairstylist I don't have to worry if I get color or bleach on an outfit. H&M is a hit or miss though. I prefer the one in Folsom in the Pavilion over the Galleria just because they seem to have more selection and a lot more mark down prices. read more

This H&M feels a lot more organized than the one at the Roseville galleria. Although the employees here would benefit from a lesson in customer service. H&M in General has high-ish prices for what you're getting but when they have sales it's great. The one thing that is kind of annoying is a lot of things that are on sale are not marked as such (so ask for a price even if it isn't marked it may be on sale!!) so you don't really know what your total will be at the counter. I definitely like the store but not my go to favorite shopping stop. read more

I come to this store all the time. HM seems to be the only store that carries clothes that fit this wonderful physique of mine. The store is clean and some of the staff is helpful. They don't always ask if you need something, but that's probably because they are busy picking up after everyone. I have realized that there jeans are very inconsistent when it comes to the fit (this has nothing to do with the store, but the company in general). Visited the great looking H&M store at the Palladio this evening since they were having what appeared to be great sales...Buy 1 Get One on all Knits and the 40% off one item. While in the store, employees walk around promoting the BOGO sale...and get some shoppers excited. Well, H&M DISAPPOINTS and Receives 3 STRIKES in my book. Their merchandising and in-store advertising is JUST BAD. They put "Buy One, Get One" signs directly over items items on shelves and racks that are questionable whether the sale applies to those items. It wasn't until I got to the register to find out that the item didn't qualify. When I questioned the cashier and walked him over to the area where the item was...he wasn't sure either until another co-worker said it wasn't. Most customer-centric stores would have just honored the price and sucked it up...NOT H&M. 2nd Issue: My wife wanted a sweater and went to purchase tthe one sweater at 40% off the full retail price..they would not let her buy just one...she was told she had to buy 2 since the BOGO special. So Two Strikes so far in my book. And the Third Strike came when I asked an employee for a manager....the said there was no manager available and provided me a general customer service service number. I called the customer service number and the customer service told me that I can only leave comments and that I could not request for a store or district/regional manager to call me back. I made a visit to this H&M yesterday. A friend likes their stuff and I needed shoes. While the selection was very limited, I was most amused that there wasn't any place in the whole store to sit in order to try on the shoes. I needed help, but couldn't find a single person working there. After we left, my 10-year old son said he'd seen some employees. Apparently there were 3 or 4 of them talking over in a corner out of sight. Swing and a miss. This is why I don't feel bad when stores go out of business. I was so happy and surprised to come across an H&M in Folsom while eating out one night. I've actually never visited an H&M store before, so I was quite excited to be able to visit and shop for my first time! I walked in, and felt a little overwhelmed and so many racks and small rows jammed together I didn't even know where to begin. I did my best and noticed the clothes are separated by style, making it a wholeeee lot easier to shop now, and even though it's so over stuffed this location is huge! I went to try on stuff, and the lady at the fitting rooms was so nice and explained to me the different shopping areas and where to find what I was looking for and broke it down to an easy shopping experience!! I really really really loved their business casual section and their shoe selection! Prices are very reasonable and it's like a much classier as quality clothing selection rather than the somewhat similar Forever21! Trying to find a swimsuit at H&M is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Where to start? Coordinating tops and bottoms are rarely ever on the same rack together. I would find a top I liked in my size on one rack, and have to hunt down its bottom by sifting through the other racks, squatting, pushing back the other tops and bottoms (they put too many on one rack), and peering into the darkness when I could no longer reach for an item without worrying about making everything fall off. It's that crowded. Many hangers get really wound up in straps, and vice versa. Not to mention that there were a lot of items laying around on the floor. Really...it's not that hard to pick up an item and put it back on the rack if it's fallen off. It would be nice to be able to have the matching swimsuit tops and bottoms together or next to each other for those who prefer them to match, and mixing and matching would still be possible. It took me upwards of 20 minutes just to find the sister bottoms to the tops and vice versa - minutes which could have instead been spent in the fitting room. However, despite this shortcoming, the employees I've encountered here are nice and don't bother you too much. Please...get the swimsuits organized! read more
