I didn't find what I was looking for, but this is a good sized store. It's huge! This might be the biggest H&M I've been inside. I like that the women's stuff was on one and side and the men's was on the other side of the store. The women's side was very organized. But the men's side was out of order. It looked like a hot mess in that side lolol I came in looking for a pair of shorts for my man, and didn't find what I was shopping for. I really wanted shorts that were longer, so they wouldn't be showing his privates when he sits down lol It's so hard to find longer shorts for men these days! My man is super tall too. read more

That is what I did at this outlet shop in the "The Outlets at Orange" in Orange, California. H&M clothing is modern without being fad like trendy. They have men's and women's clothes here. Most of the nicer items such as the wear to work women's clothes on the rack were mostly sizes small and medium. In the H&M world that translates to x-small and small which is not me. This is not to say they don't have other sizes, you just just have to hunt a bit for them. But I did find bargains in causal war. Tshirts ( vneck, scoop, round) from the dressy to the done right weekend casual. Markdowns ranged $7-15. The checkout queue was long but they had plenty of cashiers that moved the line quickly. read more

DO NOT BUY A GiFT CARD HERE. My nephew wanted an H&M gift card for Christmas this year so I went in to the store to get one for him. After waiting in line I asked the cashier for a gift card and he told me to just take one home and load it myself. This is where I should have just realized something was off and got the kid something else. I went home and followed the instructions on the card, logging into their website and submitting credit card info to load $50 onto his gift card. After receiving the receipt in my e mail I was confident that I could give nephew his card and have a Merry Christmas. Tonight he tried to use the gift card at the same store I got it and they told him it was not valid. I called H&M customer service and at first they gave me another phone number to their "gift card specialist." So I called that number and they told me that there is a second gift card company and they don't have the card in their system. I called the first H&M customer service number back to give them that information and the representative told me that there is indeed a different gift card company and that it is not H&M's fault but the fault of the gift card company and I need to take it up with them. This is incredibly shady behavior. My next move is to actually drive to H&M to speak to them in person to get my $50 back. That will be the last time I ever visit. read more

The reason why some retail stores have exceptional guest service while others have very very poor guest service all boils down to the management team. They should be held accountable because they are the ones that hire these individuals with very poor guest service skills also it reflects back on them and their management skills. If you have managers and sales associates who are rude and don't acknowledge you as a guest into their store by asking us if we need any help and when we are returning items then the company should let everyone in the store go also rehire new managers and sales associate who actually have guest service experience. If a retail store have exceptional guest service then they will have repeat guest coming back to their store but if they have very poor guest service then they won't have any repeat guest coming into their store at all. Guest service is not rocket science. You treat others how you want to be treated when you go shopping in a store. read more

This location was poorly managed and the owner should review how their Manager Mela to training her staff and talking down to customers. I purchase a few items for my kids and showed them a coupon that was for 15% off. The salesperson at the register didn't know if they can apply the coupon so she asked her Manager Mela if she can apply the discount, without even looking Mela said no, I informed her that it states online and in store discount but she didn't bother to even look to see if that was what it states... she said we don't take coupons and it would have to be purchased online. I tried showing her what it states but she ignored me and didn't allow the salesperson to apply the discount. I wanted to make sure I had her Name correct so maybe she can get retrained in Customer service so she can better represent the store. Don't think I will be back to this location. read more

Very decent prices if you are trying to put a suit together. We went to get my son a suit and ended up buying one two for him and one for me. The only bad experience I had was that the internet showed the South Coast Plaza store closed at 8:00pm when it actually closes at 7:00 and they would not help me when I arrived at 7:02 pm after driving down from the Citadel in LA. The store was super busy and lots of people. They started limiting capacity afterwards. I was able to find some great clothes. I got a matcha swimsuit, beige pants, summer jean shorts, and a red orange tennis dress for a reasonable price. The women's section wasn't busy. The fitting rooms are closed. The line was super long but it was a 30 minute wait so it was okay. One of the workers told us about the app while we were waiting in line and we got 10% off our purchase so I appreciate that. The cashier was fast and friendly despite it being busy and he helped me with my discount. The workers did their best under busy circumstances!! So it was understandable that the rush hour and lots of people were out of their control but I wish there was better management about how many people are able to go in for our safety. Pretty huge store. Wasn't greeted when I came in, nor did any associates asked I needed any assistance. I see them around, but they're just waking around. There's a huge selection here, and really good prices. From children to adults, they have it all here. For the kids section, there's a great bargain buy 2 and get one free for organic cotton basics! And some of these items are $5. If I had any kids to buy for, I would go crazy buying clothes for my kids! Lol. My friend Kimberly R. was able to find some great dresses for her nieces, $4.99 each! She bought 5 and only paid about $22! What I like is the huge selection of men's clothes at this location! And the prices are a steal! Store run by teens and mid-20somethings. Horrible and rude customer service. If your store closes at 10 pm, don't turn off your music at 9:45 pm. If your store closes at 10 pm, don't tell your customers at 9:47 pm that you're closing in less than 10 mins. If your store closes at 10 pm, don't go around the store herding them to the register all the whilst telling them they are one of the last four people in the store at 9:52 pm. (There were more than six people waiting around the register area, so there's definitely more than four customers in the store.) If management reads this- your store exemplifies why consumers are turning to online shopping instead of going into physical stores. I really like this location overall because they always have great inventory and I almost always find great steals in their sale section. The pricing is so affordable for quality clothing! Today however, left a distasteful memory in my book. I was looking in the sale section at all the black pants/sweats and the employee working that area started organizing the same rack I was looking at. That wasn't the issue. The issue was, she kept getting closer to me as I was silently looking at the pants. She got closer and I asked politely, "do you want me to move?" She didn't respond and literally proceeded to grab the same pants I was holding onto. I was kind of shook because this person had ZERO concept of personal space, let alone being in a covid-world. She proceeded to do her thing and finally I got the courage to say to her, "hey, you should really at least say excuse me or give someone a heads up if you're going to invade their shopping space and take their items like that" to which she replied quite blandly, "I have to organize." I was pretty heated at this point so I got snarky and replied back, "I understand that, but you need to really learn a thing or two about customer service..." She scoffed, rolled her eyes, and literally stormed into the fitting room area. I still legit can't believe I encountered that, I'm not a Karen by any means but bro... what the heck?! I was finally ready to try on some items and lucky me, she was working the fitting rooms. She saw me, and glared. Even with our masks on, I could tell. She asked very rudely, "how many" and I proceeded to tell her 6 and she pointed at the first door and said nothing. Then, her tone became all princess-like for the party behind me. I'm internally fuming but laughing at this point bc how petty?! I finished and as I was heading to checkout, I asked her for her name. She said something 3x before I had to say "I cannot hear you." I went to the H&M at the Block of Orange and I when I got home (which was 35 mins away), I noticed I was double charged for a dress that was $20. Instead of me being able to go to an H&M closer to my house, I was told that I would have to drive back to the original location to get my money back and it will take longer because they would have to check the cameras. I said this was unacceptable because gas would cost more to go out there than to get my $20 back. I even said that I would accept a gift card for $20 instead of driving back. The machine did not show my items as she was ringing them up because I would have noticed that and she put the receipt in the bag. read more

Clothes are very unorganized and the customer service is very unprofessional...I came into buy some items from the sales rack and when I went to pay for the items I picked out they said non of them were on sale? Even though clearly two items had a red discount tag on them and the other didn't have a ticket but was hanging with other jeans that were similar style on sale too. I said it's fine don't want the items not on sale even though it was clear that those items were not hanging anywhere else in the store except on those racks... I was ready to pay, and she asked if i still wanted some of the other items in my purchase and i said yes please. I didn't notice she had scanned them already cause i was looking for my card but when I looked up she asked again do i want these items and i said " yeah i had already said yes" and she was giving me a lot of attitude. I was really confused what was the miscommunication at this point. But I'm going to pay and notice the items on the side and not in the bag she is about to hand to me. So I asked and she said yeah I charged you for them already...and so my friend standing next to me points to them and says they are hiding behind the register and the girl ringing us up starts acting confused saying oh I didn't put them in? But clearly are right next to her. She didn't apologize or even seem like she wanted to give us our items we are paying for as if she wanted to keep them lol super weird. We didn't really get a chance to shop. We entered the store to shop for my 2 year old nephew. He was walking around and held a mannequin's hand. A staff member not only asked my nephew to not touch the mannequin it also asked my mom to watch him because "the mannequins are expensive.". I came to this store this past Tuesday and was helped by Ailyn when I was trying to find some outfits for my baby boy. Not only did she point me in the right direction but helped me put the cutest outfits together! The store lacks customer service. It is evident that the cashiers are not up to date on policies and procedures. I went to go return items I ordered online, and on their own website, it states that I had 45 days to return and item. The cashier I was dealing with, said in a very condescending tone, that I was past my 30 day return policy. I have educate him as to what it said online. And after I showed him, he proceeded to process refund with an attitude. The only reason why I gave this store 2 instead of a 1 was because I got the refund for the return. read more

Great kid's selection with a value and Customer Service! I have been to this store at one other location where I purchased a bunch of stuff. I am beginning to like it more and more. Leggings and tights are always discounted. They have Hello Kitty bathing suits from 1 year + for about 12.95. Way cheaper than Gymboree. They also have Hello Kitty dresses, pants and shirts. They also have a great selection of accessories for little girls. When I came here the other day, they had a display table full of printed t-shirts. Hundreds of shirts including Hello Kitty and some others. The sale sign said "Printed T's 4.95." What Hello Kitty Shirts for less than 5 bucks? There were tons of them. I picked out 5 different styles. When I went back to the register, the guy told me they were $12.95. I said "Nope" and told him to go check the display counter. He came back to the register with a frown and was carrying the sale sign with him and put it away. I guess it was a mistake, but he let me have them for the displayed price of $4.95 with a smile. Kudos for great customer service and I am adding an additional star! I don't like the block, but this store makes it better. I can't wait for the Rack to open. This H&M is located inside "The Outlets of Orange" (used to be known at "The Block"). There are two convenient entrances. One side will take you to the women's and the other is the men's. It gets crowded in here because they have lots of clothes and not enough space. I used to hate shopping at H&M..because their clothes never lasted. My clothes would rip or tear, but then I realized that everywhere else pretty much has the same bad quality stuff.. Then I got smart and shopped during sales instead of paying full price. What I really like about H&M now is their clothing donation drive. If you donate a bag of clothes, you get a coupon. This location started giving out 20% off entire purchase coupons, but I noticed another location had 15% off one item instead. read more

I stopped by H&M today to make a quick return. I was outside of the return time but the item had tags on and I had the receipt so they gave me store credit on a gift card for my full $20 plus tax. I was satisfied with the resolution. I did notice the cashier asked questions but didn't really listen to my answers. I decided to look around to see if I could find anything to spend it on and struggled to find any merchandise in size XL. Those I did find were incredibly short. I settled on a plain black cardigan and still have $5 on the gift card. There were literally thousands of styles of clothing in sizes XS and S. They carry not only women's apparel but also men's and children's. Such a great value for your money! The styles are up-to-date, quality's not bad, and there is a lot to choose from. The customer service here is amazing. Their membership is worth it even if it's a one time shopping thing for you to take advantage of that discount. If you're worried about privacy, you probably shouldn't have any social media account since you already have all of that away. You can shop with their app inside the store & it makes it super useful. Almost like using target circle at Target. It gets crowded so be understanding of long checkout/fitting room lines. H&M sends multiple shipments a week so when you ask there probably won't be some stuff saved in the back but it will most likely arrive within that same week. In that situation, try shopping when the store just opened since almost everything will be replenished. Overall, for an H&M that is so heavily trafficked even on weekdays, the customer service is excellent. They do the best they can with a short staff.
