I own a nice little '06 Mazda Miata, but at one time it had a not-very-nice moldy smell. In a rare fit of do-it-myself blundering, I pulled off the inner door cover and found some mold, but along with a number of plastic pieces whose job was to hold the cover onto the door. I could never get the inner door cover to snap back into place. I figured a body shop could do this, so I took it to Brian at H & T for an estimate. Estimate, schmestimate... Brian just walked over to my car with a screwdriver and a tool that looked like a cross between a can-opener and a screwdriver. Ten minutes later he was done. He didn't even charge me. Probably great if insurance is paying but definitely don't go here if you're paying out of pocket. I came to get an estimate and told exactly what I needed done and they proceeded to give me a vastly inflated quote and tried to perform repairs that had clearly already been done. Brian was also rude and patronizing. The other lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely nice, patient and pleasant on the other hand. The only bright spot in an otherwise negative experience. My car needed the back drivers door fixed due to an accident. They were very helpful in guiding through the process of scheduling the repair. When I came to drop off my vehicle, I couldn't contact the rental company. Their phones were down. They went above and beyond contacting them with an alternate number they had that wasn't listed. They called to give me progress of the repair and kept me updated. Once my repair was completed, I had to pick up my car and was planning to coordinate a family member to follow me to drop off the rental. Again, they went above and beyond, calling the rental car company to see if they could pick up the rental from their shop. It saved me time, less stress from driving my toddler around town with me, and gas! They did an excellent job with the repairs as well. My car was vacuumed and cleaned on top of the repairs. I would recommend them to anyone who wanted great customer service and repairs! read more

First of all...that slogan "We Make Friends by Accident". Bwahahaha. Awesome. Unfortunately/fortunately, we've used H&T Collision twice now. Would've been great to have never needed them...but when we did, we're glad it was them. My husband dealt with them the first time and was very pleased. I solely dealt with them with this experience and they were amazing. After getting my car hit in the parking lot and the kid nearly taking off (don't undestimate these lungs, kid), USAA sent me to H&T for an estimate. I talked to two of the insurance people there (one who deals with USAA claims & the other who deals with State Farm claims). They were both super nice and gave me terrific advice. Dave is ultimately the agent I worked with since he works with State Farm claims. Super nice and standup guy (the woman handling the USAA claims is equally as awesome...forgot her name though). They ordered my new bumper while I was on vacation and told me it'd be a 3 day job...and Dan (my technician) called after 2 saying it was ready. Terrific. Dan said if I couldn't make it by closing, that he'd stay and wait for me. What? Super nice. Of course, I didn't want to trouble him...so I opted to pick it up the next day. The lobby is really cool and the people even cooler. State Farm provided me with a rental which I could just leave over there and H&T said they would call them and let them know it was ready for pick-up. Nice...no extra effort on my part. The work is guaranteed for life too. As I was leaving to get into my car...Dan came back to my car with the Littlest's window shade that I left in the car. Awesome. Hopefully, you'll never have to be in a situation that you need body repair but, if so, I hope you get to use H&T Collision Center. read more

My car needed repairs. Car in shop 5/2. Car ready for pickup 5/6. Not notified until 5/19. Hertz will only cover car rental cost for 5 days 5/2 to 5/6. Due to H & T failure to notified me until 5/19 (no updates during service time). Hertz charged me for rental days 5/7 to 5/19. I am out of pocket for $$$. I do not recommend H & T Collision. I brought my 20 year old mustang here after my neighbor backed into me. My whole drivers side fender was toast and the door wouldn't open as well. H & T replaced and repainted the fender and also fixed the door to perfection. The paint matched perfectly which was my biggest concern on such an old car and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Omg! I just picked up my car and I am so happy about the work. It looks amazing, they even cleaned in and it looks and somehow smells brand new. The new fender is the perfect color as the rest of my car, you cant even tell it was replaced. Justin was the one that was in charge of my car and he was very courteous and just overall great customer service. They did excellent restoration work. They were swamped from recent work related to hurricane Matthew but still got mine in, repaired from a collision, and out in a timely manner. For a marginal out of pocket, they did a great job removing a couple other damage areas unrelated to the accident. Paint color matched perfectly when complete. So Far So Good. This is aiming to be a progressive review as I go through the repair process. This was one of USAA recommended shops. Not the closest to my house but existing reviews swayed me to them. I got an estimate and date set for repairs I believe 9/24/2015. My sister is also a insurance rep and she Had popwaxhad a similar estimate. My Wife dropped off the vehicle Monday 9/28/2015 without issue and Enterprise Rent-a-Car reps are actually waiting at the shop. 9/29/2015- Received a call notifying repairs appear to be longer than quoted 9/30/2015- Started receiving text message notifications. Nice touch. 10/09/2015- got my car back early. Amazing work. 1 small blemish I have already talked about and will bring it back to get buffed out but no complaints. One of our vehicles was in a fender-bender, but since something was off with the steering, we told insurance we would not drive it. Had the car towed to H&T, because they are a State Farm authorized repair facility, which means SF will accept the quoted price for the repairs. Great experience, we were checked in quickly, contacted within a few days regarding the costs and repair schedule. We had the vehicle back within 10 days of the accident. The service included a full interior detailing! I hope that circumstances are such that I will not have to utilize their service again....but I strongly recommend H & T Collision Center to any who might need body work. read more

My front end had received some damage after losing a large bumper piece on the interstate. Had a scraped condenser and radiator. They decided it was best to add a completely new bumper, even though a paint job to match my original cars color was necessary. Only had a rental car for not even a week before the entire job was finished. Got my car back in the best shape I had seen in a while. They cleaned the interior and exterior excellently and the paint job was perfect. They treated my car way better than they needed to, and had the work done faster than expected. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Decided to go there since they are a USAA participant and it is very close to my home. I was so impressed with the staff and positive reviews. They did a beautiful job repairing my 2015 Highlander and it looks brand new again! They had the rental car ready when we dropped the car off for repairs. They also kept us informed on the progress. When a part came in scratched they ordered another one and my vehicle was still ready when promised. I would highly recommend! Will refer friends and in fact my husband already has. read more

Soo, I DO NOT have many good things to say usually when posting a review, but when there is great service I take the time to write a review. From what I have read about priority body shop and a few others, hampton rds area sucks for vehicles, whether you buy them or try to fix them, (especially Hall jeep) regardless, H & T and everyone I dealt with (patty and mike?) were great, they were on my side and wanted to help as much as possible dealing with rentals I had to pay for out of pocket (usaa sucks at times) and hall jeep for their "special parts". Cant really say enough good things, they were fast and very considerate with everything. read more

Let me be perfectly clear, the body work they did was phenomenal. But this was a very dysfunctional process from start to finish. I was assured a certain date range for completion and it was more than double the wait time. I was offered a rental car after a week and a half past the promise date, which was nice, but a little bit too little too late. The operations manager was very offputting and defensive when I initially called to check the status, thinking my vehicle would be ready the next day. Even on the day of pick up, I called to make sure it would be ready. I showed up 30 mins before closing and was told I should have waited for a call as a piece was still drying. Truck was dusted off but not clean. I would not recommend this company for their customer service. I would recommend them otherwise. read more

I recently took my car to H&T and my experience was a good one. Their professionalism 10/10, Turn around time 10/10, Paint quality to include blending 10/10, attention to detail 3/10. I keep up with cleaning my car up to 2 times a week with weather permitting. After i got my car back i was doing my first wash and noticed a lot of over spray on my car from my rims to my window. I can't exactly get mad about it because it won't do any good for me or make it go away, its just annoying to look at every time i clean my car. I would expect a better job of sealing and taping off these areas. read more
