I reaaallllyyy like this place. Moreso when Lan herself does my nails. I haven't gotten a full set here so the review is in regards to their no chip manicures, which I am addicted to. They can recreate even the most complicated, unique designs here. But the reason why I truly love this place is because of how long their no chip manicures last. My last one last 4 weeks. Not only that but my nails felt stronger which allowed them to grow to lengths that my nails don't usually get to. The place is a little outdated. It's not the nicest of nail salons that I have been to but it does the job. It's not much of a pampering experience moreso just get in, get it done right and be out. There isn't a huge selection of colors either but there's enough. I went the other day for a pink ombré no chip and I did have to oversee a few details but I still love how they came out. I can't stop staring at them. The only downside is that they last sooo long and I'm super anxious about picking another color out already. So I may go in earlier than I need to. This salon is just ok. Cute inside and clean. I usually get the dip for my nails and the guy who works there is usually really good and does a good job but sometimes the ladies who work here seem like they're in a hurry and just slap the dip on and zoom through it. My nails end up being uneven and they just don't look like I've paid to get these done. The owner is very nice though. They do offer waxing as well but I've never had waxing done there. read more

The service at Lans is great! I have gone to Lan's for years and wouldn't recommend any other place. Lan herself is very sweet.

This review is about yesterday's experience, not Lan's in general. Yesterday would be 1 star. First, there was the eye rolling. I asked the male nail technician his name because they are humans and I like to know who they are. He said something, I couldn't hear behind his mask, I asked again, he said again but still didn't catch, so asked him to spell it. He literally stopped, signed, rolled his eyes and said Irvin. That time I heard. The attitude just oozed off him. Needed acrylic nails soaked off. Instead of cotton wrapped in foil, after he drilled off the no-chip polish for an extra charge, he made me sit during my entire pedicure with both hands in a bowl of pure acetone. I was terrified to move lest I spill & dissolve my clothes so was uncomfortable the whole time, breathing that smell, stuck in place. Pedicure was ok but again, any time I asked for any small attention to something, like squaring off a toenail, there was the eyeroll and attitude. Very short massage, quite a lot of dead skin left behind, but whatever. Looks ok. Then instead of scraping off the acrylic from my fingernails safely with a wooden stick, he wiped off some with a paper towel and then DRILLED off the rest, taking much of my real nails with it. How do I know that he didn't just take off the acrylic? My nails were strong & thick before (I got nails for an occasion & to make them all even, needed a couple tips so has to get a full set; wasn't because of weak nails.) Now they're paper thin. How do I know THAT? Because they bend like flimsy plastic every time I touch anything & the polish is coming off everywhere they bend. I didn't even make it to bed before it started coming off. I'm going to have to cut all my nice long nails that had grown out for 3 weeks super short now & take off the polish cuz it looks totally tacky now. Total waste of a manicure. I should have just bought the acetone myself, saved the money and my nails, and avoided the attitude. I've had decent to good service at Lan's before and I like the place. They are requiring masks, they all wear them, they sterilize everything, it's clean and pleasant and quiet, large selection of polish, they're efficient and nice, and they got me right in. I'll be back, but not for Irvin. $50 wasted on a miserable experience this time. read more

By far the worst dip manicure I have ever had. Nails chipped and pealed in a day and a half. Went in and insisted on a new dip manicure. The same girl did it. Absolutely ruined my nails. She used the electric file thing. My nails chips again in a day... even worst this time. My nails are now so soft they are literally like paper. I am the first person to give people a second chance but I will never return to lans. Customer service to very important to me. My mom, kids and I have been coming here for years and yesterday was our last day. We have been loyal to Lan's for years but what happened yesterday really upset me. Two weeks ago, my mom and I booked an appointment for ourselves, my husband and my three kiddos. Our appointment was scheduled for 11 am. Once we arrived they said hi and asked what services we needed. I announced that we all wanted pedicures and all of the girls were getting manicures as well. The chairs were ready for my mom and I and I figured after the other workers were done they would prepare the water for my husband and children for their appointment. It was a busy day and customers started to come in left and right. The person that was doing my pedicure was bouncing back and forth doing someone's nails as well. I told her she could finish the lady's nails and I would sit in the water, I was fine with that. But as all these customers come in they were requested pedicures and the owner was sitting them down instead of my husband and kids. Another customer that came in at the same time as me, who I did not know said that it was made her mad, as the owner kept putting customers in front of my husband and kids. We told the lady's that were doing our pedicures that hey, my husband and kids have been sitting there. As the other employees were finishing up nails they proceeded to keep making water for customers that were walk-ins and sitting them down. By the time, my pedicure was done it was 12:25. My husband was just sat down and someone was working on him and son was finally placed in a seat but waiting for someone to do his pedicure. I said that I would give my chair to one of my kids and my other kiddo could sit next to her. Someone who just walked in proceeds to try and sit in the chair next to me and I announced once again that my kids were next. I was livid. They kept asking if we still wanted manicures after and I just refused. I left and I felt like I was gut punched. I've spent so much money here and have been a loyal customer but no longer. I will take my money and time somewhere else where I feel appreciated. read more

What ever you do keep you money and don't come to Lan nail salon. They including the owner Lan treat the white customers better than the black customers. I made an appointment on 9-25-24 for 2pm with Lan and she had me waiting over an hour. Then got the nerve to tell me make an appointment with someone else after she took a young lady ahead of me that wanted a full set. The owner is very very money hungry and if you don't spend enough money she treats you horribly. Several women black and white said she was wrong. When you finally did the pedicure she didn't do it right. She rushed through it and I told her don't polish my feet because you didn't cut the nails down right. All along she was rushing to get to the white customers. I told her God sees everything you did to me today and you are wrong. I hope this shop gets shut down I'm going to report it to the better business bureau, I'm a business owner and I never treated people in such a manner. If I can give LAN's Nail an F I would. I came in on a Friday morning at soon as they opened to get a manicure and pedicure. I was immediately able to receive service and I didn't have an appointment. about 5 to 10 minutes after arriving at the shop was full where all of the pedicure stations were in service and everyone who is available to do manicures was doing them. The staff seem friendly and immediately greeted me when I walked in. I had a gentleman start on my feet, but another lady came in saying that she had a reservation or an appointment with him he left me to assist her but the manager jumped right in and finished my toes. The male tech came back to me to do my nails. They have a variety of colors to choose from. This location has a unisex bathroom. The shop seem pretty clean. The prices were clear and easily able to understand. They even have free parking in the lot. read more

STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT NAIL FUNGUS!!! I came here to get a pedicure and full acrylic set. They were incredibly rough with my feet and very rude about having to take off old gel, I knew I'd pay an extra fee and I was fine with that, I wasn't fine with their treatment or attitude. Then came time for the acrylic nails, the tech rushed through them and was super harsh doing them which is just annoying. considering the amount your paying, it should be an enjoyable experience. The worst part though? The horrible nail fungus I discovered after I removed my set of acrylics. They were done so poorly the quality took only a few days to degrade, so I decided to remove my nails and discovered the issue. I will NEVER go back to LANS. I went in to get acrylics for my friends wedding and they did a horrible job. I had to go to another salon to try and get the shape fixed because it was not what I asked for and it was so horribly done. I called to try and get them fix and they said to come in later, called back again and they said to call back in an hour. Never going back here again. read more

I should get manis & pedis more often than I do, it isn't fair to the person that ends up working on my feet. However, I've had some very bad experiences at some local nail places. There are so many little nail joints, that you never know where to go. Some of the places I've been too are not very clean or modern or new. Thanks to Yelp and some great reviews of Lan's, I decided to treat my feet and get some gel nails put on. I walked in and the place beautiful! The walls are teal and turquoise with some decorations, all the mani stations are spotless and the chairs are super comfy. The giant massage chairs for the pedis are to die-for! The floor is spotless. I love this place!! Oh - and the music they were playing was awesome. There were about 6 people working and everyone was nice and friendly and professional. It was about 10:30 on a Friday and Lan's was getting steady business. I imagine if you came later in the day, you may have to sit and wait a bit, but the zebra patterned chairs in the waiting section, looked comfy. I had gel nails put on, since I bite the shit out of my nails and they look like crap all the time. I couldn't decide on a color, so I just went with a French manicure. I love the look. I wasn't going to initially get a pedi, but after watching the service and the professionalism and cleanliness of Lan's, I couldn't resist. My toes and feet are very happy. There are so many places you could go to in the area, but I would highly recommend Lan's. Such a great experience and her shop is so much nicer than others in the area. Was in here earlier today, must say I've tried plenty of cheap nail salons and always left feeling a bit unsatisfied in some way (the workers talk in a different language and make you feel self conscious, the technicians rush the work, you feel like you overpaid for services received). I am completely blown away with this place-dare I say this is the Holy Grail I've been searching for?! Let me break it down for ya... Price-I got a manicure and pedicure (40 bucks). Now for the south subs you might say it's average, usually I think I've paid about 35 for both at most places. However, this place really deserves to charge more! Pedicure was all the basics you'd expect-cuticles, file, scrub, hot towel, callus work. PLUS about a 10min leg massage-and I can tell ya most places I've gone to have promised 10minutes and I received about 2minutes of a wimpy rub. Not the case! Same goes for the manicure-I swear, this was the best manicure I've ever had. She took so much time filing, trimming, polishing, massaging..I was in total bliss. I never once felt she was rushing through the services, even though they were definitely busy. I also appreciated how professional everyone was. I am so thankful to finally find a nail salon that I love! Prices are reasonable and all the staff are great. This is the first place I have ever had a no chip mani that actually lasts the 2+ weeks that it is supposed to without any peeling, cracking, or chipping. I have been to this salon 4 times over the past year and am writing a review after my 4th visit. Customer Service 10/10 everyone is polite and welcoming from the owner to the staff. And Lan is extremely accommodating. Cleanliness 10/10 bathrooms and salon area are always clean & tidy. There isn't a strong chemical odor at all Quality of Services 7.5/10 Of course it depends on the nail tech but overall the quality of the nail services is slightly above average. So disappointed. I've been coming for a while now. And I understand that not all services are going to look the same, but consistency would be nice. I came to a no chip. The same color that I had on from three weeks ago. The removal process was painful. She hurt my nail bed. She filed the color off with a drill then the foils. She proceeded to do my nails. My middle and ring fingers were redone. On my left hand. And the middle on my right. Since they were way too thick. Now. It looks worse than ever. I told her to please remove the original one. And I would pay. I was still willing to pay to remove the color. And to just walk out with nothing. I didn't care. I just didn't want my nails looking sloppy. She insisted on re doing the three nails. She drilled the color off my nails to the point where I pulled my hand back from how painful it was. Did she not put any primer. Or top coat. Just the color. I just started going here to get no chip manicures. I love the way my nails look. I personally am a fan of my nails looking as natural as possible. I cannot function with crazy long nails. This is the first time in years that my nails have looked really nice. I have also gotten a pedicure here once. It as super relaxing and it looked great for quite awhile! The prices are fair as well. The biggest clincher for me however is the staff. Lan is always super accommodating, and makes sure someone sees you really fast. I've never had to sit around waiting. There always seems to be enough staff available. Both she and her husband are very kind & honest people. Everyone there that I have met, or gotten work from, have been extremely nice and personable. Decided to try this place since my usual was closed. The wait was longer than they quoted on the phone, but I expected it. When I finally got my no chip manicure I had 2 fingers that she cut, but the polish looked good. She didn't try to talk with me at all so I spent the hour watching the tv on the wall. Unfortunately the polish only lasted 5 days. By then, I had 2 nails chipped. By 2 weeks all of my nails had big chips or had peeled off. At my usual nail salon my no chips always last at least 2 weeks, including the manicure I got for the week in Mexico where I was playing in the sand with my kiddo or swimming in the ocean and pools. I called before going and the lady told me to come. When I got there, it was crowded. I specifically asked if it was crowded or I would have gone later. They sat me at the pedicure chair but I sat for 15 minutes in cold water. It was hit initially but after 15 minutes it was cold. I asked for a towel, I was given one, dried off my feet and left. The lady didn't try to get me to stay and didn't say anything to me as I walked out. Also, people kept calling and she would tell them to come when there were no techs available. They should just be honest if they don't have people available but telling everyone to just come up is ridiculous. read more

Someone needs to re calibrate the accuracy scale I know that necessity deems our actions in most cases but I could have been better off sitting at how with a trusty set of clippers and a piece of sandpaper. This place is a health violation waiting to happen. So you ladies that have those separators for your toes, when you are here, use the powers of observation and be aware!!! watch what happens!!! That's Right!! they are reused. There is a crate that is sitting against the wall that people throw the separators in and I watch 3 different techs walk over to that crate and pull out a set and cram them between someone else toes. No disinfectant, no nothing. There is zero A/C. They had the back door open with the fans blowing. Did I mention the necessity!! Well I should have been listening to the inner voice screaming RUN!!!! at me. I guess I was a gluten for punishment. I called my regular facility and divulged my experience with this place. She was incredibly apologetic and began to assess the butchered Pedicure I received. There is truth to the phrase, You don't know what you have until you don't have it any longer. Let me just say this, If you are coming here for a manicure and a pedicure or any other services and think this place is the cats meow, you are kidding yourself. The classic pedicure is $27 dollars, but Mon-Thurs get it for $25! The massages chairs are fantastic too. LAN is always so welcoming. Her service is consistent and her staff too. I go through stages of growing my nails and then biting them so when I grow them out I make sure they're done correctly. She gets very detailed and specific about what I want and she takes her time getting it right!
