This place seemed not as up scale as other restaurants/ bars around that area..... BUT the food and drinks were AWESOME! Fast friendly service, there was a lot of room they had TVs in there, the restaurant area had room for parties and groups.... They had an open kitchen so you could see what was going on... The beet salad was AMAZING, as well as the skirt steak cooked to perfection ( M Rare) and the fries were so tasty (wife ate them all). Food was so good we had to get a dessert (flourless brownie sundae) it was delicious as well... If you don't want to spend millions on food, BUT get the same great taste/freshness/ plate presentation then you have to stop by this restaurant!

I ordered the Saloon Burger with an extra patty, a side of fries, and a Boylan cola. The burger was surprising scrumptious and juicy. The bun was perfectly toasted, the patties tasted fresh rather than frozen, and the vegetable toppings were fresh and crisp. It was a simple burger done the right way. The fries were also enjoyable. They were cooked evenly, well seasoned, and had that ideal texture of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Also tried the Boylan cola just to switch things up. It was fine, nothing stood out, but a nice option if you want something different from the usual canned sodas. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, with plenty of TVs for watching sports. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the visit. Street parking only. Overall, a great stop if you are in the area and craving a well made burger in a casual sports bar setting!

Palisades is a great community partner! Thank you for hosting the 20/30 annual santa con fundraiser which provided 270 kids with xmas gifts. The place was hopping and all of the staff was very accommodating! It was really festive with all the santa themed people. The food here is so good! We had lamb burger (yum) steak and fries (I can't wait to go back) and Cobb salad (large) and shared them all. We will return!

This is a place i've visited several times as a Napa local. Honestly the food is really good but it's just so overpriced, so it's hard to justify coming here most of the time. The service is fine for the most part but there's one person that stands out, i can never remember her name but she's red-headed and a phenomenal waitress. She always checks in several times and is super friendly. Overall a good place to check out!

It was Thursday evening and our first night in Napa celebrating our 16th anniversary, and we were on the hunt for a light evening bite. The hotel valet recommended this place. We arrived just in time because the kitchen was about to close. Our server let us know we had about 10 minutes to order. We went with the fish and chips, a couple of drinks, and hubby tried their housemade beef jerky which was surprisingly tasty! I ordered the strawberry fizz, which packed more of a punch than I expected, so one sip was enough for me. The vibe was lively with music playing, multiple TVs, a full bar, and both bar and table seating. It seemed like everyone was having a good time. All in all, it was a solid pick for a quick late night bite, and the fries definitely hit the spot!

Had a good experience. Food was tasty, reasonably priced and service was on point. Menu is very straight-forward and not too extensive. Good place in downtown Napa to have a drink, catch a game without breaking the bank. Had the steak with garlic fries and apple bread pudding.

We flew into Napa for the weekend for my birthday and stayed at the Andaz Hotel downtown. On Saturday, we found out the Canelo fight was happening and wanted to catch it. We asked a few local businesses where to watch, and everyone recommended Palisades. We even called ahead to confirm they'd have the fight, and they said yes. When we arrived, though, every TV was showing football. We asked the bartender, and she referred us to another staff member who seemed hesitant at first. He mentioned that all the TVs were on football, but eventually switched one over for us. Honestly, it felt like we were inconveniencing him, which was a little off-putting. That said, once the fight was on, more people gathered in that corner to watch with us, and it ended up being a really fun atmosphere. Our bartender, Shelby, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. We ordered the pork belly appetizer and jalapeño poppers, and both were delicious. The place was packed, the vibe was lively, and aside from the initial hesitation about the fight, the experience was great. By the end of the night, we were glad we chose Palisades. Good food, great drinks, and excellent service from Shelby. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in Napa.

Classic cheeseburger with tasty tomato, crisp lettuce, and excellent housemade pickles.

Excellent beer selection and one of the very best smashburgers I've had. My only minor complaint is that I prefer a potato bun rather than a sweet brioche bun. The tomato was tasty, lettuce crisp, and the housemade pickes fantastic. My photo doesn't look great, but the taste, textures, and beef quality surely were. Great attentive and timely service in a comfortable, spacious dining room and bar with plenty of TVs.

Went in on a Thursday night around 8pm. Totally expected it to be a lot busier but it was pretty quiet in there- only a couple of tables and only one server seen throughout the night. Food was bleh. Nothing major. The brisket poppers did not taste anything like brisket- not sure if there was not enough brisket or if it just lacked flavor but wasn't great. Cheese curds were interesting but not that great. They are coated in a lime chili seasoning which was a bit tangy but I wouldn't necessarily say it pairs great. The fish and chips were pretty disappointing. Lacked soooo much flavor and the green on the inside which I think was cilantro was so pointless and not needed(and I love cilantro). Lamb burger was nothing special. Might be back for drinks but other than that, mostly likely not.

Blonde ale on tap was very tasty!

Totally recommend the drinks: Midnight in Italy and Fume Midnight in Italy was basically a very well served Manhattan. But it was gloriously served. Giant cube ice cube, really lovely rye whiskey and the perfect orange garnish that added to the senses as you sipped Fume arrived in a light fixture like glass box that you open to retrieve your drink. Baker brie was insanely delish. It was the best baked Brie I had. Perfectly balanced with the honey and pistachio. The iceberg wedge salad was as you would've expected. Decent sized Maybe we didn't ordered the dishes that they were most popular for so I was disappointed. Will have to come back and try another round. Especially for the drinks.

Our waitress then showed up and didn't say her name - and asked us if we were ready - and then we ordered - I was in mid sentence and looking down and then swoop - the menu was gone - I guess I didn't want to add to my order- Our food came out and the Calimari was good, a decent portion, a bit salty - but - it was good . Then came our food - I got the short ribs - I will say it was really good and the meat just shredded nicely ....it was exceptional actually. My brother got the salmon and I will say it was delicious-- both were small portions with a big price - that's Napa . I don't know how it was 140$ for dinner - for two- but it is what it is. Then we were asked for dessert - a menu came and we waited it took a while for our server to come back - and since we waited so long we were turned off to get dessert ... so we went to Annette's up the street . No worries there is always something around the corner . If you read my review.. you will see she never checked on us - she did come back to get a drink refill - and that's it.. It's the 16$ an hour plus tips I guess... bad service for she will get paid anyway- service used to be important - now it's devices- it seems like she was looking at her device the whole time - the little computer they used to order the food. Maybe that's how they run the place .. it wasn't busy- it looked steady - but not busy tonight 3/7 around 730 pm... No one came by to say hi, or to welcome us in. Maybe at the desk ,, the hostesses . Maybe.. but during our stay - no one Napa is dying - bad service and good food - it doesn't mix well and let's say there are other options- I'll be taking those options in the future - look around you may find something you like - the food is good here - yes it's - the service - stinks - It's a cute place inside - neat- clean - plenty of room- The menu printing is way too small - I had a hard time reading it - possibly size 6 lettering .. I don't know - I'm not an expert on font size - I am an expert on reading - and it was hard to do -
