The drinks are all on tap, so don't expect handcrafted cocktails--they were fine, just not really mixed drinks. The food was definitely the highlight. I think there are 40ish beers on tap, so something for everyone. We've been in here quite a few times mostly for dranks but back in the day Andrea and I would split a burger when she was eating heathen food. I ordered the Saloon Burger with an extra patty, a side of fries, and a Boylan cola. The burger was surprising scrumptious and juicy. The bun was perfectly toasted, the patties tasted fresh rather than frozen, and the vegetable toppings were fresh and crisp. It was a simple burger done the right way. The fries were also enjoyable. They were cooked evenly, well seasoned, and had that ideal texture of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Also tried the Boylan cola just to switch things up. It was fine, nothing stood out, but a nice option if you want something different from the usual canned sodas. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, with plenty of TVs for watching sports. Palisades is a great community partner! Thank you for hosting the 20/30 annual santa con fundraiser which provided 270 kids with xmas gifts. The place was hopping and all of the staff was very accommodating! It was really festive with all the santa themed people. The food here is so good! Fast friendly service, there was a lot of room they had TVs in there, the restaurant area had room for parties and groups.... They had an open kitchen so you could see what was going on... The beet salad was AMAZING, as well as the skirt steak cooked to perfection ( M Rare) and the fries were so tasty (wife ate them all). Food was so good we had to get a dessert (flourless brownie sundae) it was delicious as well... The service is fine for the most part but there's one person that stands out, i can never remember her name but she's red-headed and a phenomenal waitress. We flew into Napa for the weekend for my birthday and stayed at the Andaz Hotel downtown. On Saturday, we found out the Canelo fight was happening and wanted to catch it. We asked a few local businesses where to watch, and everyone recommended Palisades. We even called ahead to confirm they'd have the fight, and they said yes. When we arrived, though, every TV was showing football. We asked the bartender, and she referred us to another staff member who seemed hesitant at first. He mentioned that all the TVs were on football, but eventually switched one over for us. Honestly, it felt like we were inconveniencing him, which was a little off-putting. That said, once the fight was on, more people gathered in that corner to watch with us, and it ended up being a really fun atmosphere. Our bartender, Shelby, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. We ordered the pork belly appetizer and jalapeño poppers, and both were delicious. The place was packed, the vibe was lively, and aside from the initial hesitation about the fight, the experience was great. By the end of the night, we were glad we chose Palisades. After tax and tip, it came out to about $28, which felt steep for a basic bar-style salad. I also noticed from older menu photos that prices appear to have increased over time. We also ordered a cocktail called "A Bitter End," which was $17. While it tasted fine, the portion was small, and the price felt more in line with what you'd expect at a high-end or Vegas-style venue rather than a casual bar setting. This is a laid-back spot with comfort food and TVs, not a fine dining experience, so the value didn't quite match the cost. On a positive note, the service was good, and everyone in our group said their food tasted good. That said, we all agreed the pricing didn't reflect the overall experience. Went in on a Thursday night around 8pm. Totally expected it to be a lot busier but it was pretty quiet in there- only a couple of tables and only one server seen throughout the night. Food was bleh. Nothing major. The brisket poppers did not taste anything like brisket- not sure if there was not enough brisket or if it just lacked flavor but wasn't great. Cheese curds were interesting but not that great. They are coated in a lime chili seasoning which was a bit tangy but I wouldn't necessarily say it pairs great. The fish and chips were pretty disappointing. Lacked soooo much flavor and the green on the inside which I think was cilantro was so pointless and not needed(and I love cilantro). Lamb burger was nothing special. Might be back for drinks but other than that, mostly likely not. read more

Tried this place for the first time a few months ago with some friends and have been meaning to review it. A few of us got the saloon burger, it was yummy and a good size. Another friend had the chicken sandwich and it looked really good, she said she enjoyed it and had a nice kick. We got some wings to share, and they were also good and nice size. The drinks were also really good. The service was good but could've been better there was a few times we had to get their attention for napkins/refills, it was a little busy though so it wasn't a deal breaker. All my friends agree this place was good and we would go again, the price was also really good compared to many places in the area. Chorizo fries are so fantastic and I'm from Texas so it was shocking to have such good chorizo in California haha! Just came back again for a second day in a row in time for their happy hour. Everything was amazing! We are semi-local, live 20 minutes away and came for the happy hour for the first time! The happy hour Mai Tais were so delicious and the food was so amazing! We started with the pretzel bites and cheese curds, fantastic! I had the tuna poke tostada for my main meal, had two of them, so good! All the other food was so delicious too but the best part was our server, Ivy! She was incredible throughout the whole time we were there and we will definitely be back! Lucky us to live so close! I went on a beer tour with my local friends and this was one of my favorite stops! We had a flight of the Palisades blonde, lager, and porter along with a guest saison. The 3 Palisades brews paired perfectly with our veggie burger (so yummy with the house pickles) & delectably crisp fries, and the porter was delicious with the beer-a-misu. Service was excellent, and the staff appreciated the Geezer's t-shirt my local friend was wearing (our server's dad worked there). The avocado was fresh, and the crostini was crunchy. The habanero oil was the icing on the cake along with the feta cheese. The lamb burger was melt in your mouth!
