    Katsu sando menu
    Meree C.

For the food court I went to Chan and the katsu sando. Chan: kalbi ribs comes with rice a small bowl of soup some banchan (kimchi and radish kimchi) lettuce and wrap sauce. The many times I have ordered here it's always been consistent and good. Katsu sando place: ordered the katsu sando and the egg sando. Not comes with a fruit sando which has strawberry and whipped cream. The katsu sando was good and tasty even though for the price it's definitely not worth it. They give you a thin sandwich I swear every time I go it gets smaller and smaller. The egg sando was horrible and would not recommend it. 4 stars for chan 2 stars for the katsu sando

Such a great place to stop by and buy groceries, eat at so many yummy food stands and see things that reminds me of my visits to Asia. We went to Chan and the food there was yummy and fresh, we got the bulgogi and bibimbap, then we got the Fruit Sando at Okatsu katsu and sando bar, and had the tonkotsu ramen at Ramen Bar. It was a fun and great experience!! Too bad it's a bit of a drive for me, but my family had fun. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the area and/or are looking for some yummy food and great deals on groceries, etc.

Oxtail stew my ass! On Christmas Day I got coal. Don't do the soups or stews!! This is not oxtail!! Shameful!

Love the new mix of restaurants at the H Mart Food Court, but miss some old favorites.

    Soup dumplings

The food court located within H Mart has tons of delicious variety. The soup dumplings at Mr. Dumpling are paired with a sweet or spicy dumpling sauce. The plastic wear makes it a bit hard to dine in, but they have takeout options and even sell frozen dumplings to make at home. The bubble tea from the tea and gelato mart is super sweet! I recommend the honeydew milk tea with boba. We also have tried the chicken katsu. The katsu shop is good- the chicken is perfectly crispy. But this one's pricier. Love that you can grab a bite before finishing your shopping.

The food court has a lot of options and may be confusing for those visiting for the first time. There are many restaurants, but instead of ordering at the restaurant counter, you order at the cashier register. The bulgogi I had was delicious, and came with a side of miso soup! Everything looked pretty affordable!

    Chan, beef soon tofu.

Got beef soon tofu from Chan. It wasn't the greatest for $15 including tax. It was just super salty and spicy (but able to handle it). Really no depth and I should've just gone to a soon tofu place that specialize in the dish. As a Korean, I didn't think they could mess up on something simple. Banchan was just 2 type of kimchi and was overly ripe (very acidic and too sour). Good thing I don't live in this area because I won't be coming back again.

I've been to the H-Mart in GA so while I was in town, I wanted to check out the one in Dallas/Carrollton. It's in the heart of Korean town and the parking was crowded on a Saturday morning. Upon entering the store, they offer you gloves to explore the store. The store layout was very tight, I felt almost claustrophobic. They have a lot of variety when it comes to fruits and at a great price that you couldn't find at other oriental stores nearby. They also have a lot of cooked foods and side dishes for sale. Their food was okay. We got the spam with rice, it had a lot of sesame oil. The aisles were also very tight and you almost had to turn to go through around people. They had a lot of options but it's definitely smaller than the one in GA. I prefer that one instead.

My family has been going to H-Mart's cafeteria for lunches (if we don't fill up on their samples first lol) ever since I can remember . Having grown up with Korean food, I find so much nostalgia in Tofu Stew houses and restaurants, and H-Mart is one of those places that stays true to flavors and pricing, despite its modern aesthetic and beautiful plating. Just look at those colors! The meal, of course, was fantastic, and hit the spot. Each meal came with a free drink (it's a secret!), rice, and 반찬 (side dishes). I ordered the Beef Tofu Stew (in my experience, it comes with more meat than the seafood pot), and had a delightful time. Some things to expect: During the weekends, it can be very busy at peak lunch hours, so tables are sparse, lines may be long, and it can be crowded. Furthermore, it is a cafeteria, so people aren't always the kindest or the cleanest, so as a guest and a patron, don't be too hard on the workers there, pre-bus, return trays, and leave the area someplace you'd like to sit too. It'd be greatly appreciated by both guests and staff! Eat up and Enjoy!!

There are some people waiting for service in the fish department but these two just is busy on their phones.

There are a lot of restaurants. It was impossible to find the best one. I found Chene or Chane?? Anyway, I just want to save money in an Asian town. I ordered Yukgaejang which was a beef soup bowl. It was so spicy that I had to wait for a couple of minutes till it became lower temperature. It was served with kimchi and rich. Both of them were so good. When I was in Japan, I loved yukaejang so much. It reminded me of my days in Japan. If you can't find a good restaurant, please go to the Hmart Food Court!

The supermarket is closed now, but there's a side entrance just for the food court. The seolleongtang is good and spicy. This is probably one of the best seolleongtang places in DFW but it's super hole in the wall place and has practically no reviews. The side dishes were really good; I especially loved the kimchi. The rice was cooked with millets and tasted great! Despite the spiciness, the broth was very flavorful. Portions are big enough that it can be a lunch but small enough so that you don't overeat if you finish it. Unfortunately, since fresh K closed, the place is pretty empty and looks like it could close at any time. However, that does mean more seating. Everything is self serve, but the staff will bring food to you if they aren't busy. Bring your tray back to the shop and put it on the shelf next to the shop. The staff was super nice and friendly.

While waiting for my party to arrive I sat at the second floor bar, Heaven Hill, and ordered a couple cocktails. The bar tender, a pleasantly upbeat woman, educated me on the various food options as well as some of their favored cocktails. I had a raspberry beret (shoutout Prince) and a Larceny Paloma. The name was just calling me. While the beret was fruity and refreshing, the Paloma had a bite and kick that snuck up on you. I loved it!! As it's a mall of food there was no trying just one lol. We tried the dry rub brisket bar, chef chin's hibachi ramen, chilango's tacos, cotton and snow, and unlawful assembly brewing co. To finish the evening. Brisket with Mac and cheese; burria tacos; tonkotsu ramen; cookies and cream ice cream; and lastly a Moscow Mule to end the evening. The Mac and cheese from the brisket bar was terrible. Runny, and bland. But the brisket was amazing. Seasoned and tender and so moist!!! Tacos were exceptional. Ramen was awesome. Ice cream was ice cream. It wasn't bad, but not eye popping amazing. The mule was delicious. I ended the night stuffed and sleepy!! Great visit!! If you're in the Plano area this is a must!! And there are tons more eateries.
