Zion Noodle is super simple, quick, and yummy! It's located in a food court at the Music City Mall. An event was being held when I came here so there were lots of people, but the service was still super quick and we were able to get our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Great place for Korean zhajiangmein and jjamppong. I would say it's very authentic and easy to order and eat in the food court along with your Zion shopping trip. Zhajiangmein sauce looks heavy but it's really not. Jjamppong looks really spicy but it's not. Overall a fast and fair-price fix for either craving. read more

This restaurant is a stall in a food court at Zion market. After you order, you are given a pager. There were plenty of seats to choose from. I tried the seafood noodle and the sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour pork was different than what I am used to (didn't quite like the sauce). I did appreciate that the sauce was separated from the fried pork to keep it crispy. The black bean stir fried noodles was the bomb! flavor in every bite and good black bean flavor! there are several noodle vendors inside, this is the very last noodle vendor at the very end. There's several signs so people will be confused, look for "Chinese Noodles" sign. You can get it mixed without stir fried but I preferred stir fried. Still love this place. I've tried both the regular black bean noodles (#1) and the pan fried (#3) and honestly the only difference I can see is that the noodles are a bit thicker for the #3. Same pork + veggie + blackbean sauce combo. I've also ordered the pork & shrimp pan fried noodles, that one comes pre-mixed whereas the other two are separated -- and it's enough for a small army. One of my favorite other things to order besides the black bean noodles are the japchae & rice combo. I don't really understand why the japchae comes with plain rice, but here's my "secret": I buy an order of Japchae rice from Zion and an order of the Korean Junkie boneless chicken from Hotsome at the other end of the food court; use the rice with the chicken (plain white rice is perfect for it!), and save the delicious japchae for the next meal. The only thing I've ordered here that I wasn't super keen on was the sweet and sour pork. It wasn't bad, but I didn't particularly care for the breading -- it was very soft, not crisp, and it was a bit of a different flavor profile than I was expecting. But I'm picky about fried foods, so you might have a different opinion. Overall, I come here about once every other week for takeout and what I order usually lasts me several meals. The portions and prices are great. Give them lots of business so they can survive the pandemic! read more

Our old favorite was Paik's at HMart. We have been going here since March of last year twice monthly and it is consistently the tastiest jjajangmyun and jjamppong you will find in Dallas. The portions are good; even if you have an endurance athlete's appetite, one meal will fill you up. There are two ladies who take turns working the counter.
