It was a full packed out. Everyone outside and want to enjoy the Knicks game. For a pack house service was excellent. They were able to service all the large parties quickly. I had 1 margarita and a elote corn . The wings look good. Overall I had a wonderful time for the 45 minutes I was there.

I did the terrible mistake of coming for 5 de mayo but I waited the huge line so we could try some of their tacos. We got the grilled chicken, beer batter fish, shrimp and al pastor. My favorites were the shrimp and al pastor, both very flavorful. We also got the elote, a margarita and a beer. Everything was pretty good. They have a large patio and dogs are welcome so that's an extra bonus!

The space is beautiful to sit in, especially on a sunny day. Very vibrant and energetic space but the food just wasn't good. The grilled chicken was great but the nacho cheddar cheese tasted like cheap highly processed cheese.... did not taste like typical queso. I actually like cotija cheese but it wasn't a good mix. Service was fast I got my food in under 5 minutes.

Came here for the first time to try out some tacos. The food was okay the tostones were good the freshly made guacamole was very good. The eggplant taco was underwhelming the chicken tacos were good. The steak taco okay and the corn okay. For fast food it was good. To just go outside and get a quick bite good. The ambiance of the place very eccentric layed back feel. The outside seating to me is the best to relax outside talk and get some sun is great. The service was good nothing to brag about you get a number and they bring the food so can't really judge. Good for a quick bite if you feel for tacos to relax and eat.

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant as we were wandering the streets of Brooklyn on a sunny Saturday. Lured by its vibrant signs and outdoor patio, we came in for what was supposed to be a quick look but stayed instead for lunch. And I'm so glad we did. Habana Outpost had the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Now, It's important to note that I don't often order Cuban sandwiches, after having tried it a few times and finding it to be dry. Habana's wasn't dry at all. The pulled pork was dripping with jus. The cheeses were melty and held all the elements together. The bread was perfectly panini-pressed and crisp. This excellent sandwich was paired with an equally excellent side of battered crispy fries. Writing this review has my mouth watering and has changed my once-lowly opinion of Cuban sandwiches. I cannot wait to return here in the height of summer when the sun is high, the breeze warm, and the margaritas ice cold.

just good vibes. food. bowl and burrito. excellent. service was v good. cool place. recommend.

I hadn't been to Habana Outpost in years but the margaritas are just how I remembered them...delicious. I went back on one of the first warm days and it felt so good to sit outside and enjoy the yard. Can't wait to go back and have their world famous corn.

I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed myself. One of my close friends hosted a dinner here to celebrate her moving to another city recently. I arrived at 6 pm; during happy hour. The line was relatively short at the time so I was able to order a pina colada (mango) with shrimp tacos, chips and guacamole, and fried corn on a cob. My order came out in a timely manner. Ideally, if you're with a group of people, a pitcher makes sense to get. However, sometimes that option is not available because the machine is down apparently during peak hours. Definitely a great place to come to for food and drinks but be mindful of when you visit. Next time I'll be sure to come on a Wednesday around 4 PM.

Pretty good tacos, especially loved the fish tacos here. Check out their weekday specials. Service and food prep can take a little longer during peak times and seating isn't always abundant.

I ordered the nachos. Came with about 11 chips total. They were okay but not nearly enough chips, they told me I need to purchase more. The drink was half off on happy hour for $6 and tastes like battery acid. Nice outside vibes tho

Great food , drinks and vibes!! Brianna is amazing very welcoming and gives good recommendations!! Will definitely come back

I've been going to Havana since the early 2000's and the food and atmosphere have stayed consistently the entire time. I had tacos on a day warm enough to sit outside and bask in the sun. And the frozen margaritas were top tier

Habana Outpost is the perfect summer escape for frozen drinks and great times! My office held a going away party for our office manager and the vibes were high! The outdoor seating in the courtyard makes you feel like you are in the middle of the action in Brooklyn but still feels secure and fun. The bright colors and great drinks (happy hour til 7pm is amazing!) make this spot a must try for any summer fun!

There are only a handful of tables, but we were still able to find a spot easily (we went around 2pm). We ordered Cuban sandwiches and guava pastelitos. I hadn't had a Cuban sandwich in years, and these absolutely did not disappoint. The sandwiches had the perfect balance of bread, meat, cheese, and sauce. They were rich and flavorful without being greasy or dry. They also came with plantain chips and a garlic sauce on the side, which was a nice touch. I also really enjoyed the guava pastry. It had a generous amount of guava filling but wasn't overly sweet. I'm so glad we discovered this spot and will definitely be coming back.

But this review is really to give the team a shoutout after finally getting to experience the restaurant in person. I was on a random walk when I stumbled upon the spot and thought, "Wait, that's Cuban Shack!" So naturally, I went in for lunch and ordered my usual steak plate. While I was ordering, I noticed they served drinks, and the guy at the counter asked if I wanted to try the frozen mojito. I was hesitant at first, but after one taste I was like, okay -- this is actually a VERY good frozen mojito. Sold! The whole place has such a welcoming energy. It's casual and quaint, with outdoor seating during the summer, good music playing, and just an easygoing neighborhood vibe. Everyone working there was friendly and made the experience that much better. I finished my meal with a cortado, and I have to give them credit for that too. So many coffee shops serve cortados now without really knowing how to make one the traditional way, but this one was lovely and exactly what I wanted.

The amount of times I have walked by here and never came in is actually pretty funny. It is a small mexican food restaurant but they had a table for us two in the back near the bathrooms. They had two tables crammed next to each other in the back. Our first table we were seated at was like literally on top of the people sitting in the booth next to us. We then asked to move to the other table they said it was fine but we kinda got a look from the waitress like are you guys serious like it was a hassle to move us or something. Not to mention that these tables are not made for two people to comfortable sit and enjoy a meal at together. They are very small! When our waitress came to take our order I went first and told her all my allergies and than she just walked away after and didn't come back and didn't take my friends order or let me finish my order. It was the most oddest thing. So another waitress came to take our order and I told her that I gave some of my order to the other person and told her all my allergies and this waitress currently said how the other one did not tell her about all my allergies but did warn me that because the kitchen is soo small there may be cross contamination. My friend and I ordered drinks both margarita's on the rocks. They came out not that cold and pretty tasteless. For food I got their world famous corn with cheese. My friend got the corn to but with the spicy powder on top of it. We decided the corn was the best thing. We also both ordered the salad but I got it with chicken and my friend got it with shrimp. We both did not really enjoy our salads but she ate hers I just had a few bites and then packed up the rest to go even though I ended up just throwing it away later in day. I will not be coming back even if I am with a friend who wants to. Many other mexican restaurants in this city where the staff is friendly and food and drinks are much better than what we had experienced here.

A visually-appealing woody interior with posters lines the wall. Vaguely Cuban accents with a very pleasant crowd. Everyone knows each other here, the staff and patrons, and it's very much a neighborhood feel when I went on a Friday evening. Drinks were strong yet delicious. Me and my significant other got the churrasco (flank steak) and the nachos. The nachos had a ton of substance. Lots of ground meat, a dollop of guac, and sour cream. Cheaper yet still very satisfying. I asked what the server usually gets. She said the flank steak is her favorite so I ordered one of those medium rare. It came out perfectly cooked with a chimichurri sauce and served with rice and beans. Super packed with flavor and yummy. My girlfriend is not a fan of "slabs of meat" but really couldn't give enough of this meal. Overall, successful meal. I found great value in this visit

We were warmly greeted by one of the servers before being seated at a table near the window. The standout dishes we enjoyed were the Ropa Vieja, Salmon, and the Calamares Ricardo. The Red Sangria was also solid. While the guacamole in the guac and chips was good, I think they used store bought Tostitos for the chips:( Our group wasn't that fond of the Tres Leche either, as it was a bit grainy and covered in chocolate sauce. While service started off strong in the beginning, it declined throughout our meal. Came to learn that an automatic tip was added, which may explain why.
