We came here for a Chef demonstration and had an absolute blast. It was a neat experience and really enjoyed the food that was prepared. The event itself was a little disorganized as we were never really "checked" in but it was still very pleasant. The demonstration was prepared by world-renowned Chef Fabiola Guillen de Zamora. She was very friendly and easily explained all the ingredients and steps to prepare her dishes. The food was amazing and we were glad to be informed that the dishes were being added to the restaurant's menu. We will be back to enjoy their authentic Guatemalan cuisine.

Enchilada not even cooked. Horrible food.

They don't even bother cooking the food. Waste of time and money. Rather do taco bell.

Rude and disrespectful owner to employees. Worried about his next car online your gonna buy him. Waited over 20 mins for a to go order that was probably placed 20 mins before. No concern by him. Please do not support greedy people like this. Just saying

Food was fresh, lots of flavor. Stuffed jalapeños were extra spicy - left hubby sweating! Salsa was good but Chips could use some improvement. Not very many veggie options. Margaritas looked good - I didn't get to try one but I saw others enjoying the drinks! Customer service good, restaurant clean and quick service.

I ordered the garnachas and several pupusas to try. They were so good! Prices are very reasonable, I've always ordered through Grubhub, so it was the first time eating in and the place was very clean.

Any restaurant which starts with "A Tit" is always going to be amazing, like Barbie's D Tits, or rather, her formerly D and now G or H or whatever, ask her, I'm not even sure. Absolutely spectacular Guatemalan restaurant which thrilled us with every bite. They really know how to make their food and they make it expertly and Incredibly. Easily one of the best Latin restaurants in the whole Houston area. We love this kind of food and there's not a lot of it around here. Plenty of Mexican restaurants but not a whole lot of Guatemalan and Honduran. This is one of the very best - if not be best - of the Central American restaurants in the Houston area. You really can't get much better than this. Of course everyone was checking out my sexy Barbie and they all had a good evening watching her eat while she was devouring this deliciousness with me. I think they wanted to devour her deliciousness. I think we ordered one of everything on the menu. Absolutely everything we ordered was fantastic. Would I go back here again? Are you kidding me? Where do I sign up. This will become a regular destination for us. I hope that they are getting enough business to stay in business because you will not find very many people cooking Central American deliciousness better than these people. And like I said. Anybody that has the word tit in their menu must be pretty good. This rap is so catchy, I think I might have A-HIT-LAN I love legs, but Barbie's so hot, she'll make me A-TIT-MAN I no longer lay on beaches, it gives me A-SH*T-TAN But I eat all the Guatemalan tings from ATITLAN! A-OK tacos and coffee; bail on the Huevos Rancheros…read more This is a very low profile taqueria, tucked in with several other Mexican businesses in a small Webster-area strip mall. Low budget business, they use a home-model Mr Coffee to brew the coffee, but it was strong and fresh. I stop in here for the occasional taco. Last time I had a chorizo and egg. The cooks whip them up to order, for $1.50 they're a good deal. Service is friendly and fast. Having left the house without breakfast, I wanted something more substantial and I ordered the huevos rancheros. I was surprised that the egg (1 or 2?) came out fried not scrambled, (but a little research shows that is the classic way to make them. So.) But the texture was all wrong, and the tomato-chile topping was odd and somewhat tasteless. It was accompanied by what seemed to be be canned ranch beans, with some horrid little hotdog slices in them. It did not hit the spot.

When I first walked i looked at the menu and saw Items I didn't recognize. I talked to the owner Luis and asked him what they were and also gave me recommendations. One the first things I ordered was the Tajadas con pollo frito. It was very very good. Unlike anything I have ever had before. It had plantains with cabbage, carrots, and other stuff... cant quite remember and topped with fried chicken (pollo frito). My wife is from Belize so she throughly enjoyed it because the food was similar. The next time i came in i brought my wife and we order the beef fajitas plate for breakfast. The beef fajitas were very tasty and flavorful! It was served with black beans as opposed to pinto beans , rice, pickled veggies, and awesome homemade tortillas. I don't like black beans but these were tasty. Not sure how to describe the rice but it was very good. The veggies complemented the the beef fajita meat well. The tortillas were freshly made, thick, and tasty. My wife and I loved them. This is definitely my new secret spot. Needless to say I will be back again...and again...and again. Gonna try the barbacoa next!! Can't wait. Like I said before...this is not a MEXICAN restaurant.

This review has great energy--you just need it tightened and cleaned 1000 dé cinco estrellas!…read more We visited El Jefe Pollo Asados (620 Nassau Rd in Webster) after a long day of touristy activities, exhausted, with a group of seven--including picky kids. We had so many restaurant options but chose this place because of the high ratings... and I'm so glad we did. I'll be honest--when we first arrived, I wasn't impressed with the outside or the area. I was a little hesitant going in. But the moment we walked through the doors, everything changed. The place felt welcoming, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere--yes, a little loud--but in a good way. It's that lively Mexican vibe: music, micheladas, carne asada... all of it. We were just tired, so I think I noticed it more. Now let's talk about the food... I ordered the Maestro Plate but swapped the meat for short rib costillas--and OH. MY. GOSH. These were hands down some of the best costillas I've ever had. Juicy, tender, packed with flavor. I cleaned those bones completely--every single bite. The dish was served with perfectly grilled "nopales" and queso panela, que ricura! Ahhh, and of course the charro beans and rice that I barely made a dent in. The portions? HUGE. Two of us shared one plate and still had leftovers--and we can eat! Now this part says everything: my grandson, who is on the spectrum and very picky, ordered pollo asado... and he tore into it. No complaints, no hesitation--he finished his entire plate. That alone speaks volumes. My daughter had the birria (and she's a birria critic), and even she couldn't finish her plate because of how generous the portion was--but she said it was full of flavor and really good. My older grandson (big growing boy with an equally big appetite) had a birria quesadilla--again, huge portion--and even he couldn't finish it, which never happens. To top it all off, the owner surprised us with a complimentary dessert--warm, soft, pillowy sopapillas with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. The kids were FULL... and still devoured every last bite. Not a crumb left. And let's talk about pricing... honey. Compared to Austin? This was a steal. I was honestly shocked at how affordable it was for the quality and portion sizes. Amazing food, generous portions, great service, and a place that turned my hesitation into loyalty. They've earned our business--100%. We will absolutely be back next time we're in town.
