I work as a Dasher for Door Dash. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was told that my customer's order would be ready in 7-8 minutes. I get it, restaurants are experiencing understaffing because of COVID (although, there were four people working in the kitchen and only four customers at the restaurant). That said, after waiting for 25 minutes, the order was still not ready. I had to leave because time is money, and while I waited on that order I was unable to complete any other deliveries. My time is just as valuable as anyone else's, and the fact that no one at the restaurant even bothered to apologize for my wait is unacceptable. If I could give this place no stars i would! Attempted to order online and the website itself was very glitchy and sent in the wrong order. I called in to see how the return process works as I didn't touch any of the food. They told me that they cannot issue me a refund and that the manager wasn't on site to talk to. We drove up there and requested that she called the manager and she took our food back. Then explained that we need to cancel the order in order to receive our payment. We can't cancel an order through the website after It has been paid for we can only see the receipt. She couldn't help us so we requested for the managers number. The manager then stated that he will cancel It on his end but that he couldn't provide a receipt to prove that our order has been canceled. They couldn't tell us when we would receive our money or how their return process works. While on the phone with the manager he had an attitude and treated us like he didn't want to deal with us and had no real answers. Finally visited this spot! My whole family had tried it and kept raving about the quality of their food. I ordered the lamb kabob with rice and hummus. My baby brother ordered the beef kabob with rice and baba. The food without a doubt tastes fresh. The rice is really well made and the kabobs were not dry. The hummus was nice and light as well as the baba. They offered a complimentary lentil soup and lamb noodle (I think). The lentil soup was no bueno, but the lamb noodle was good. My only negative comment would be - there is a slight lack of flavor. I think with their seasoning however they are catering to the masses which is what they should do. I personally like more seasoning and spices on my food. The girl at the register who was holding a baby was super friendly and sweet. The prices are VERY fair for what you get. I was so pleasantly surprised by the amount of rice we got, the food definitely filled us up. I will for sure be back to try the other menu items. I was seated as soon as I arrived and was given the menu right after. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and was quick with his answers and suggestions. I had the mixed grill platter with three skewers (lamb Kabab, beef Tikka and beef kabab). The platter came with lamb noodle soup (just a filler), Mandy rice ($1 extra compared to the regular rice, got to know about it later) and a side in falafel. The soup arrived right away while I had to wait around 20 mins for the other items. The rice was flavorful and the falafel had the perfect combination of inner moist surface and an outer crunchy layer. However, I was a bit disappointed with the skewers. The smoky flavor that you would expect from skewed Kababs was not there and they were a bit dry on the inside. Tastewise, the skewers were okay. One thing that they can work on in regards to the service is give a bit of a description related to the different kinds of condiments that come with the platter. Honestly the worst tasting "Arabic food" I've ever had, coupled with the slowest service ever. It took them more than a solid hour to bring out just our SIDES. So we were eating the sides of our meals as if it were an appetizer. Even the hummus didn't come out until more than an hour after we were seated. How long does it take to prepare a few plates of hummus? And they brought out 2 of the family member's plates way before the rest of the group's plates, so we basically watched them eat for even more time until our food finally came out. No one ever refilled our water pitcher, even. Finally when the food came out, it was practically inedible from how disgusting it tasted. If you're Middle Eastern like us and actually know what Middle Eastern food tastes like, you will be greatly disappointed. First of all, they only serve chicken shawarma on the weekends. Who does that? Odd. Then when we tried to order the chicken shish tawook platter they were "out of shish tawook". Well, there goes the 2 main things me and my sister wanted to eat. I ended up ordering a falafel sandwich which tasted nothing like falafel whatsoever. There were no seasonings in the falafel AT ALL. Most bland thing I've ever tasted, I couldn't even finish it even though I was starving. My grandma was fasting and ordered the mixed grill and she couldn't even finish hers after not eating all day long from how bad she said it tasted. The bechamel had nothing to do with actual bechamel. 90% of our group was disappointed with the flavor of the food they ordered. Even the hummus had a weird taste. How do you mess up hummus, as a Middle Eastern restaurant? All in all, the service here is super slow and the food is not worth it at all. The food was poorly cooked and underseasoned, and the rice pudding was literally inedible there was so much rose water or something floral in it. The brother of the owner continued to give us attitude when we asked when our food would be ready. Not only were the orders messed up but it took over an hour to get our food. I got two sandwiches that where way to overpriced for what they are. It took about 45 mins to have the order ready. I've been to hundreds of Mediterranean places and usually they don't charge 15 for a sandwich! Asked to have the food for dine in while I waited on the patio, but was handed to me to-go. This place is really something special. Went here today based on the reviews, so glad we did! The food is SO flavorful. It's is cooked over coal and wood which gives the meat a wonderful smoked flavor. The Mandy rice is fragrant served with fresh veggies and a zesty sauce. The manager made us a fresh cup of berry juice even though they were out. I can see why they ran out.... even the juice is amazing! Everything is seasoned to perfection. Husband and I ate here for the first time last night after a long day of fasting. Food was really delicious and staff amazing, despite the exceptionally long wait. I had the shish tawook platter and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and delightfully charred. There's tons of Mediterranean joints in the area, and I can tell you, their tawook falls flat compared to Habibi. We also had the basbousa, and one portion was large enough to split! Their cheese pie is an enormous cheese filled flatbread, its a little plain but dipping it in their accompanying soup or slathering on some sugar syrup really takes it to the next level. Because the restaurant was swamped by a record number of customers in the hour we arrived (we couldn't even wait inside it was so full), the service was extremely slow, but the owner and staff apologized and gave us complimentary knaffeh and Turkish coffees.
