Ambiance - eh, could use some work in terms of cleanliness, but they're trying. Food was good though, and great value. I ordered 2 Gotta Habit Wrap Box Deals. More specifically, one Chicken Avocado Ranch Wrap with a Garden Ranch Side Salad with a drink, and the other was a Chicken Caesar Wrap with a side of Sweet Potato Fries and a drink. It was for me and my parents to share as dinner/rest stop on our drive back from Vegas. Pretty good deal and pretty filling. I would order two Chicken Avocado Ranch wraps instead next time, since those were my favorite! I also like the yellow chili peppers they have set out - but my dad said he saw one older lady coughing/sneezing right there, and it didn't seem very sanitary. He told one of the employees, who fortunately replaced the yellow peppers, and waved at my dad when he did, so that was nice of him. Would recommend, and will definitely be back! read more

They forgot the portobello mushrooms I added so they gave it to me on the side. Ambiance: fairly large location with lots of seating and it's clean. Bathrooms also clean. We pulled out of drive thru after being asked to park at front and no one was in line behind us, but there were people inside ordering and eating so we thought that was weird since it wasn't busy and noticed it was 8:49pm. We waited for a bit and the kind young man that took our order brought our drink and apologized and we said it's okay thank you. We waited a bit longer for our 2 chicken club sandwiches and a 50/50 side order of fries/onion rings. When the young man came out he made it a point to tell us he gave us 2 dips bec they are closed and we will not be able to get in. We felt sooo bad, not realizing they were closing. Usually we ask if they still want to take our order someplace if we know they are closing. So, thank you to the 2 young men and I believe we seen an older woman too. I usually love Habit, however this time was not good at all. The drive thru took over 40 mins to get through and there was only one car ahead of me when I entered. I didn't start eating my burger till after I was on the road again and both burgers that were order had buns that were completely burned and hard. We ordered two kids burger meals, a cobb salad and a char burger on sourdough with two milkshakes. Our daughters burger was overcooked, they didn't have apple vinaigrette which was on the computerized menu, without asking the guy gave me plain ranch, then when my husband went to ask for a different salad dressing for me, the guy charged him 60 cents for that! And worst of all... my son's burger was undercooked. We are on a road trip and he's been vomiting SOOO MUCH! It's absolutely disgusting! Large chunks of raw meat! Unacceptable. The price of food has gone Skye high. The hamburgers are smaller than what they used to be. Got the teriyaki burger and the single burger, and there was no flavor . My burger that i ordered comes with garlic aïoli and there was barely any on my burger it was DRY DRY and when i asked them if i can get a side they refused me and wanted to charge me $1 for something that was supposed to come on it. UNACCEPTABLE. Never had any problem at any other location but employees here must hate their lives and jobs. My party and I stopped by this location when they opened at 10:30 for a first meal and it was very tasty. We got our orders taken quickly and the service was out in less than 10 minutes. I was headed to Vegas and made a pit stop for food. I love the habit and was so happy to find one on the way. I came at 12 and shockingly it wasn't busy. There was no one in line but it still took someone a while to come and take my order. The tables were clean which was nice and they had a good variety of drinks. When I went to go get my food I asked for ranch. They told me the first one is free and then they charge after that. I was shocked!! The habit in my area gives you as many ranches as you want. They need to get it together here. For one, my order wasn't called out but was sitting out on the counter for a while. I only found out once I got up to ask them about it. The grilled chicken salad I ordered had grotesque looking tomatoes that were clearly old and mealy. One even looked chewed up. When I brought it to their attention, they offered me a side of tomatoes which were only slightly better. The freshness of their produce is lacking. We should've kept our original plan and went to the Del Taco. Pulled off the freeway, saw The Habit and we all got excited because we love The Habit and frequent the one near our home. We began ordering and Jesse was rude to my wife when she asked a question and when confirming each item as we ordered, he mumbled every word quietly to where we couldn't hear. We should've known our experience was about to be a poor one and walked out when he asked if we wanted teriyaki sauce on our Caesar salad I went in the men's restroom as we waited for our food to find the floor was completely flooded from an overflowing urinal. I informed the gentleman I took for management and he went directly to assess the issue. Lastly as we ate our food in the car we discovered how horrible it all was. Cold burgers, partially uncooked fries, the salads tasted disgusting. I think something's wrong with the lettuce as my wife and daughter both threw their salads out minutes after tasting them. The lettuce in mine and my brothers burgers tasted gross as well. Fingers crossed that we aren't about to experience food poisoning or salmonella. Stopped here on our way from San Diego to Las Vegas. We were looking for a burger place that also had onion rings. We were pleasantly surprised to see a patty melt on the menu. We ordered our meals (2 kids meals, #6 and a stand alone burger) at 1:04 and did not receive it till 1:45 so 40mins later. 1) all of the food was at room temp like it was made at the time of order just not handed out. 2) they forgot an order of fries. 3) they placed a cold apple juice on top of the fries so when I say the fries were cold I mean like fridge cold. 4) they have shakes on the menu but apparently don't sell it anymore. (This was the reason we came here in the first place.) Definitely horrible service and food. I have been to several of their locations but the one in Barstow is definitely not up to par with the rest of them. The service was extremely slow. My coworker had her burger almost as soon as we sat down. Mine took about 15 minutes to arrive. The onion rings were lukewarm and the burger was a little warmer. There were a lot of customers waiting and waiting for their orders. None of the tables were wiped off. People had to clean their own tables before they could sit down. Terrible food and service. As someone who has worked restaurants for years, I get one or two things happening wrong, but this was a failure on all fronts. We were the second order of the day on April 12th, and we were served undercooked, COLD burgers and undercooked fries. Especially AJ (if that's her name) who was shorter with tattoos on her neck, didn't want to give me her name until I had to ask three times. When I asked for ketchup, she slammed it multiple times and came over with attitude telling me it was there. When I let her know that the burgers were cold, she just took them and threw a card at me for a burger that was LESS value than what I paid. I ended up getting sick from the little food I did try. I reached out to the corporate office because this was so awful. I live in a different state and we go 20 minutes out of the way to visit a Habit Burger location versus in n out which is right across the street. read more
