Decided I'd try something new from the Habit Burger/ Jet Kila's Korean Street Menu. I ordered the Korean Char Burger minus lettuce and tomato with fries and a Diet Pepsi. The burger would have been ample. Good customer service. Howe er not great as in past visits. They did nothing wrong but it's been extremely pleasant in the past. Slower than normal order, cook to arrival of meal. Look short staffed and had lots of to go and pick up orders. Burger was good but not great. I'll stick to the Santa Barbara Burger or the double char burger in future visits. Fries good, drink was fine. Medium amount of customers dining in. Enjoyed my meal, then left. Sometimes me and my wife can't figure out dinner after a long day at work. Habit is one of our stops if we absolutely can't agree on anything. Good burgers and onion rings with ranch is my wife's choice. Today I ordered a BBQ bacon Char burger added some crispy chicken bites since there was a coupon for it. The chicken bites were ok, not bad but not the best chicken nugget type food I've had. The BbQ burger here is one of my favorite. I wish there was more bacon in the burger but it's pretty usual for burger places to not have much. I like this burger for the bbq sauce that goes in the burger. It's not too sweet to me and not too dense. I grab some spicy yellow peppers from the condiment area and I'm good for dinner. My husband's was the same. We tried the new Korean chicken bites and they were tasty and hot! My tempura green beans were soggy and cracked. Not sure how that happens. The atmosphere was... odd. I've been to this Habit Burger spot in Elk Grove a couple of times before. It is located in a small plaza with a lots of other businesses so parking can be full sometimes. It's well organized and well maintained with a good size dining area. On previous visits, the burgers were good. However this last visit, the burger was not very good. It looked like it was a frozen burger. The burger patties at Habit Burger are supposed to be fresh, not frozen. So obviously it was not the juicy, delicious burger as expected. The staff were very courteous and service was very good though. May be a while before visiting this spot again, there are other Habit Burger spots in other areas. read more

Got a double charburger from The Habit the other day for a quick dinner and it was decent. It was my first time trying their burger and I was hoping it would be flavorful and savory, but it lacked seasoning. I would say it's still better than major fast food burger chains because it's fresh and uses good quality ingredients. I like how there was an option to swap the regular American cheese for white American cheese, and grilled onions for raw onions. I placed the order online and scheduled a time for it.
