Another 5 star meal from the close by Elk Grove In-N-Out Burger. I'm an Animal Style Cheeshburger person and today's was perfect! I was wise to get there just before the noon rush and when I left every seat was taken. My folks were regular customers of the Synder's original location in 1948. I was born 1/3/49 and on the way home from San Gaberial Valley Hospital I went to my first In-N-Out drive thru. I have been loving them all of my almost 77 years. My move from the South to NorCal just happened to coinside with In-N-Out's move up here. This week they had 2 Grand Openings in Tennessee, the first for their new South East division. This is the 10th state they have locations in now, but there will be many more soon.

Clean, friendly, quick and fresh. What more can you expect by the most desirable burger chain? Service is top notch with a smiling friendly greeting, of groomed and uniformed young staff. Looks like Staff members sweep, wipe and rotate positions from fryer, prep, cleaning, and counter. The beef patties are not huge but with fresh garnishes of sweet onion, tomato and lettuce it can feel like a bigger meal than it is. It tastes fresh and healthy unlike other frozen fast food places. Although pickles are not included, one of my favorite features are the very hot peppers that you can bag and take with you. Glad it's not in my neighborhood, otherwise I would be there almost everyday.

Food: In-N-Out has long been my go-to for quick, delicious, and affordable burgers, and the Elk Grove location takes it to another level. If you haven't tried the Flying Dutchman yet, do yourself a favor and give it a shot! This secret menu item is a no-bun wonder--two juicy patties, gooey melted cheese, and crunchy onions. Perfect for anyone watching their carbs or just looking for a pre-workout meal that won't disappoint. The patties are always perfectly cooked, and the cheese has that great melty texture. If you're in the mood for more variety, I highly recommend the 4x0 (no spread, just pure beef) or the 4x4 with both grilled and raw onions. It's the kind of place where you can customize your order exactly how you like it, and it never disappoints. Overall, the food is always fresh and delicious, staying true to the classic In-N-Out formula. Service: The service here is exceptional. The employees are consistently friendly, fast, and efficient. I love how they're always on the move, making sure the restaurant stays clean and that orders are prepared quickly. Even when the place is busy, the staff manages to keep everything running smoothly without missing a beat. They are constantly bussing tables and ensuring that the entire dining area is tidy, which adds to the overall great experience. Atmosphere: I've always appreciated how clean and well-kept this location is. You can tell the staff is committed to maintaining a welcoming environment, whether you're dining in or taking your meal to go. It's a busy spot, but despite that, the atmosphere remains chill and relaxed. There's nothing worse than eating in a messy space, but at this In-N-Out, that's never a problem. Consistency: One of the best aspects of this location is the consistency. No matter when I visit--whether it's lunch or late at night--I can count on the food being fresh, the service being fast, and the experience being just as good as the last time. The quality never fluctuates, which is something I truly value in a fast food spot. Wait Time: Unlike some of the more crowded In-N-Out locations (looking at you, Laguna), the Elk Grove spot tends to have shorter lines. This is a huge plus for me. I can get in and out without the frustration of waiting too long in line. The food is always worth the wait, but it's nice to know that I can enjoy it without the hassle. Hours of Operation: This location has great hours, making it easy to swing by for a meal whenever you're craving it: * Monday to Wednesday: 10:30 AM - 1:00 AM * Friday and Saturday: 10:30 AM - 1:30 AM * Sunday: 10:30 AM - 1:00 AM Overall: I'm a huge fan of the Elk Grove In-N-Out. It's become my go-to spot for a quick, reliable meal that's always fresh. I can count on the quality and speed every time I visit. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by--this In-N-Out location will not disappoint!

This in-n-out is one of the faster locations I've been to. They always have a line of cars waiting and busy inside but always push out consistent food. There ice machine here is that good light airy ice just like sonics. I always order a double double with with chopped peppers , but this time around I got a double double animal style with chopped grilled pinions, whole grilled onion and raw onion. Delicious. All the onion types add an enjoyable crunch to the burger. Pro-tip if you have Americans cheese at home, just get fries with chopped grilled onions(it's free) and add the cheese on at home. Love in n out , and would definitely recommend their simple but delicious menu.

I have had a falling out with In N Out in Sacramento, the metro market does not seem to know how to make a good burger and fries, unlike locations in Southern California. I thought I'd give this newer location in Elk Grove near the Costco a try. I came with an open mind. I was in line for 10-15 minutes with just a handful of cars ahead of me. I ordered a hamburger meal with mustard instead of spread, add pickles. The burger was not attractive. It was tiny too! That shrinkflation is no joke! An anemic little piece of whitish iceberg lettuce peeked out. The buns were toasted so there's that at least. I made it to three bites of the burger. Unfortunately just bad. The fries were salty, greasy, and inedible. Into the trash they went. Never again, Sacramento!

Great service and the staff is always nice and pleasant considering how busy they are. Food is always great and restaurant is clean. I always get a 3x3.

This place was hopping and the employees were hustling and working well together. Super busy in the drive thru, so ordered inside. Also very busy but was helped immediately. Waited about 10-15 minutes for my order, not a big deal since there were 20+ orders ahead of me plus the drive thru orders. They were working well together, very cohesive team, very efficient. So much communication between staff, everyone seemed to know their job. They were putting out orders right and left and no one complained about a wrong order. Everyone was friendly, professional and represented the brand well. Their uniforms are near clean, pressed. Excellent food as requested!

On par with any other In-N-Out. Good burgers at good prices. They typically get the order correct, but they have forgotten things on several occasions (ex: when I ask for spread on the side, there's no spread). The inside of the buns were severally charred on my most recently visit as well. All in all, I don't have any major complaints about this location and it's the one I visit most frequently.

This location is always clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Really all the locations I've visited have friendly staff

Your typical In n Out! Took a few friends here for lunch who were coming from out of town. Got the food to go, double double and a single with fries. Everything was fresh and tasty! We got some peppers and animal style sauce to go which was nice! Service was quick and restaurant was clean!

Yes! Another perfectly cloned In-N-Out Burger restaurant that's even closer to my home then the other locations. My family has been going to the other locations and the quality taste that In-N-Out prides themselves of is no different at this NEW location. We were afraid the parking lot would be insane with Costco and all the other businesses nearby but the traffic has been acceptable. Because of the new location, everything is so clean and there's plenty of seating. The workers are glad to serve and my order has been accurate the numerous times I've been here since they opened. My favorite is a #2 Grilled Onions and a Coke and it's refreshing to see the prices are still within my budget and dare I say better than burgers twice the amount.

It seems like a tough crowd--but after my visit, I can see why expectations run high. My cheeseburger featured high-quality, freshly ground beef that was well-seasoned with a flavorful, salty crust. The patty was tender and juicy, exactly what you want from a handcrafted burger. The brioche bun was nicely toasted, and the cheese melted perfectly over the patties--both essential details that elevate a great cheeseburger. The burger was simply but thoughtfully assembled with shredded lettuce, sliced onion, pickles, and Butcher's aioli. Their house-made sauce added a nice depth of flavor without overpowering the beef. I appreciated how they kept the toppings classic and balanced--fresh, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, red onion, and tangy pickles complement the richness of the patty and sauce beautifully. The fries were just as impressive. They had that ideal contrast: an ultra-crispy, golden-brown exterior with a light, fluffy interior. Perfectly seasoned, pleasantly salty, not greasy, and sturdy enough to hold their shape--they checked all the boxes. Overall, they hit all the key elements of a truly great handcrafted cheeseburger and fries. High marks from me.

The buns are very soft and buttery. I had a bite of the jalapeno smash and wow I would get this next time - the sauce and grilled onions with jalapeno are perfect compliments to the burger. The fries are also super crispy and well seasoned. Very close to my ideal fry (just a bit more seasoning and it'd be perfect!) It was my brother's 2nd time here and the menu has changed since then. I'm not the kind to bash a restaurant or any type of business, but I'm gonna give my honest opinion. This place is overhyped due to social media! I wanted to try it out because I seen it on TikTok and the food looked absolutely appetizing. It was a busy Saturday evening around 730pm. I told my kids I wasn't cooking so we were going here because I wanted to try it. They were all for it because who doesn't like a good burger and since smash burgers are the way to go, why not. Upon walking in the paintings on the walls catch your eyes. It's a very casual kind of place. When looking at the menu it's very appealing and makes you want to order the whole menu lol jk. The "combos" aren't really combo meals it's just the burger and the fries, the drink is extra, for X in my book. The young lady at helping me was helpful with the questions I had. We didn't dine it we took our food home, but before we left I took pictures of the way the food looked just in case it didn't look like that when we got home. I got the jalapeño smash, my oldest had the classic combo, and my youngest had the kids combo (which included the drink). The burger IN MY OPINION was under seasoned, the jalapeño were all cut in different thickness, it wasn't something to write home to mom about. Lastly the fries reminded me of Taco Bell fries without the sweetness in the seasoning very underwhelming. Even though this wasn't a good experience for my first visit, I'm willing to go back and try something else other than the burger.

I came here with my crew last week while we were working in the area…read more Everybody on my crew was happy to do Five Guys and get those unlimited fries, if you dine in and finish your first order. Yeah, that's right, not advertised, but if you're dining in and you finish the order of fries, just ask for a refill and they give it to you! So, pro tip: always order the small fries, that is unless you are doing take out. The yare some of the best fries around. About the way they list their burgers. The "regular" burger is actually a DOUBLE burger with two patties. They shame the manly men and most anybody else, by listing the normal single patty burger as a "LITTLE" burger when all it is, is what most people would call a normal burger. Oh, nobody wants a "LITTLE" burger! You get all the same free toppings free, like grill onions and mushrooms on both versions. But since we're on the expense account, everybody gets the "REGULAR" double cheeseburger with "the works". The inside is clean and ordering is easy. We just get 2 orders of small fries for the 5 of us, since I figure we'll get some refills anyways. They do give a ton of fries even at the small size. There's a cup they fill then over fill the bag. I will say they do have some very good fries here, better than In N Out that's for sure. Our orders come up and the burgers are all wrapped well and the fries are soaking grease on the brown paper bag. I'll say, this burger is very tasty, not sure it's worth almost $12 bucks with tax and fries are extra like $5 bucks. But that's what expense accounts are for! We did get a couple of refills on the fries, I love that part and then enough to take with us to munch on in the Suburban and refill our drinks before we left!

It was early in the lunch rush so I know that everything will be freshly cooked and not rushed = Bacon burger w/grilled onions combo and a cherry coke. I get my food and was excited to eat since it's been a while since I've eaten here. The burger was okay, but the patties were over cooked, so I needed to add some ketchup for some moisture. Yes, I know their burgers are cooked "well" but when the burger tastes dry and no moisture from the patty's fat then it was overcooked, especially I was dining inside (so patties should be right off the cook top . And the bacon and grilled onions were non-existence. The fries were done right = hot with just enough crisp. Overall: the food was worth the $0.43 I paid and probably think twice about returning, Maybe if I'm in the mood just for fries .
