The bathroom was spotless, and there wasn't even a water steak on the tables they were so well maintained 4.8/5 The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was very quick. We had a few questions about the menu and the lady at the register was patient with us and thorough so we knew exactly what we were getting 4.5/5 Now for the food... we ordered twisted fries, a large drink, the classic Philly and a chicken hoagie. The phillys were delicious, but tasted like any other really great Philly, but these ones stand out a bit more because the bread on these babies is phenomenal 4.6/5. The fries were standard but well fried 3.5/5. The soda fountain offered flavors so we added vanilla to our shared dr. Pepper but it did nothing but make it taste more sugar and less vanilla 2.5/5. Now we HAVE to talk about the price... because, you maaaaay just have to clear out your savings account if you want a 15 inch... which is $31!!! The 7" was $16 and that's pretty pricey for a Philly! Had the worst experience ordering takeaway from this place. Too many things this establishment got wrong. Maybe the only thing they get right is that the steak tastes good. Ordered online using their website and apparently the coupon code they advertise on their website ($10 off if you spend $20) is no longer applicable. Thats really bothersome to keep the advertisement up if you do not honor it anymore. Wife went to pick up the sandwiches and luckily she checked the bag when she got to the car because they forgot one of our sandwiches. When she came home, I could not even tell the difference between her small sandwich and my medium sandwich that I paid 6 more dollars for. I just that was so bizarre. Their sandwiches are already very expensive so it was really disappointing to see that paying another 6 dollars barely gets me anything. Worst offender is the kids meal.. I ordered a traditional Philly cheesesteak with a side of Aujus sauce, a chicken cheesesteak, fries, and a Dr Pepper, and I honestly couldn't find a single thing to complain about with the food. The bread was phenomenal, the meat was seasoned perfectly, the chicken cheesesteak was just as good as the traditional, and the fries disappeared so fast I started wondering if someone else was eating them. The restaurant itself was spotless, clean, and had a welcoming atmosphere that made you feel comfortable as soon as you walked in. I also had my APBT (American Pit Bull Terrier) service dog with me, and the staff was nothing but professional and respectful. Nobody made rude comments or treated us differently, which I genuinely appreciated. Then the bill showed up and I had to make sure I hadn't accidentally financed the building. For a minute I thought maybe the sandwiches came with stock options or a monthly mortgage payment. Only thing is the prices are very high, I have downgraded from the 15" to the 7" as that's how much prices have gone up. $16.89 for a 7", $21.89 for the 10" and $19.89 for the 15". Wow. My husband went in to pick up his food after placing an order over the phone. Phone call went fine, he asked to confirm the price on the call. The lady had to go to the register to enter it in. All good. Set the expectation for pick up. For the "BOGO" deal you have to get a drink and a fry. Got chili cheese fries and an Oreo shake. Quoted him $54.02 which I was already thinking was ludicrous but whatever. He goes in, they don't apply the bogo discount and charge him $70.96. My husband is the calm one in our relationship. He's chill when he asks why it's not what he was quoted. She's like, oh, I forgot to give you the discount. She refunds him $88.70?! This is what happens with a $20 minimum wage. So, now the manager has to help him, he thanks the girl who couldn't get it right and gets an attitude? As if he's the one who made a mistake? The meat filling inside the sandwiches are skimpy compared to other cheesesteak shops. Bread is good, flavor is there. For the price you pay is it worth it? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
