I came here with my crew last week while we were working in the area. Everybody on my crew was happy to do Five Guys and get those unlimited fries, if you dine in and finish your first order. Yeah, that's right, not advertised, but if you're dining in and you finish the order of fries, just ask for a refill and they give it to you! So, pro tip: always order the small fries, that is unless you are doing take out. The yare some of the best fries around. About the way they list their burgers. The "regular" burger is actually a DOUBLE burger with two patties. They shame the manly men and most anybody else, by listing the normal single patty burger as a "LITTLE" burger when all it is, is what most people would call a normal burger. Oh, nobody wants a "LITTLE" burger! You get all the same free toppings free, like grill onions and mushrooms on both versions. But since we're on the expense account, everybody gets the "REGULAR" double cheeseburger with "the works". The inside is clean and ordering is easy. We just get 2 orders of small fries for the 5 of us, since I figure we'll get some refills anyways. They do give a ton of fries even at the small size. There's a cup they fill then over fill the bag. I will say they do have some very good fries here, better than In N Out that's for sure. Our orders come up and the burgers are all wrapped well and the fries are soaking grease on the brown paper bag. I'll say, this burger is very tasty, not sure it's worth almost $12 bucks with tax and fries are extra like $5 bucks. But that's what expense accounts are for! We did get a couple of refills on the fries, I love that part and then enough to take with us to munch on in the Suburban and refill our drinks before we left! read more

I gave five guys a try during their buy one get one promotion . The burgers here are more expensive than other fast food burger joints. I can't say these burgers are THE Best , but I can say they taste fresh. I honestly wouldn't come back for the burgers, but I would for the fries they always pour a little bit at your in the bag to make sure you're getting the value of what you paid for. Occasion fries were extremely delicious crispy likey on the with mashed potato filling. They were extremely busy as everyone was utilizing the app to take advantage of the bogo sale . It was so busy they even stopped taking orders in the store and and were only honoring online orders. Napkins had not been refilled the entire 40 mins I was there. Five Guys is delicious and the quality is amazing. They had a combo meal for $13.99 and comes with a little burger, fries, and a drink. It is a great deal and a good zied portion. The ingredients are fresh and each burger and order of fries are cooked to order. I also liked that they had Sprite Zero in their soda fountain - I feel like that's rare. Because if everything is cooked to order, it does take time for your order to come out (but worth it). Went to five guys after a long hiatus ... it's always been extremely overpriced in my opinion but I was craving Cajun fries and they were next to where I was. $10 for Cajun fries ... they were over seasoned and a bit soggy. Over a decade later and this Five Guys is still one of my go to places in Elk Grove for Hamburgers. They have a ton of selection that can be added for FREE! Take your pick: Mayo, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomato, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, Ketchup, Mustard, Relish, Onions, Jalapeño Peppers, Green Peppers, A1 Steak Sauce, BBQ Sauce, and Hot Sauce or have ALL of it! Start by picking out the size: small (which is a typical regular size) or regular (which is a typical large size). Add Cheese and/or Bacon for a little more $. Make sure to try out their Cajun style fries but be careful, their sizes again are larger than expected. Tip: can ask them to also grill the green peppers or jalapeños. After ordering, crack open their peanuts and get ready for an American treat. On average, the food comes out made to order within 5 to 10 minutes depending on how busy they are. I have been coming here for many years and they have been consistent, fresh, friendly, and have clean facilities. I like their open window inside seating and their umbrella covered outdoor seating. Been a while since I came here (back when peanut shells were thrown in the ground). Dining area was clean and spacious. Lot of accolades on the wall, as well as signage promoting freshness and quality ingredients in their burgers. Every customer was greeted once the door opened; all employees wore hats and gloves (always a nice touch to view as their prepping food in the view of customers). We ordered the double patty hamburgers and a single; quality of meat (not frozen) was good. The fries were not greasy, but just a tad wilted for me. Terrible service! Allergy sufferers beware! I have an allergy and the acting Manager at Five Guys said "it would be too much of a hassle to make my lunch unless we wanted to wait 30 plus minutes"! It's a African-American guy with the Afro and curly hair and let me just tell you I'm a delivery driver and I've never experienced someone as rude as this guy as a delivery driver we receive pin code to receive the right Order of food when I asked for the pin code. The guy gave me attitude and said that's not my job my dude first of all you're an employee and you should watch how you speak to customers because customer service is the number one thing. My daughter had an interview at this location yesterday. She was there little early and told the staff she had an interview, the manager said there is no interview since it is a "BOGO DAY". It is a reminder for managers to be respectful of others time, if you know you can't take interviews please let the candidate know ahead of time. I used to enjoy Five Guys Burgers that was years ago, apparently a lot can change in 6 years. Decided to get this for dinner tonight and was very disappointed. When we have a hankering for a cheese burger and bucket of fries (not really but a healthy serving), our go to is 5-Guys. They'll prepare it just about any way you like. I find it odd at first that Take-out orders over the phone are limited to an order $25 max. Your options are to order through Door Dash or what we did was to order through the 5-Guys App., we spent $100 including tip. I found the App user friendly. Went here for dinner since I was craving a good burger. I was sooo happy I chose Five Guys. Walking in the atmosphere was great, I was greeted by a gentleman ready to take my order with a friendly smile. The restaurant was clean but rather empty. Probably because it was 20 minutes to closing time. My 4 year old was with me and as I was trying to place my order she was saying mommy mommy every 2 seconds interrupting me and the gentleman with his quick thinking handed me a cup with peanuts to give her to enjoy. She was distracted enough at that time (just by the sight of the peanuts) to allow me to order and I was thrilled. Plus I had to give a huge kudos to the young man for his quick thinking. EXCELLENT SERVICE! Gina (manager) is amazing! I had 50+ musicians to feed after sound check right before a performance. This place executed our plan flawlessly. I met with Gina about a week before and explained that I needed to feed a small army in under an hour. She agreed to let me create an order on an excel sheet and bring it in early the day of the event. I brought my guys in three waves. The kitchen was extremely organized, efficient and friendly. Not only did they take care of us in record time, everyone was very happy with their meal. To top it off, the customers that came in during this time were attended to just was swiftly. This is the first time I have been to 5 Guys. Their standard cheeseburgers come with two patties, about a 1/2 lb. There are Mini-Burgers which are just a single 1/4 lb patty. It is also far from mini and probably ideal for most. You then tell them what you want on it, and there is 'All the Way', which is eight condiments and toppings. There are a total of 15 condiments you can choose from. Their fries are a lot as they overfill the fries container into the paper bag holding your burgers. The meal is what I would call messy, overpacked delicious. as you bite into their burgers with the condiments falling out. Not a cheaper price burger, though, compared to many fast foods, but it is more appetizing. The service at this location is vibrant and cheerful, from taking the order to receiving it. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The music is fast party music and louder. I enjoyed my time and dinner here. I will return. read more
