They're located inside Elk Grove's Sky River Casino so parking can sometimes be a bit challenging to find depending on how busy the casino is. I was told the order would be ready in about ten minutes and they were spot on. We live about 15 minutes away and everyone dug in immediately. The burgers came with their sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onions. The burgers were good but slightly overcooked for our taste. The fries were hot, crunchy, and the seasoning was great. The milkshakes were a fancier version of what you'd receive at a typical burger joint but were pretty tasty. Esa (the cashier/server) was extremely personable and made me feel like a friend whom she just happened to be serving. I can confirm that the establishment lives up to it's near-perfect Yelp reviews. 9/23/24 - I came with my brother & his wife to celebrate her birthday. We were all undecided when we got to the food court, because there weren't as many offerings as we had hoped, but what they had was satisfying. I opted for a burger from Butcher's Burgers. My brother also got a burger & fries. That double burger did not disappoint!!!! I tell you that will always be my choice. I grabbed a few of my brother's fries and I was glad I didn't order because that was a huge basket of fries. I didn't care for the fries, but next time I might try the shake. I wish they would offer just a vanilla shake or ice-cream soda, that will make a great pairing with burgers. The cashier was very pleasant she is a people person; very personable. She helped my sister-in-law with questions she had about the pizza at the other concession. She told her which one was the best! I was thinking it was just a slice, but it's a whole pizza. While I was waiting for our burgers I got our drinks straws, napkins and I had to go back to get our condiments. Everything was well stocked, plenty of packaged mayo, mustard and relish. Also, salt and pepper for your fries. I was very hungry and could not wait to eat my burger. I wish I had one of those burgers right now!! We decided to take a minute and wander through the casino and see what they had to offer. Long and behold, we landed in front of this cute burger spot in the back corner of the food court. I got the bbq burger and my partner got the double cheeseburger with some fries, which ended up being only $30! This was unexpectedly affordable! The burgers were delicious, hardy and filling. Most expensive burger on the menu is $13, add additional $3 for the fries, then add additional $3 for the fountain soda = a total of $19 for a complete meal. Insane price? Yes, but the food is actually good. I think it's worth it - at least the fries and burger. The $3 fountain soda should be complimentary as like all the other casinos around Sacramento; it should be $3 if it's from a bottle or can. The fries are seasoned well, burger is juicy and delicious. Today I visited Butchers Burger it was my first time at this restaurant and casino and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I stood in line to order a burger, waiting patiently for the cashier to assist the customer ahead of me. As I was waiting, a white female staff member made eye contact with me several times but didn't offer any help. Then, a couple behind me approached the counter, and to my surprise, she immediately assisted them without even acknowledging me, even though I was next in line.
