Paradise Valley Burger has become somewhat legendary in this part of town. I first heard about them from a co-worker who swore by them when they were located down the road, but when they moved to their current location not far from my office, I knew I would have no excuse to not try them. I wandered in for lunch one day and noticed that the menu appears to have been scaled down from what they used to offer according to friends, so there aren't as many "wild" choices for burgers anymore as far as I can tell, so there are five burgers to choose from. I was going to try something basic for my first visit to get a feel for how they do a typical burger anyway, so I ordered the $10 Paradise Burger, but since I'm not really a fan of cucumbers or pickled onions, I had them leave those off. What remained were the beef patty, lettuce, tomato, and thousand island dressing, so I added bacon for an upcharge. I also went for the combo and got fries and a drink for an additional $6. (Other burgers on the menu are more expensive, ranging from $13.50 to $14, and they also offer a couple of chicken sandwiches and a grilled cheese sandwich. They have two salads as well, and the rest are sides, drinks, and desserts.) Service was friendly, and after ordering, I grabbed a table indoors. They have a little bit of outdoor seating and as many tables as they can fit inside. It's a small, very basic place--clearly known for the food more than the ambience, but there's nothing wrong with it. It's not meant to be anything more than that. Once my burger arrived, the presentation was good, and I dug in. The burger was very tasty, and the fries were delicious. The patties were cooked right, and I had no complaints about the portion size. Although everything was good, I guess people had pumped up the place so much that I expected more. I wasn't "wowed," but I had no complaints either. I might feel a little disappointed in the more expensive burgers, but I won't know until I try one. I'd probably feel better about a slightly lower price for the combo add-on. Ultimately, I think this is a decent burger joint and a place you should try. You may very well come away more impressed than I was!

I don't remember the name of my burger but it was the basic kind. It was deliciously seasoned well with just enough crispy edges!! I don't live in the area but would definitely recommend trying this place if you live nearby!

Los Onion Rings and the Booze Burger

High time I tried the "new" location and wrote a review, we have been going to PV Burger for years. Saturday lunch, only one table occupied. Cashier gave us time and took our orders. I am all excited, because they now have sweet potato tots, which I ordered with my lettuce wrapped Beach House burger. Son was craving the Booze Burger, a behemoth creation with two beer battered patties, whiskey pickled peppers and some delicious vodka cream sauce with green chili and bacon. It shouldn't work but it totally does! He also had to try the Los Onion Rings, chorizo spiced rings with jalapeno, hot honey and rosemary, right up his alley. Husband ordered the basic PV Burger with cheese. This one came loaded with bright pink pickled onions. And he had the French fries, too. All devoured! When our meals arrived in their red baskets, I asked for a side of ranch dressing to dunk my sweet potato tots in. Cashier brought me two sides of ranch and refused to take one back. Although it was generous and clearly house-made not bottled, it was not the most flavorful ranch. That did not stop me from deeply dunking though! Sweet potato tots do make an excellent ranch dressing delivery device. Highly recommended. The Beach House burger has pico and smoked mozzarella with a big green chili. Tasty but slippery! We are sure glad we got to the new location and could not have enjoyed our lunch more. Thanks PV Burger for consistent high performance and creative offerings. You're the best!

Inside so clean and fun atmosphere

PD burger has moved! I found them in the parking lot at Frank Lloyd Wright and the 101 across from Staples. You guys will remember this is the place that got highly rated by Guy Fieri with diners, drive-ins and dives. Same great burgers, fantastic milkshakes made with actual milk and real fruit if you want a strawberry one like I had. Great prices for great burgers. Love it!!!

Burger Brûlée

I went with the Burger Brûlée since it was their signature item and was such a unique option with the burnt sugar layer on the inside of the bun. It was a good play on sweet and salty. I really enjoyed the burger and I'm always a fan of adding an over hard egg. I don't like a ton of seasoning/salt so the fries were a bit over seasoned for me but that's strictly a subjective preference. I went around 1130 and they were busy! Not a ton of seating so we sat outside - it wasn't too bad for being August. The staff were so nice and accommodating and made sure that we were comfortable outside and didn't need the misters turned on.

We visited this week for lunch for the first time. I ordered the Beach House burger, minus the jalapeño ranch (love jalapeños not ranch) with fries. My wife ordered the grilled chicken on lettuce instead of their delicious (thin, perfectly grilled) bun. NO fries either. Who goes to a place where BURGER is in its actual name but orders chicken? But over the years: 'happy wife happy life,' as the old saying goes. I want to give this a five star review (NOTE: updated to 5 stars) but I found that the few fries I was able to eat left me wanting. (The reality is that they were the most perfect French fries ever. Their secret ingredients-seasoned salt mix is worth the visit alone!) My wife gobbled them up and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing!* *updated to a five star review! I should've told my wife to just listen to MY advice (said no sane man ever). We'll be back! We will be back often. In fact we drove past a multitude of chain restaurants to this excellent locally owned hamburger restaurant. Next time she'll order a burger. AND FRIES! Happy wife happy life. Great service too.

Got burger brulee and a daily special burger: backyard bbq burger. I loved the sweet and savory taste of burger brulee, never tried this flavor in any other burger store. The egg and 1000 island sauce were perfect combination! And the crunchy sugar on buns added different texture to it, interesting and delicious. There are bbq chips in backyard bbq burger, it's also a flavorful and tasty burger. Overall, a little bit pricey but tastes good!

First time into this location but second time enjoying PV burger. The server offered great selections and we were able to easily customize the menu. I went simple while my hubby went spicy and my little guy ordered off the kids menu. The spicy ranch was delish and even my mild palate was able to tolerate it. Tasty burgers and good value. Would recommend or go back for sure.

Our teens dub this place GOAT'd. Knowledgeable and friendly employees, great selection, reasonably priced for the Paradise Valley/ Scotsdale area, amazing flavor and speed of service. Also, real options for gluten-friendly patrons! No complaints, whatsoever.

My family and I stopped here today to satisfy our hamburger cravings. It's safe to say our wishes came true. My dad ordered the backyard barbecue burger and absolutely loved it. He said it's his new favorite burger and will definitely be coming back to get it again. I ended up getting the los chick sandwich and it blew my mind too. I absolutely loved the spicy Cajun chicken as it was paired perfectly with the sweet and spicy jalapeño honey. It's the perfect pairing for a chicken sandwich. We also got some onion rings to share and they tasted great as well. The service was fantastic, and the waiters were super nice. The overall ambience of the shop was great too as we stayed here for a long time chatting with each other.

PV Burger with a side of the Bacon Fat Guac

My husband only wanted to go to one place for his birthday lunch, and it was PV Burger for a Burger Brûlée. This was our first to visit the new location and we were delighted to see that not much else changes except the address and some decor. It's really nice and clean inside, service was still great, and prices were still super reasonable for what you get. The most important thing is the food was still incredibly delicious! Word of advice when eating the Brûlée: just go all in and keep the messy hands until you've finished because n you can use a whole stack of napkins if you wipe your hands between each bite. Embrace the oozy chaos! We got a side of fries and the sweet tots. Thought a milkshake after we were done eating but we were so stuffed! We always refer everyone here and are happy say that we still will!

This is a new location for PV Burgers It's located in a VERY busy shopping center where Walmart, BestBuy, PartyCity, etc...are located so there's plenty of parking but you might need to walk a little if the few spots are taken in front of restaurant. Its very simple, not fancy dancy, or fancy decor & there's inside & outside seating. This is definitely what I would call a burger joint so there sides are onion rings, fries & 2 different salads to choose from.Good service & vibe & the staff is moving & grooving. I had the onion rings which were delicious & the Paradise Chez Burger. It was good but the bun was a little soggy.Other than that all the toppings tasted freshly made. They do offer a gluten free bun & lots of different veggies to choose from so you can totally put together a veggie burger. I also ordered a side of Jalapeño Ranch sauce/dip & could have passed on it. It didn't have any spice to it nor flavor & you have to pay for the small side order cups. If you like a beer with your burger they do serve beer.as well as drinks from their soda fountain. Overall prices seem reasonable, place is clean & good service. Great burger spot for the family/kids, quick burger for lunch, fun casual date & definitely come as you are.

This was so good!

Stopped in and had burgers. I loved the signature burger, it had the egg. So good! And the fry seasoning was perfect!

Best Bolognese in town in my opinion. The staff was more than accommodating. I showed up in my work attire, definitely not dressed for this restaurant and from the hostess all the way to my server and bartender and everyone treated me with the upmost respect. They moved me to a better table, and for the inconvenience gave me another mocktail. This is absolutely my favorite absolutely 100% amazing. The bartenders are amazing however we are sad our normal peeps have left. Tonight Sean KILLED it with us and so glad he was still there since first meeting him on Halloween. Honestly the reason for 4 stars is the fact the drunken wifey is gone and the 3% credit card fee. We have been coming here for a little over 5 years and never had to pay that. Wild change and slightly bs. You already charge a lot for food and drinks (increases over the years are noticeable with management changes) but when you always have a rather large bill usually $700-sometimes over $1000 depending on the kind of evening we're having it is going to be very noticeable. A change like that needs to be more obvious, minus a little print at the bottom of the menu. No one even noticed (since we really didn't need the menu to order) nor did our server. It truly makes me want to give you a three star but I can't discredit the hard working staff and people in the kitchen, as it is clearly the change of new management and the "rebuild" from the beginning of the year. It speaks volumes to a group that has been dedicated to the Americano since March of 2020 and now makes us wonder if it's time to move onto a different restaurant.

Here's the rub - waiters constantly coming by to take away our half eaten appetizers, our half eaten salads, dinners and desserts. We pay. 30% tip. We're industry people. No kidding - at near 7:00, the young manager comes over (I'll call him Skippy) and tells us there is a (2) hour limit and urges us out of our booth. Again, we had a reservation at 5:00.
