I was trying to figure out what to eat when my coworker recommended The Habit because they have a lunch special. I decided to give it a try, and honestly, for $9, it's a pretty great deal! I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap, which came with sweet potato fries and a drink. I also liked that you can customize your side, which is always a nice option. The restaurant was very busy when I visited, but the inside is very spacious with plenty of seating. I ordered through the kiosk and waited about 20 minutes for my food. After receiving my food, I had to wait a little longer to get my drink cup, which was slightly inconvenient. Our 19th hole was here after ten of us played a round of golf at Metropolitan this past Thursday. Being fans of Korean dramas and Korean food some of us wanted to try the new Korean items. What hubby & I ordered on the Habit app: * he had the Korean sweet n spicy char - either hubby was very hungry or the char burger was very tiny. He finished the burger in no time * I had the Korean crispy rice salad with grilled chicken with sweet spicy sauce - it was good but I'm not a salad person. I don't know why I ordered it other than it said Korean. For a complete meal ordering a side would have round up the meal. I left not quite satisfied. It was super light. The bread wasn't oily, and the flavors were great. I would not consider it a heavy burger to eat. The deep fried green beans are excellent. After ordering, I waited another 15 minutes for my food while sitting right in front of the counter watching employees laugh and talk instead of working. I've been here multiple times and they are slow in comparison to other burger spots. Today was exceptionally slow. I had a receipt order AND a buzzer order. The receipt number was never called. Today I was itching to get out of the house so I did a mobile delivery in the app. It was a weekday lunch pick-up with only 3 customers waiting in line for their orders. My mobile order consisting of a Sea Salt Caramel Shake, Patty Melt well done with mustard, grilled onions, and sautéed mushrooms + Parmesan fries was ready waiting for me to pick up. The shake was taken freshly out of the freezer to keep it cold and it was nice and thick. My fries were a bit overcooked however food was kept in the car for about a 30min drive back home so unsure if that had something to do with it. The melt was amazing! I placed an order today, 12:30 PM, and 45 minutes later the Door Dash driver advised me through text, that Habit Burger Cancelled it. Then there's no phone number to call except the store and they can't tell me why. There's no phone number for customer service. With an experience like this, I would advise everyone to stay away. This is literally the worst location!! Every time I come here I always have a problem. If I order curbside pick upick up I have to check my food before I leave because I have gone home and realized that part of my order was forgotten. I like Habit Burger. They're one of my favorite burger spots. The quality here falls a little short, but still within the Habit Burger standard. My main complaint here is that it's not really "fast" fast. I came on a Friday around 6:30pm. The place was semi-busy, it wasn't packed but there was a good amount of people. I just came to claim the free burger you get for your birthday. Just one cheese burger, that's it. It took 25 mins to get the burger. 25 minutes! For one burger! During that 25 minute wait, I've witness several other customers complaining about their orders. I felt especially for one customer. I couldn't get the full scope of the convo, but she ordered a patty melt online, came to pick it up. Then came back after she realized the patty melt was missing cheese! Told the workers about it, and they would recook it. I think she was tired of waiting for the patty melt and asked for a refund. She was talking to one of the workers, then the worker forwarded the customer to the manager. The manager basically said she was too busy to handle it and told the original worker to handle the customer. The lady left very frustrated and without her patty melt. Then I saw another group of customers checking on their order. To find out someone picked up their order already. And they had to wait for them to re-cook it again. The my experience inside of the restaurant was a lot of waiting and annoyed customers. I think they just need to streamline the kitchen better by better delegating employees to specific task or areas. There wasn't any real rhythm or flow to the food cooking or coming out.
