Worst service tow service around went from 1 hr wait to 3 hrs to 5 hrs to wait for an "emergency tow service"

We called AAA last evening due to a dead battery while we were parked at the Irvine Marriott. Hadley Tow stated they would be out in 30 minutes which in reality turned out to be 1hr and 15 minutes, otherwise they would have received 5 stars. Sergio Alvarado came out and tested the battery and alternator and found the battery to have a bad cell. He stated he had a 6 year 3 year replacment battery from AAA for $198 installed. We agreed and he installed the battery in approximately 15 minutes including the paperwork. His customer service skills were very good and I appreciated his very transparent and honest approach to solving our dilemma. Highly recommended. read more

Yesterday I was broken down on the freeway and I called AAA. They hired Hadley town to come get me. All I had was a flat tire. Apparently, Hadley Tow is so inept they cant even fix a flat tire. After 3-4 hours of waiting the tow guy comes... says he can't fix my flat tire and the takes pictures of my work van and then leaves... leaving me stranded on the freeway.... I had my car towed, because of an accident back in Oct 2014. Luis Hernandez was the one who signed the paperwork. I had a lot of items missing from my car when I returned back to it. They left my car in the lot with all four windows down and the doors were unlocked. Plus, I had to pay extra for their overnight and weekend fee. read more

Hadley Towing took my car from Orange to Whittier and back falling repairs on my wheelchair accessible van. They were amazing! Our driveway is not easily accessible yet the driver who returned the car took much time and effort to put it exactly where I needed it so I could get back in it using the ramp from the side door. Totally blew out front right tire driving to LA from SD yesterday. Barely was able to pull to shoulder off freeway. I was stuck on the shoulder with no way to exit car b/c cars were driving like crazy driving on the off ramp. AAA is such a great service. Worth every penny. Called them and they sent out Hadley Tow asap. Josh, the tow guy, got there pretty quick and I was panicking , asking him if I should get out of car , or help him with something, or whatever. He gave me a big smile and said 'no, stay in the car , put on your seat belt, and I gots ya.' Swoon.... He changed my tire quickly and efficiently. He even picked up the old tire for me to see how it wasn't a nail that caused flat, but that indeed, the tire totally blew out. This was the tow company that came to help me when I called AAA and it was the best service. The service guy, Chad, was awesome. He was very friendly and professional and gave me different options in regards to my car. My battery was dead. I decided to have him jump my car and then follow him back to their location (instead of sitting in my car and waiting) to get a new battery. When I got there, everything was taken care of in about ten minutes. While I was waiting, one of the other guys that worked there notice the air in my tires were kinda low and filled them all up for me, too. Great service! read more

I'm a AAA member I called AAA to have my Porsche towed Hadley towing shows up I asked for a zero clearance toe truck they said it was broken The charger driver tries to pick up my car wreck in the front and in the paint and causing thousands of dollars worth of damage left left eight messages for a general manager name Anthony which never return my call in three weeks get a call from another person name Robert which basically they haven't fix my car giving me the runaround forcing me to take them to court. Im guessing he was the manager or something because his skills were great compared to my past experience with the company. Getting In a car crash was scary and Harley came through!! Hadley Towing towed my travel trailer in June of 2018 and destroyed the entire back and AAA auto club send them over to help me with a flat tire when the driver got my trailer home 5 hours later it was completely destroyed in the back do not let Hadley Towing touch your vehicle or in my case your travel trailer they have had one month to fix my trailer and Victor the manager will not call me back shame on AAA for sending Hadley Towing to make things worse. read more

0 stars. My daughter was in a four car collision and brought by ambulance to UCI. I called her insurance co to have car towed to an auto body shop. Her insurance is AAA. They would not release vehicle unless my daughter comes in and personally signs release. I called and explained that she was in hospital and couldn't come in to sign and ask if they could send release electronically, they said no. Just horrible. Locked my keys in my car yesterday in pouring rain. Called AAA for some help. They scheduled Hadley's Tow. When AAA gave me an estimated time I had to cancel as I was due in class. I called back to reschedule help after my class. Omar, from Hadley's arrived right on time, as scheduled. Was as nice as could be and super quick to help. He even told me that he had arrived earlier (AAA had not properly cancelled my initial request), and had left a note on my car because I was not there (I think the rain must have washed it away). I needed a tow and AAA sent out another tow company (it was supposed to be A&B, but they were too booked) Jim's Towing, who refused...eh..hum...should I say, made excuses why they could not two my car and left! A guy from Hadley had pulled into the parking lot I was stranded in and was eating a quick breakfast in is truck. He saw my very visible frustration and came over to see if he could help, and help he did. Did he try to charge me cash? No. Did he try to weasel out of the tow when he found out how far I had to go, like the other guy did? No. He just plain out helped me. This kind of business practice should be rewarded with repeat business. I just wish I had written the guy's name down to give him personal credit here. Our 3/4 ton van broke down off 91 & 57 fwy. We called AAA requested a Flat bed truck due to the weight (we've done this 3 previous times) & they sent Hadley there local towing provider. 1st Hadley sends a standard tow truck regardless of being instructed on the weight and our request for a Flat bed. The driver was rude, and after a conversation it became clear that he or they (Hadley Towing) DID NOT WANT TO TOW OUR VEHICLE TO HUNTINGTON BEACH where we live. So they made up an excuse to AAA that it would be dangerous to tow even on a flat bed. Again we've done this 3 previous times with no issues. We then had to convince AAA that this was not true and please send out another company. ALL IN ALL IT TOOK 3 1/2 HOURS TO GET HOME. Having your car break down is one thing, but to have a company flat out lie because they prefer short tow's is another. HADLEY TOW IS THE WORST AND I WILL GLADLY SHARE THIS WITH ANYONE I SPEAK WITH. If there was there was an option for a negative star I would have input it. My question is "where does Hadley get their drivers?". I had a run in with one of their drivers this morning. His tow truck was in the way of my car, so I asked him to move it. He said he would but I guess he must have decided that I could wait while he proceeded to finish his meeting with my neighbor and get done with HIS business first! I now was running late for work so as I stood watching him finish HIS business I pointed out that I was running late for work and he NEEDED to move his tow truck! He proceeded to give me excuses for his "inconsideration". When I told him I didn't care, I just needed him to move his truck, he told me "well I don't care either and I don't have to move my truck". When I called the number off his truck to report him the customer service rep tells me he can't do anything about it because he said that they were dispatched by AAA he had no way of tracking the driver unless I had a name. Not even by keying in the destination address. So this towing service has NO WAY OF TRACKING THEIR DRIVERS UNLESS YOU HAVE A DRIVERS NAME OR TRUCK NUMBER? ARE YOU KIDDING? If you want to pass the buck to AAA do your footwork and call AAA for the info. Unless of course it does not bother you that you have workers such as these working for you! read more
